...ENJOY READERS...

Time: 2100 Military Time Calender

Normal Civilian Time: 9:00 Pm.

It was almost the darkest of night time and the sun had set for the last couple of hours. While the time on Earth and its colony worlds can be somewhat different from one another, vahrian was no exception to it.

In the world of vahrian the time the sun sets is slightly distant from that of the unsc many worlds, while those like the opacarophile may love and value the study of what and when each colony world sun sets, vahrian was unlike some of them a bit different, just like some of the planets out there in the universe.

For example, the sun usually sets around six PM before night time in the west. While before it rises, the sun will come up for daylight around seven in the morning in the east. And in vahrian, while it orbits around its sun the light would at its earliest rise an hour early before six in the morning. But that does not mean that those of the unsc or people from Earth can anticipate every solution coming their way, for not everything can go their way.

A man shivers from the touch of the cold, he turns to his other side where a person can be seen sleeping. He reaches over her with his arms and pulls her in for the use of her warmth, yet that did little help so he turns back and lazily searches for his side of the blanket.

Not a moment later a strong blow from the wind pushed open the room's wooden window causing both couples to wake up in a jolt.

"Rithinaian, what was that!" The man's wife said as she had the blanket wrapped around her.

Rithinaian gave his wife a questioning look while internally cursing at himself for he should've known that his wife would always hog the rest of the blanket to herself. But no matter what he couldn't bring himself to hate her for that.

Yawning out loudly he scooted over to the left side of the bed where his legs searched for his sandals.

After finally finding it he put it on and strolled towards the opened window. He had to hold it open due to the wind that kept pushing it inward as it continued to slam onto the side walls.

Looking outside all he could hear were the sounds of the villagers speaking with one another. Some of them were seen rushing inside their homes as parents were pulling their kids into the house along with them. Wondering what was going on rithinaian turned to look the other side and saw a couple of people yapping about something, while that was arising some villagers ran from the guards, some of whom happened to have been ignored.

Guards were ushering the civilians to their houses, of course, some of the people didn't heed their protector's order and popped their heads out from their windows to take a glance up at the night sky. While others who were busy keeping the people at peace were constantly going around trying to do their job in maintaining stability, there were too many villagers, they outnumbered the guards by more than a hundred, so the best they could do was to tell them to calm down and to return to their homes as they go and work on calming down the whole village.

Rithinaian peered down to a nearby guard and was about to ask what was going on until the door of his and his wife's chambers slammed open, looking at who it was both men and women saw a girl dressed in a Victorian nightgown running inside their rooms, from behind her were four other children following right after her.

"Children, what's gotten onto you!... Bai-

Before their mother could finish speaking a little boy and girl who were of the same age came running and crashing almost knocking her on her back.

Two guards stood at the entrance, one offered to speak in formality to his village chieftains. "I'm sorry chieftains, I tried to stop them!"

Rithinaian hugged his kids and allowed them to go to their mother. He then ushered the two guards to report what it was that was bothering the outside people. "Guards, tell me, what is it that transpires to have caused the whole village to act in such terror?"

"Sir, believe it would be better to speak in a quieter room, to give chieftain daenaria and the children time to settle down," said the guard in a gesture of his words.

Daenaria who happens to be the second chieftain of the village popped her head to the side and spoke up. "Oh no need guard, my eldest daughter has told me of what happened, just tell my husband what it is you've seen,"

The guard bowed his head along with a crossed fist to his chest and responded. "As you wish lady daenaria... Chieftain rithinaian, the reason for what had caused such an uproar in the village was because the people saw a falling star, it passed by the village just a few moments ago... Some of the villagers believed it was the second coming of the legions,"

"A falling star, the burning legions, has any of you informed the lady serene of this outcome, what did she say about this?"

"We haven't sir, we didn't think of it at first for we were busy keeping the people at Consensus from panicking any further... I will have some of the guards fetch her for you right away,"

Lady Serene was someone of beneficial for the village chieftains who were rithinaian himself and daenaria. During both of their meeting, daenaria was being escorted by a couple of guards to the said new land where their new village was to be built, the carriage she was on had been stopped by a group of thieves, they were well-armed with swords and enchanted weapons. Only four men were to transport her and three of them survived the ambush with some nominal injuries, the fourth guard used his body to shield her from an attack that ended his life. Lady Serene who happens to pass by chooses to help them out of care for the pregnant daenaria. Thanks to her she was traced by the guards who were sent to find her.

When she came to the village with the guard Lady Daenaria and rithinaian asked her if she would like to live among them, at first Lady Serene was a little skeptical but ultimately agreed upon the offer. Another reason why they needed her was her ability to foresee unquestionable events not seen by any other seer beings of different species especially that of human beings. Yet rithinaian believed in the seer's mastership so he has tasked Lady Serene to be protected at all cost for he once knew of a seer like her when he was just a child.

Daenaria came walking behind him as she put her hand on his right shoulder. "Rithin, are you alright? You seem troubled,"

Squeezing her hand for comfort rithinaian chuckles to himself and speaks. "Yes, I am fine my love, I just have trouble with this sudden occurrence. The burning legion had only attacked the world of vahrian fifteen thousand years ago, only those of my kin who lived long enough as children were just horrified when they arrived on our doorstep. I want to know if it's truly them, and I fear that everything that we've built will crumble once more in their presence... Which is why I want to make sure that our people, whether united or not, we must prepare to move again,"

The little one who was of their youngest came smiling squeezed her head between the two and giggled when her father rubbed her head. "I understand that you were just a boy at that time, but you will need to keep yourself together, do it for our people, do it for our children,"

Mentally sighing to himself rithinaian felt the rest of his family hugging him. His eldest daughter leaned her head on his shoulder and spoke.

"Everything alright Father?" She said speaking.

"Yes Maya, everything is okay... Do me a favor will you,"

"Sure Father what is it?" Maya said looking up at him.

Rithinaian was only about six foot eleven. Elves like him were of the average height of six-eleven or shorter. The tallest of his elvish kind stood at seven feet, and if there were any halflings like that of his kids their height wouldn't change much of a difference since humans like his wife were as tall as that of other species living on vahrian.

"Take your siblings, make sure they are dressed for the time being, and have them fed. God knows how these little rascals will be bothering Lady Serene for too long," said Rithinaian as he set his younger daughter on Maya's shoulder.

"Where will you and mother be heading to then?" Asked one of the kids.

"Me and your mother son, we will be visiting Lady Serene for an important issue,"

Lady Serene P.O.V.

"Lady serene, this is pajro, please open the door!" Said a guard knocking a little harder.

The man was going to knock once again but the door opened before he had even done it. From the entrance stood a boy with black hair and green eyes. His outfit was that of a long tunic v-line shirt. The pants he wore were leather brown with a sword hanging on its sheath on his right side.

The boy held the door and spoke politely to the two guards. "Is something wrong Mr. Pajro?"

The man familiar with the famous lady of the village smiled lightly at the boy and hurriedly spoke to him. "Son is your mother awake at the moment,"

"Why yes She is, I can get her if you want,"

"No need to vaylan," A familiar voice said speaking up.

The boy surprised by the sudden sight of the village chieftains stood to the side, pajro the guard and his partner knew who it was and did the same thing as Vaylan and stepped to the side as they both responded.

"Chieftains, we did not expect you two to visit the lady Serene's home yourselves, forgive us for being late on retrieving her!" Said Pajro In a quick apologetic voice.

"No need to be sorry pajro... Please excuse us, we need to speak to Lady Serene ourselves immediately," Spoke Rithinaian.

The two men slammed their fists on their chests and responded in unison. "As you wish chieftains!... We will stand guard, let us know of anything that you two would require of us to do,"

Daenaria smiled lightly and responded with her way of greeting, she held the palm of her right hand flat on her abdomen and bowed to the two of them, afterwards she with rithinaian walked right past them.

"Hello Vaylan, may we enter your home," Daenaria said asking the boy.

Vaylan being the kind boy he was taught stepped to the side and presently gestured for them to do so without question. "Of course chieftains, come in!"

"Is your mother for any chance available?" daenaria said.

The sound of sudden footsteps coming their way alerted both couples and instantly knew who it was... Daenaria and rithinaian both took notice of the figure that stepped into the light. They see that the figure of the person was outfitted in a linen green and white dress. On the inside the woman wore a long-sleeved tunic skirt with the bottom ending at an inch past her kneecap, while the top could only reach her wrist. As for the green outfit she had worn it over her other clothes. As for the weird hat she had on it turns out to be a black cat that woke up from her owner's hand tapping on her back.

"Fang, go with Vaylan, I need to speak with friends of mine," The present lady serene said setting her pet down as it strolled to the waiting arms of Vaylan.

Rithinaian watched the cat as it was picked up by the boy and left for the other side of the living room. "That saber kitten, sure has grown a lot since the last time I've seen it,"

Serene with both hands on her waist chuckled as she responded to his comment. "Yes, and it's also a rarity for her kind to be able to survive the forests. Which is of course due to the bigger predators living amongst the forests... Anyway, what can I do for you two?"

"I assume you've already known of the falling star that appeared in the middle of the night," Daenaria spoke as she answered her.

"Why yes, I was just about to bid good night to my son, and after that, I was on my way to sleep, until the sound of a loud thundering sky occurred, it was like as if the sky itself was angered. And so being curious of what happened, I went outside to see what it is. And when I did came outside the villagers, they were in panic of something they've just seen, that's when I looked up and saw it," serene said elucidating the same exact scene she and the people had seen.

"Can you tell us exactly what it is you saw?" Inquired rithinaian.

"I do not think I've seen most of the falling star, but what I can tell you is that it looked clear enough to be made of metal, and I could've sworn I saw something falling in the opposite direction from that of the falling star. It went flying on that side, just about a couple miles away from the rivers," Serene said giving an interpretation of her explanations as she pointed east of her.

"Lady serene, you are a farseer, surely you could've received a vision from the light. Did it show you of a possible return of the burning legions, any answer from you would suffice?" Rithinaian said with tense expression across his voice.

"I don't believe that they'll be returning anytime soon, and if they did, we all would've known, for the first thing that the legions will have their minions do is cause as much chaos there is... regardless of what I think, I believe that vision I had the day before might have forewarned me of this very night occurrence," Lady Serene said as she could sense that both couples had obscured expressions of inquiry written on their faces.

"So, if you had a vision about this, then I supposed that what you've seen wasn't nothing of a misstep?" Daenaria said with little to no worries than that of her husband.

"Of course, it was not a mistake, at first I thought it wouldn't happen, yet, it turns out that sometimes the visions I have been getting had beaten me with the validity of even thinking they were false," Exclaimed last serene.

"See rithin, I told you not to stress yourself any further," Daenaria said to him managing to ease some tension off of him by clasping her hands with his.

"Would you always be calling me by that name," Rithinaian replied floutly.

Smiling up at him the two were about to come near each other for a kiss until Lady Serene coughed. They both turned to see the woman with her hands crossed all the while she eyed them with a slight smirk. "As much as I don't mind you two's love for one another, but I think there's more important matter at hand. Don't you think,"

"Forgive us serene, sometimes we tend to overlook most things on our surroundings," a riantly daenaria responded.

"Yes, and speaking of most things, sir rithinaian, don't you think we should send a couple scouts to check out where that falling star has landed," Serene said jugging the chieftain's mind up on the issue at hand.

"Yes, I'll have some of our men go to check and see what it is, but, serene... You also mentioned something or someone falling opposite direction from that of the star, am I right?" Rithinaian said to her.

"Yes, but i'd suggest that you have them group up to eight, four to check out of the falling stars location and the other four to find out about the place where our other falling star is at," serene told him for she knew that they're not the only ones who saw this occurrence of the night.

"Hmmm, you are right. It's better for our men and woman to be prepared, I'll send word right away," Rithinaian said approving of Serene's suggestion.

"Chieftain,"

Serene and the duo glanced to their side where they saw vaylan walking out from the hallway.

"Yes vaylan?" Responded rithinaian.

"If you are sending people to find the known location of these stars, then I wish to join the scouting party," Vaylan said speaking as from his words it was enough to get a questioning glare from his mother.

"What! No, you aren't going," Serene said loudly almost causing the two chieftains to cover their ears.

"Mother, I know how much you care about me, but I also know the land better then mostly anyone in this village. And if the chieftain is sending search parties outside then I wish to be amongst those people," said vaylan refusing to heed his mother's words.

"That is not your decision to make, you aren't going," Serene said this time sternly hoping that the boy would change his mind.

"But mother, I wan-"

"I said no, I've lost enough family and friends when the raiders pillaged our village, I will not lose you, do you understand me!" serene said slightly ticked off by her son's refusal.

"Lady serene, I understand your past pain and the loss of your friends and family, but may I make a suggestion," daenaria said benignant.

Serene heart beat started to lower back to normal, she didn't know why but after hearing vaylan even coming up with that suggestion she nearly lost it after almost berating her son for his foolish decision. And thanks to Chieftain Daenaria for cutting in, serene breathe-in with alleviation from the sudden burst she could've unleashed on her son.

"Yes lady daenaria, what can I do to help you?" Responded serene.

"Perhaps you could let the boy join, after all, I will have extra people go with him, I assure you, he'll be better protected. And besides, your son understands the place better," Daenaria said offering her aid to a pleading vaylan.

Taking the time to think for herself at the moment serene then let out a heavy sigh and stared at her son who was standing there with a look that said please say yes.

For once serene herself knew that eventually her boy would want to go checking out every part of the land once he's grown, for instance, her brother was once like that and for that it cost him his life when he did not return that one night. Reluctantly she turned to face the two chieftains and nodded in affirmation.

"Alright, but vaylan," Serene said letting her voice be heard a bit louder for her son to hear.

"Yes, mother!" Vaylan said answering her.

"Keep your eyes and ears open, whether you know this land better than most soldiers here, know this, always be aware of your surroundings, do you understand me, son," Serene told him as she went in and hugged vaylan.

"Heh, reminds me of our boy," Daenaria said lowering her voice so as to not ruin the moment.

"Speaking of our boy, I hope he's not rushing to find the falling star for himself," Rithinaian said knowing how their eldest son is with being the first to do things before anyone else does.

"Have faith in our son rithin, he would be a serviceable guard," Added daenaria as she understood that her eldest boy would be meticulously serious for he wanted to make his father proud.

...Unknown Area...

The groaning of a woman came across as a response to a sudden loud transpiring around the middle of the forest. As she made an effort to quell the ongoing pang of ringing going on in her head. As she started to move her head she could hear something soft touching against itself like it was hovering next to her ear, except this time she had her helmet on.

Opening her eyes the first thing she saw was that of an owl flying in midair all the while it was looking at her. Grace right brow raised in query what it was until she computed to herself that what the creature in front of her was just a flying bird with slightly darker grey feathers while on the bottom where its chest and lower abdomen were colored white.

Just as she tried reaching out to touch it to see if she was dreaming or not, grace was felt herself falling when the branch that her right leg was caught on had snapped with a crack. She was also thankful for her fall abruptly came to an end, that if she hadn't reacted quickly the fall would've still continued on.

It was pretty clear that she was heavy with all the gear weapons and armor she had on for a single branch couldn't support that much weight.

Thankfully this bigger part of the tree was not that of a branch but just about large enough to help sustained her balance.

She turns her head to the side, about far, south east of her she could see a darker part of the forest lighting with roles of what seems like torches, it was pretty clear to her that this we're probably the native people coming to find out about where she had crashed.

And thinking about that grace cursed for it wasn't intentional for her nor either anyone else from her ship to cause a scene, it wasn't supposed to happen like that at all she said thinking to herself. However, the person responsible for that was of an innie prisoner, or like many of the unsc prefer to call them, insurrectionist prisoners or just innies for short.

It was he the man who was responsible for hijacking an albatross dropship from eternity. The bastard was smart, he managed to have ask a marine recruit to take him back to his cell, but, that wasn't all, he waited for the right moment where when alone with the recruit far from any camera sightings and prying eyes, and from there on he took the time to take out the marine in silence, and after that he took the downed man's outfit disguising himself as one of the soldiers.

Thereupon that he ably used his moment and took for an escape route. For how he was caught, one of the other marines who happens to come upon the knockout recruit found him sleeping on another part of the hallway and immediately alerted the security forces to which the announcer declared a possible escape of a prisoner and a newly captured sangheili elite. Then after leaving the person the convict happens to have made a mistake in trying to steal a pelican from a spartan by the name Gabriel Thorne. Whether the young men might have been out of armor at the time when checking out the pelican he had subdued the convict, until his partner a sangheili who was also a prisoner easily won against the unarmored spartan.

It was thanks to her that spartan Gabriel thorne would've died if she hadn't arrived on time. Grace couldn't allow that to happen, not after most of her spartan brothers and sisters died. And she couldn't afford to just let the kid die as well.

"Ahhh! Damn! What would john think?" Grace said.

During one of their training sessions, john, cadet one one seven would've chastised her as in criticise her for failing to always being aware of her surroundings. For as long as she used to hate being ordered for her failures grace let's out sigh of deplorable sigh, regardless of what she and the other spartan two's have been through, she was starting to miss them all. Yet and if there was one thing that they all would've tell her, it was to never give up.

But for a sixty-year-old woman stuck in her body that is biologically still as young as a woman in her mid-thirties, Grace was starting to get closer to the point where she hates having let her guard down.

She was more focused on dealing with the Sangheili seeing as how he was more of a threat whether then the prisoner who had sneakly puts an armor lock on and sticked it into her mjlnior when battling his partner. At the time she could've killed the sangheili but inni had saved the elite's life. And the man couldn't kill her for there were already other spartans Marines and odst who were about to appeased the two convicts until the human prisoner fired up the albatross and flied it off eternity's hangar...

The yells and shouts belonging to that of the locals here was nearing the place she was in, so Grace had gradually gotten herself up and quietly kept herself silenced.

Beneath her, just about ninety feet high below ground were a couple of people, although she might have sworn it, one of those people had long-pointing ears, it was unlike like a human herself. Their skins were green while their nose was also about as lengthy enough yet less sharper than their very own ears.

These beings for instance were one of the few species living on this weird planet that those on Trevelyan and eternity didn't have time to spy on and study, the reason why was that there were multiple other beings that the egg heads and scientists wanted to focus more on in reviewing.

Refraining herself from the apparent eyes of these creatures grace-093 ambled back a bit further into the dark.

Her thought was proven right when the small creatures went into hiding when four people came into scene. Nonetheless these four individuals were joined by two others like them which added them up to a number of six. What all six of them had in common was that they each wore a green cloak. Their armor weren't like that of some of the soldiers of the other kingdoms that she and the others had surveyed.

While their armor weren't made of steel or any source of metal they made up for their crossbow and variety of weapons with them. Grace could feign that these man and woman of whatever village they came from didn't have adequate of metal nor anything to help elevate their armor for they did their best in probably hunting beasts or creatures for their tough skin to use for leather armor. Yet somehow she was urging to test that matter but chose not to for it was clear to her that these group weren't looking for trouble. Yet she was unsettled, thinking that if she should do something to warn these people.

"Where do you think that thing had fallen into vaylan?" A man said speaking all the while he kept an eye opened out for any possible attack.

"I don't know my friend, I just know that she's in these part of the forest," Vaylan said answering for he had some inside help.

Vaylan's colleague brow lifted up at how he even knew of thing's gender. "And how is it possible that you already knew of these thing gender. First you told me it was a falling star, and now you are claiming it to be of a female,"

One of the scouts let out a wholehearted laugh which ended as she spoke as well. "Maybe, perhaps our friendly human is starting to go brain-sick with all that presumption that he keeps telling us about,"

Vaylan rolled his eyes at his friend, he knew what he was told. After all the druid that came to him in the form of an owl told him specifically that the star that he thought was one was just a person, a woman who was for the time being hanged up in one of the trees here where he and the scouts were searching for her.

One of the scouts who was far from them was skimming through some part of the forest, he took another step until from the bottom his boot kicked something solid. Looking down the elf man tilted his head in haze of what it was until he kneeled down to pick up, when holding the weird metallic thing in front of his face he turned to call out to the leader of the group.

"Nellion, come check this out,"

"What is it?" Nellion said as ge walked over to his fellow scout member.

Yet as he does he saw it and took it from the scout's hand and checked it for himself. It reminded him a lot of the dwarven and alliance small muskets. Being fifty himself and travelling the minor lands of vahrian tends to give him of what distinctive kinds of weapons that everyone else on this planet uses. Some like that of the dwarves themselves like producing large three-foot-long muskets that shoots out a fairly rounded ball of death that explodes upon it's targets im contact.

But this one he has on his hand was entirely different from the small arms fire of the dwarves and alliance alike, only that it has minor replication from one another. While the small muskets may have less range and small strength than that of its brethren nellion to inclined to find out how much this strange contraption of a musket is.

"What is that nellion?" The female elf said asking her ally.

"Don't know, but it sure reminded me of those dwarven muskets, it's also very much light yet feels strange to hold due to its weight," said Nellion as he held the handle of the strange weapon then after that he slipped his index finger past the hole where the trigger is and pretended to aim it around.

"I see you are familiar with those things," comment the elven scout.

"Yes, being a traveler tends to give you many different kinds of a knack for trying out new stuff lady Kiran,"

"Guess being half human and half elf is what makes him incline towards these inhuman weapons," said another one of the crew.

"It may be so, but I can't help but despise those abnormalities, the fact that those dwarves were responsible for handing out those weapons during the aftermath of the war was a foolish idea,"

"We might never know the reason why so kiran, but if you'll be happy enough, I have a dwarven friend that would've agreed with you on that decision," added Nellion.

"I don't just hate all dwarves nellion, I hate the outlandish ones who made the idea to trade with an enemy that in turn used those weapons on our eleven brothers and sisters," Responded a spite'd kiran.

Just after kiran had spoken both she and nellion overheard one of their squad mates call out to vaylan.

"Vaylan, what is it!"

"I saw someone," replied Vaylan.

"You think it's the woman you've claim is here?" Kiran spoke as she and nellion walked over.

"No, but something big, I thought I saw eyes of green for a moment... Forgive me, maybe kiran is right, I might be going crazy," said vaylan keeping the last sentences to himself.

"Possibly a bird vaylan, i'd say we head back. We've come all this way to find nothing else," Said a weary squadmate.

"Guys, look what I've found," As the elf finished speaking he as hold in his hand an arrow.

Unbeknownst to the scout he was unaware of a goblin bopping out from the bushes he hiddened in. Those who were nearby him reached towards the elf and pushes him away, instead of what they expected, a double sound of silencer smg occurred, what vaylan and two other scouts saw was that they've just caught a glimpsed of a brisk flash of light coming from uptop of a tree fifty yard from them.

Just as vaylan was about to call out to the person hiding up ther he and the scouts were surrounded by multiple other small green goblins. The goblins all let out a chorale of snickering and laughter as they then began drawing on the six scouts. One of which jumped forth first with it's knife raised and was instantly impaired by an arrow through the head.

Others of it's companion watched their own get taken down that fast snarled at the scouts and immediately rushed to attack.

Vaylan let one goblin get closer and then stepped forth and kicked it so hard that it sent the small being smashing through fairly large plants.

Before vaylan could even make another move one of the goblins was fast enough to come near his right foot and cut him across the ankle. Vaylan cried out in a short pain and angrily grabbed the small creature and threw it across the field.

Yet as he does that another one jumped from behind him with two of it's small daggers ready to stab into the back of his head, though before it could carry out its perfect ambush one of the scouts saw it and ran towards vaylan. The boy didn't know of why his companion was coming his way with face of fury but watched on as she made a flawless leap over him pulled out her sword and sliced the goblin clean in half.

As she made land the elf walked over to the boy and grabs the front of his tunic pulled him forth and slaps him on the face. "Keep your eyes opened human! The next time you make a mistake by just standing still after a kill I won't save you! Got it!"

Quickly nodding up and down vaylan said his thank you and was going to warn her of an attack from behind but instead the elf raised her left arm up and aimed it back and without even looking a hidden mini bow unlatched itself from her forearm and out shot an arrow as it struck the goblin on the center of its head.

After that vaylan was a bit starstruck by her action and eyed her as she continues to slaughter more of the goblins. Thereon vaylan went back to battle as he stabs an incoming goblin by it's neck and used it as a shield from three arrows. As he went around dealing with one goblin after another vaylan could see that something wasn't right.

Usually these small green skins wouldn't be coming alone on a mission, especially in a night time like this. As his mind proceeded with the comprehension of the case vaylan stopped next to nellion and cut down a goblin.

"Nellion, something is not right with this!" Spoke vaylan.

"Oh yeah, and what's that my friend!" Replied nellion as he stabbed three goblins through the stomach and drove his sword all the way past their ribs.

For the moment vaylan and nellion danced through the armies of goblins while speaking with each other.

"Goblins usually travel with their bigger allies am I right!" Said Vaylan screaming so that his partner could hear him.

"Yes, whenever a small company of goblins are sent as... Oh no!" Nellion slid to a halt as he caught a jumping goblin midair and crushes it's neck.

"What is it?" Vaylan said wanting to know what it is that's going through his companion mind that made him stop.

"Kiran, how many of them left?" One of the other elves said shouting through the battle.

"I'd say six more, these does not look like something this goblins would usually do on their own!" Kiran answered back as she used her right foot and stomped on a goblin and began putting more force into it that caused the small creature's head to pop.

"These goblins are vacant from that of their other friends. I feel something terrible being plotted, and whoever sent this small of a troop wasn't smart enough to think that they'd fall this easily by my blade!" one of the other elves said adding his contention in as well.

"Duck you old fool!" Female elf said shouting as she rushed forth and decapitated a goblin.

"Thank you fafnir, but might I say that you should also look behind you," The eldest of the elves said as he pointed behind her.

Thankfully fafnir nodded in preference to the old elf and spins upwardly and cuts the goblin head in half diagonally.

"A bit of a show off don't you think," The old elf said.

"It gets the job done," Replied fafnir as she spins her daggers and then sheath them back.

"Looks to me that the job here is done, we need to report back to the chieftains of what we've encountered here," Declared nellion catching his crew teammate.

"Vaylan, where are you going?" Kiran said to the young boy.

Vaylan picked up an extra sword and surveyed it. Without much of a trouble he squeezed the weapon and it cracked. It was just as he thought. During the ongoing battle, vaylan had paid attention on where the third flash of light had ensued from. Apparently, during in the time of combat vaylan was about to witnessed one of his fellow elf friends get killed by one of the goblins who tried to sneak behind him, but it did not come to pass for a third and fourth of that same quieter yet silent sound had happened again when it took the life of the goblin and two of its kin.

Kiran sauntered forth to vaylan and halted when he showed her a weapon belonging to one of the stained goblin. "This short sword, it belong to one of the dead goblins, and it would've killed you, if not for the mysterious woman out there. She had managed to take the perfect timing and killed off three of those goblins,"

"How are so sure of that, maybe it is just that your goi-"

Cutting her off vaylan just spoke out to his scouts. "I'm going to find out who this woman is, you guys can continue on without me,"

Knowing how his friend is when he is this unyielding to return with them, nellion turned to two of his other squad. "Kiran Fafnir, old man dirvin. You three go with vaylan and help him find this woman. I and xaern will head back to inform the chieftains of what happen here,"

Nodding to his team leader old man dirvin gestures for kiran and fafnir to follow him and vaylan as they head off to find the mysterious woman.
