Azkar followed the broker, and after ten minutes of walking, both continued forward. Just as Azkar was about to speak to the broker, he realized they were in a dark alley, and ten more vampires were present.

"Sero, you found another prey for us, hahaha. Here, take it," one of them threw a pouch filled with gold at Sero and said.

Observing the situation, Azkar doubted that this was happening coincidentally. How could he consistently encounter these kinds of situations so easily? Judging by the leader vampire's words to Sero, the same person who brought him here, it seemed like it wasn't their first time doing this.

"Hahaha, you're an easy target I found in the black market. But it's really funny how you're walking in the black market like a headless chicken," Sero said, he was the one who brought Azkar here.

Hearing this, Azkar even doubted that this must be a joke. He only came to this place for the first time but did not take anything seriously. Even if this empire wants to kill him, at least they need their king to come and fight him. This is the reason he decided to let his guard down and act freely, like a normal person going shopping.

Azkar saw Sero, who brought him here to kill him, in despair. However, Azkar felt disgusted towards this kind of person, so he also burned him to death. There was only ash left, along with some gold coins in the pouch where Sero was standing before. Azkar didn't want to hear any words from his mouth, so he killed him instantly.

Seeing everything happening in front of them, all of the vampires were in shock. They realized they wouldn't survive this situation.

"Please don't kill me, I'll give you everything," the leader vampire pleaded.

"Me too," said the vampire behind all the others.

In just a couple of minutes, everything they had was presented to Azkar because they wanted to save themselves. Azkar saw gold coins and other items that could be sold for money, but he only needed gold coins, so he stored everything in the Loot space.

"Okay, I'll give you one last chance because you gave me this much gold, but don't ever try to do something like this again. When you do, it won't end well for any of you." Azkar lost interest in killing them, so he marked all of them. It was similar to a mini-detonation bomb; if they even thought about doing this again, they would die horribly.

"You, what's your name?" Azkar asked the leader of the vampire group.

"I...i. .. it's Asilo Crimson," the leader said his name, visibly terrified as he hadn't even found out how his subordinates died.

"Okay, I want you to do something for me, and then I'll spare your life. If you do well, I'll even reward you in a way that could change your whole life," Azkar said.

"I...i.. I'll do anything, just please spare me," Asilo begged, trying his hardest to convey sincerity for his plea.

After that, Azkar provided him with information about the blood pearl and instructed him to keep this information a secret, known only to him and potential buyers. If the information became too widespread like rumors, no one would take it seriously. Azkar used his contacts to secure some buyers, and if that didn't work, he planned to go to the auction house.

"Don't try to double-cross me if you don't want to die horribly," Azkar reminded him.

After a while, he left the alley and headed towards the black market, where most anonymous buyers sold their items.
