Chapter 7: Osamu

Kageyama's POV

I've been out of myself since I came in the city. Yeah, sure I did made friends, Kuroo and Osamu. And some at the workplace.

"Kageyama, you okay?"

I looked up to Sugawara and gave a faint smile then nodded.

"You sure? You've been gone for almost 2 weeks. You almost got fired." He said in concern.

"Ah. That's right. I was helped out by a friend so it didn't happen." I said which is true. I didn't actually know that Kuroo would invest in this company just for my sake, I could just apply to another company, but it might take a while so I'm gonna thank him later.

"Oh yeah, you gonna have something to do today?" He asked again.

"I don't think so. Since the boss told me I could still get some rest." I answered.

"Great! Wanna come with us later? We're gonna go and drink."

"Hmm. I don't really mind." I said and turn my gaze to the computer.

"Okay then. See you later."

I already felt comfortable after the check up yesterday I'm glad I don't have to be aware at other genders. But.. That person, is he one of those that can smell my pheromones? No one seems suspicious of me or even didn't consult me if I really am a beta.

"Kageyama, have a drink!" One of my seniors offered a drink.

A man secretly replace one of the glass of Kageyama which no one noticed because of the other chaos of their other co-workers. The man then walked away like nothing happened and on his lips was a smile of victory.

"Let's end it here. We should get going." Sugawara said who is sobber.

"Hmm." Kageyama quietly agreed and finished his last bottle.

"Anyone knows where Kageyama lives?" One of the workers asked.

A man with ash hair said and stood in front of them. Suspiciousness is on their face. Suddenly a man they don't know claims that knows where an unconscious man lived.

"I'm telling the truth. We lived together along with another friend." He took his wallet out and took his card. "Here's my ID. Osamu Miya is my name. If he wont go to your office tomorrow report it. We live in K building apartment number 21. My restaurant is just right there."

Their suspiciousness disappeared and gave Kageyama to him.

"Get home safely, Sir Miya."
