The Surprise

Lliw had spent a good portion of his break with Jane so he just decided to head to the venue for his next class early.

Walking into the class, He was surprised to find that there were 4 students already inside. He found the class Rep among them and he wasn't too surprised to see her there, just impressed. She was really dedicated to her studies and she was quite smart to boot. The other 3 students consisted of a girl and 2 boys, the class Rep was explaining something to them.

Lliw silently took a seat in the front row. There was still some time before the lesson began so he took out the class materials and started going through them. Looking at the different types of business schemes, Lliw felt a headache. This subject was the one that most found very easy but to him, it was the most difficult. He had quite a terrible business sense. However, he didn't give up just because he wasn't good at it. He started reading it, hoping to at least pick up a few points.

He was too immersed in the notes that he didn't notice the Lecturer enter. He woke up when someone tapped him to stand up and greet the lecturer.

"ahem" He blushed in embarrassment as the lecturer sent him a reproachful glare.

The rest of the class carried on without incident but Lliw could barely make out most of the context that was being taught.

" I need to find someone to tutor me in this subject" He thought bitterly. However he doubted whether he'd have the time for it.

Lliw didn't have any friends in his class so he left as soon as it was done. He walked briskly to his next class. He had The Hegemonic Dinosaur, Mrs Fuise.

He got there in time and sat in the first row again. What he didn't expect though, was that the class Rep and her friend came over to sit next to him.

The 2 greeted him and he returned it even though he was feeling a little weird.

Mrs Fuise entered the class not too long after and began to prepare the equipment for the lesson. Seeing that it was going to be quite laborious for her, Lliw got up to help her. She smiled kindly at him and allowed him to help her. The students started filling up the class quickly. He finished rather quickly and returned to his seat.

"Alright. Today i want all of you to watch this documentary and use what you've learned so far to come up with solutions to the problems you identify... " Mrs Fuise Explained the task to them

"I Will allow you to attempt it in groups of 4" Mrs Fuise added before sitting down to work on her Laptop.

As soon as she announced that they could form groups, everyone quickly found their friends or hogged up to someone smarter than them. A lot of them came to the first row hoping to join the Class Rep's group however she turned them all down.

The seat to the left of Lliw was empty but until someone just sat down without saying anything.

"Oh, Since we're sitting next to each other we should just form a group" The person turned to Lliw and suggested with a friendly smile.

"!" Lliw exclaimed in shock when he saw who it was.

"W-w-what are you doing here?" He asked the smiling Jane. After hearing Lliw's exclamation, the whole class turned silent. Mrs Fuise just kept quiet and resumed her work on her Laptop.

"What's wrong?" Jane held back her laughter as she enjoyed seeing his troubled expression.

"Since when did you join our course?" He asked her, feeling she was too rampant.

"Well, not that you need to know but it just so happens that i was looking for a course to get myself some extra credit and this course seemed like it would be interesting" She said.

"Uhm, Fellow student Fancel would you like to join our group?" The Class Rep asked Lliw.

"mm" Lliw nodded feeling quite surprised that she'd pick him to be in her group.

"Count me in too" Jane said without asking to be let in.

"Alright" The class Rep didn't have a problem with her joining and agreed to it.

"Let's introduce ourselves first, My name is Kim Asherdown" The girl next to the class Rep took the initiative to introduce herself to the 4 of them.

"My name is Denise Everton" The class Rep followed.

" Lliw Fancel" Lliw introduced himself as well.

" Call me Jane " Jane said simply.

"Alright. I've already connected to the network and we can watch the documentary" Kim Asherdown said.

They watched the documentary which was a half hour long and to Lliw's surprise, Jane did not cause any trouble.

"Any thoughts?" The Class Rep, Denise, asked.

"Well, I feel we can use AI to help us determine what type of Treatment is best suitable for each of the patients" Kim Asherdown suggested.

"I feel that we can use AI in Emergency vehicles and traffic lights to reduce the number of accidents that result During a crisis. " Lliw offered his opinion.

"We could also integrate AI into ... " Jane also obediently offered her insight and the lesson proceeded smoothly. Lliw didn't quite trust her so he was on edge the entire time. However, she didn't do anything out of the ordinary and was actually very helpful.

"Ok everyone. Times up. I want to see your completed works the next time we meet" Mrs Fuise said to the class.

"Lad Fancel, Little Jane. Come help me with my things" She called Lliw and Jane who were in the front to help her move to her Office.

Lliw didn't mind helping her and was going to help her even if she didn't ask him to and Jane was her dear granddaughter so after bidding farewell to Kim and Denise, they left with the Dinosaur.
