"Do you miss me?" Nolan asked acting cute.

"You might be missing something else you see. Should I remind you" Nolan played around as he tickled Alina.

The driver watched them from the view mirror and he smiled.

"It's so good to be in love" The driver mumbled with a smile.

They got to Nolan's building.

"Sir, we're here" The driver announced and Nolan looked up to the window sadly.

"Shouldn't we just head to the airport?" Nolan said sluggishly.

"You looked worried when you spoke with her on the phone so it's better you check up on her" Alina said calmly.

"Will you be fine alone here in the car or will you come with me? We should check up on her together" Nolan suggested but Alina nodded negatively.

"I think it's something only you can handle so go check it out and don't allow her to get anywhere close to you not even your hands. Avoid any physical contact with her okay" Alina forewarned and Nolan smiled.

"Your wish is my command, princess. I will be right back" Nolan said and got down the car.

"Sir, please look after my baby girl so she doesn't go anywhere. I will be right back" Nolan said and winked at Alina.

Alina smiled but deep down, she wasn't sure if she should let Nolan go alone.

"It's fine. I should be a bigger person here. I trust Nolan" Alina said to herself as she clenched her fist.

Nolan went up to his apartment using the elevator.

He got in and found Lilian seated on his couch with her hands wrapped around her stomach.

He rushed in on seeing her posture.

"Lilian, is everything okay?" Nolan asked curiously about to lay his hands on her shoulders but he remembered Alina's words and he took a few steps backwards.

"I'm sorry Lilian but I can't keep calling you such names and I never stopped caring about you. Since it was all for friendship sake, I've decided to call it a quit. My girlfriend wouldn't like it if she finds out I call you such names and yes Lilian, I've got a girlfriend now" Nolan announced and Lilian moved backwards in shock.

"When did all that happen? When and why Nolan? Why?"

"What do you mean why? I love Alina and that's why we're in a relationship but what sort of question is that Lilian? Aren't you happy, I'm finally out of the single world zone?" Nolan asked with a smile and Lilian walked closer to him and she punched Nolan on his stomach.

"AHH!" Nolan winced holding his stomach as it hurts so much.

"Jerk! I can't believe you did this to me" Lilian cried.

"What are you saying Lilian?" Nolan managed to utter still holding his stomach.

"I'm not happy you got yourself a girlfriend. I hope the both of you break up soon. Jerk!" Lilian cursed as she kicked him and ran out of his apartment.

Nolan bent down holding his stomach. He removed his hand and found blood on his palm.

"Oh no" Nolan uttered in pain as he shot his eyes.

Alina's eyes were fixed on the building.

She saw Lilian coming out of the building wiping off her tears angrily.

"She's out already. Where's Nolan?" Alina uttered worriedly.

"Sir, please I will be right back. I should go check up on Nolan" Alina said politely then got out of the car.

Alina rushed into the building then into the elevator.

She got to Nolan's floor and got out of the elevator.

"Nolan! Nolan!" Alina called out worriedly as she saw Nolan's door wide open.

She ran into his apartment and she found Nolan on the floor holding his stomach.

"Nolan!" Alina called out in shock.

"Alina" Nolan called out slowly as he tried to stand up but Alina rushed to him and helped him.

"Nolan, what happened to you? Why are you on the floor?" Alina asked curiously and her eyes landed on the blood stain on Nolan's clothes.

"What's this Nolan?" Alina asked in shock as she tried to get his hands off the stained spot.

"It's over there" Nolan pointed the bookshelf.

MINUTES LATER....

Nolan is laying on his bed with Alina seated next to him.

"What happened between the both of you? Why did you allow her punch you when you know so well that you haven't recovered yet. She messed up with your stitches" Alina said angrily and Nolan held her hand.

"I'm sorry, we had plans of leaving today" Nolan said slowly.

"Who cares about a trip when you're in such state. Before anything, your health matters more to me" Alina nagged and Nolan laughed.

Alina's phone started ringing.

"Oh my goodness, it's Aria" Aria gasped out in shock before taking the call.

"Hey! Lina where the hell are you? I've been waiting at the airport for hours now. I can't believe you left me here all by myself" Aria screamed over the phone and Alina blocked her ear with her finger.

"Ria, I'm so sorry. We were heading to the airport but something happened. I'm sorry, I freaked out and forgot to give you a call" Alina apologized softly.

"What happened Lina? Are you okay? You're safe right?" Aria asked concerned.

"What is he doing here?" Aria gasped out on seeing Matthew head to where she was seated with his luggage next to him.

"Who?" Alina asked curiously.

"It's Matthew"

"What! How did he find you there? Did you inform him about your trip?" Alina asked curiously.

"Of course, I didn't. Why would I inform someone else about our trip"

"He's Nolan's best friend but do you think Nolan also invited him?" Alina asked staring at Nolan but he nodded his head negatively.

"Lina, we will talk about that some other time. For now, I've got to deal with him"

"Bye and have a safe trip" Alina said with a smile and hung up immediately.

"Nolan did you ask Matt to join us as well?" Alina asked curiously.

"I did at first but he said he has a tight schedule" Nolan said.

"If he has a tight schedule then what is he doing at the airport? Shouldn't he be working?" Alina questioned.

"Maybe he's trying his luck out. Why are you so worried about them? They can handle themselves but I can't. I'm on a sick bed and all I need right now is my girlfriend's attention but she's giving it to her friend instead" Nolan pouted as he stared at Alina passionately and he grabbed her closer to him.

"You're not well yet Nolan. You need to recover first" Alina blushed as she moved away.

AT THE AIRPORT....

Matthew walked up to Aria and took off his sunshades.

"What are you doing here?" Aria asked calmly.

"What does it look like I'm here for? Of course, I want to travel as well" Matt said.

"Oh I see, well good for you then. Wish you a safe trip. I'm heading back home" Aria said and stood up from her seat.

Matt held her hand, stopping her from leaving.

"Don't go, Aria. I'm only here because of you so please don't leave me alone here. You're going on a trip, allow me to join you. It will be fun. You've rescheduled all your plans so there's no point going back home. Let's travel together" Matthew said softly and Aria smiled.

"I like it when you're straightforward. Let's go" Aria said with a smile and they both head to the boarding area.

Nolan dragged her back to the bed and she fell on him lightly.
