"Isn't she beautiful?" Warren, noticing Field's unwavering gaze, couldn't help but smirk, whispering to Field.
However, Field shook his head.
Warren paused, "She's not beautiful to you?"
Field grinned, "Don't you think describing her as 'beautiful' seems a bit... inadequate?"
"Now that you mention it..." Warren glanced at her again and nodded.
Because behind that girl, several other female students were also quite attractive. But in comparison, calling her beautiful seemed insufficient.
"Who is she?" Field asked.
"Hilda Kale!" Warren immediately replied.
"She's quite the prominent figure at the Heidi's School of Magic!"
"She enrolled a year ago, but don't underestimate her!"
"She not only skipped a grade but was elected the president of the Heidi's Student Union in just one year!"
"Is she that impressive?" Field inquired.
"Absolutely!" Warren said enthusiastically. "At the School of Magic, you don't get to that position without talent. And that's considered among the ranks of imperial officials!"
"And she's a dual-talent prodigy, proficient in both physical skills and magic. She's already a platinum-level powerhouse before the age of twenty, even more formidable than the team captain!"
"Cough..." Geoff coughed awkwardly on the side.
Warren grinned sheepishly, then continued.
"In short, she's a paragon of excellence!"
"She also has a title, called the 'Swan Sword Maiden'."
"If you're her enemy, the heavy snow you see might not be real snow, but sword energy she's unleashed!"
"And..." At this point, Warren leaned in close to Field, speaking mysteriously, "It's said her background is not trivial. Even princes from the Chabdas Kingdom have to bow to her!"
"Wow, that's impressive," Field mused, pursing his lips.
Under the empire, there are kingdoms, and the power of the kingdoms is not insignificant. If even a prince from a kingdom has to bow to her, Hilda's background must be quite deep.
Field smiled. Deep background, strong abilities, high charm—challenging indeed.
Seeing Field's intriguing expression, Warren hesitated, whispering, "Bro, you're not... thinking of pursuing her, are you?"
"Many noble youths have pursued her, but none have had good endings..."
"Pursue her?" Field chuckled, turning and walking towards the library. "Me, asking her to be my girlfriend? I'd rather spend that time doing more tasks."
"I'm so handsome; if anyone's pursuing anyone, it'd be her pursuing me~"
Others: "..."
At that moment, Geoff and the others were truly curious. This guy clearly looks like a simple and honest person, so how can he be so confident?
This isn't just confidence; it's narcissism!
Everyone felt a bit tired of Field's antics and followed him, while Chichi giggled uncontrollably, finding Field's narcissism quite amusing.
She thought Field's kind of self-confident narcissism was very attractive.
Because strong confidence is a quality that strong people must possess!
And this isn't just limited to girls of the Cat Clan.
Geoff and the others didn't take Field's words seriously, thinking he was just joking.
Arriving at the library entrance, they could see many students streaming out of the library in groups.
Because it was time for class to end.
Field quickly spotted his buyer.
She was a woman in her mid-twenties, with deep blue long hair, a beautiful face, and an outstanding figure.
She also wore gold-rimmed glasses, exuding a mature charm.
"Holland, your purchased potions have been delivered and are at the academy's unloading area," Geoff, who clearly knew Holland, said skillfully.
Holland had purchased magic potions from the magic potion shop many times, and Geoff was always responsible for escorting her.
"Thank you," Holland appeared very friendly, nodding with a smile while glancing at Field. There was no denying Field's imposing physique. However, she only gave him a brief look before continuing on. However, shortly after, she heard Geoff's apologetic tone, "But... there was a problem this time, and some of the goods were damaged..."
Holland paused, eyebrows slightly furrowing as she asked, "How much damage?"
"Twenty bottles of low-level magic potions and ten bottles of intermediate-level magic potions," Geoff replied discreetly, casting a glance at Field.
Field stood with his hands on his hips, pretending to admire the campus scenery.
Upon hearing this, Holland seemed to breathe a sigh of relief.
She had ordered five hundred bottles of low-level magic potions and fifty bottles of intermediate-level magic potions for experiments and potion improvements. When she heard there was damage, her heart skipped a beat.
The academy had a potion experiment project that needed results in a short time. Otherwise, the academy wouldn't approve further experiment funds, which would be troublesome for her.
Fortunately, it was only a loss of thirty bottles of potions, which she could accept. But it still made Holland somewhat unhappy.
Leaning against the doorframe with her charming demeanor, she pursed her lips slightly, shaking her head and saying, "This won't do. These potions are important to me, and I'm a loyal customer of yours..."
She didn't finish her sentence, clearly waiting for Geoff to speak up.
Geoff quickly interjected, "Rest assured, we will compensate you. Whatever the loss, we will make up for it!"
Holland nodded in satisfaction, "Then make up for it and deliver it to me as soon as possible."
"Okay! Thank you very much!" Geoff said immediately, visibly relieved.
He didn't try to make excuses. After all, his job was to safely deliver the goods to the buyer. Whatever happened in between didn't matter—the buyer only cared about the result.
Then, Holland followed everyone to the unloading area because she needed to inspect the goods and provide unloading services.
While Geoff and the others were busy unloading, Field lounged casually on the side, seemingly uninterested in participating.
He had already completed the important task, leaving the trivial matters to Geoff and the others. Moreover, his task was to escort, not unload. After all, he was a mercenary, not a guard for the magic potion shop.
However, when the potions were almost unloaded, Field suddenly remembered something. He went to the back of the third carriage and retrieved a burlap sack from the carriage.
The sack was large, about the size of a person, and bulging inside. Most importantly, the surface of the sack was soaked with blood, sticky and emitting a foul smell, with insects gathering on it.
This made Holland furrow her brow, unable to help covering her mouth and nose as she asked, "What's that?"
She didn't want her potions to be contaminated by whatever was inside that sack. If so, she would demand a replacement.
"Oh, it's a wolf demon corpse," Field replied casually. He planned to go to the market in Grela City later to see if he could sell it. Grela City was larger than Seadon, and he might get a higher price there.
However, when Holland heard the words "wolf demon," her eyes widened suddenly.
"Wait a minute!"
