Chapter 42 The Great mountains IV

Chapter 42 The Great mountains IV

This is why possessive and obsessive emotions, more often than not, are a bad thing instead of good.

Kaile was just standing their blankly, his ability to understand what she was thinking was like asking a normal man, trying to see the bottom of the sea to him, all he could tell was that Salia was torn between something, but respecting Eleonor, he chose to remain silent, and let her handle the situation.

''Kaile.'' Kaile looked at Eleonor who just let go of his hand.

''You have the authority, to upgrade her race from a regular Golden Fire phoenix, to the Myriad Ancestral Fire phoenix, just like in your Ancient vampire novel, also, you have the ability to allow her to etherealize the Ancient vampire progenitor as well.''

Kaile although surprised, didn't question, within his mind, he closed his eyes, and just focused on the two races within his memories, the Myriad Ancestral Fire phoenix, a phoenix, with the attributes of every element imaginable attached to her fire, along with every elemental flame possible, unfortunately the phoenix, can not use any other element other than fire, but that doesn't really matter though, then he focused on the progenitor of Ancient vampires, just like Emma, Sophia, Eleonor, and himself, with that, Sophia went through a slight change.

Before, Sophia's hair was still golden, behind her back, was two etherealized golden wings.

Now however, her back has two pairs of wings, her etherealized phoenix wings are just below her shoulders, they are white in colour at the centre, the closer towards the edges, the more light blue the etherealized wings become, below her wings, are a pair of light grey bat like wings, her hair that was golden in colour, now has etherealized white strands of hair, with the ends of the hair ending up in a light blue colour. Her once green irises, now have an etherealized white starting from around the black bird like slit, and expanding towards the end of her irises, however, just like her hair, her irises edges end up being a light blue colour, her light caramel skin remained the same however, etherealized light grey tribal like markings adorn her skin, further enhancing her beauty.

''Did it work? I don't feel any different?'' Salia said.

''Of cause you don't, after all, everything has just been etherealized , nothing has been materialised yet, because you haven put in any Genis energy, while we all train, you should focus on doing that.'' Eleonor said.

Salia nodded, she then hugged Kaile and kissed him on the cheek while whispering in his ear.

''Thank you.''

She then stepped back a few steps and waved her hand before anyone could say anything, bringing up a realistic hologram of the outside world, with a light blue on her cheeks.

Then the indignant gaze of Sophia layed on the hologram of the outside world, as she asked a serious question.

''How will we stay here without been detected by the sensors?''

It's obvious, the countries will not stop looking for them no matter what, so it's better to have a good understanding rather than guessing, after all to Sophia, it's impractical for Salia's grandfather, to send them here without been able to hide for a long time, and as if to confirm this, Salia speaks up.

''We have a replicator on board the hovercraft, it can replicate food and clothing for all of us, for over 300 hundred years, so this is not a problem, or at least i would like to say that's the case, if not for me remembering something my grand- head butler told me a long time ago, i didn't understand why he kept telling me this useless information, but now i am a bit suspicious.''

''What did he tell you?'' Kaile asked.

''The head butler told me a fact about replicators, he told me if I ever find myself hiding away from the sensors, with a replicator, it won't be me who is found first, but the replicator instead.''

Confused eleonor asked,

''Why?''

''Head butler said, its because everytime the replicator is used, it emits an electrical pulse, which can be picked up by a sensor sweep, he said the likelihood of it happening in low, however with constant usage, and testing in the fields, the longest anyone has gone without been caught is 3 months, during the 3 moths, a peon would hid in a remote area, and once a day, a sensor would sweep the area, on average it took 3 months for the person to be found, 80% of the time, it was because of the sensor sweep.''

''So are you saying we only have 3 months at best using this thing?'' Eleonor continued to ask.

Salia shook her head.

''Not even 3 months, that is, if we don't replicate the anti sensor clothing, we would be detected within a day, if the sensors were to sweep this area, so we need those, also, the government has no idea were we are, so the likelihood of them finding this place and sweeping it, is very low, not to mention, they actively search an area for 3 months because of this survey then move on.''

''So you're saying, even if they find this place, we only need to make do for 3 months, before they move on to another location?'' Kaile asked this time.

Salia, nodded, then shook her head, confusing everyone, she then smiled before speaking.

''No need to worry, the Great mountains, is closer to the X country than anywhere else, the X country is currently under attack by the spider calamity, otherwise, why would my grandfather send us here?''

Emma had a look of realisation as she spoke up with a small smile.

''The age old tactic, of hiding in plain sight within the backyard of your enemy, huh.''

Salia nodded then said.

''The likelihood of us been spotted are close to none actually, it's more likely we will run into those things or an animal, before any other person on this mountain.''

''Oh.'' Eleonor made another noise of realisation, making everyone look at her.

''I forgot, because i thought i would have no need to be causeuse, but now because i am weakened greatly, i just remembered it might not actually be safe to go outside.''

That's when Kaile remembered what the Genis energy is doing to the world's lifeforms.

''Evolution.'' Kaile said, causing Eleonor to nod at his words.

''Use the map to see if any animals are around out hovercraft.'' Emma said to Salia in an urgent tone. As the holographic map was already up.

Outside the hovercraft, the area the hovercraft landed in was a valley in between two towering mountains, within the mountains is a river stretching from one end of the valley to the over end, the valley itself is filled with tall trees in which the hovercrafts shielding crushed mercilessly upon landing, crafting a 10 metre clear radius around the hovercraft, the valley is long and wide.

On one end of the valley in between the mountains towards the right mountain, is the direction of the X country, on the opposite side of the valley, the valley that stretches for a few thousand miles, becomes more and more narrow the close it gets to the left side of the mountain, until it breaks off into two different paths like a forked tongue, one going behind the right mountain, and another going behind the left mountain, both forked tongue paths, are rocky with high walls, the trees within these paths are non existent, the river that goes from one end of the valley to the other, brakes off going completely underground the start of the forked paths disappearing somewhere, the sky seems to be in a perpetual darkness, not just hear, but all long the human continent.
