Chapter 11 Emma's decision I 

The car passed by the grasslands, past the skyscrapers that defy all understanding from the 21 century of earth, and landed quietly at the family home of the Nuit family.

A lot more time passed this time as many teachers were heading home, it took 15 minutes to get home whereas last time it only took 5.

After getting out of the car Emma swiped her light caramel finger across the red door, a sound of it being unlocked was heard from the door.

After a light push Emma and the other two entered the house, Kaile was the one at the back so he ended up closing the door.

He took his coat off and hung it up at the hook just in front of the light brown wooden stairs. He moved over to the bottom step and slowly took his shoes off. 

Emma doesn't allow for shoes to be on inside of the house, so when Sophia had her shoes on up stairs, she was just been sneaky defying her moms orders while at the same time teasing Kaile, wondering if he would actually tell on her, but in the end she left with disappointment as he didn't say anything.

How would she tease him?

Well that's simple, every time Kaile wakes up, he always has hardwood. Ever since he became of the age this has been a problem for him, no matter how much he tries it is impossible to change it so using this Sophia was going to bring it up, if he ratted on her in the kitching.

Unfortunately that never happened, so she didn't bring it up either because instead of teasing him that would then turn into bullying, a fine line that she knows how to not cross.

The soft dark grey carpet snuggled between his toes bringing a smile to his face. Kaile headed upstairs straight away in order to change out from his school clothes.

For Kaile it always feels nasty to him to sleep or keep outside clothes on when in the house.

Therefore he always changes his clothes when he gets home, and depending on if he has plans to go out or not, he will just directly change into pajamas and wear them all day instead, just like now.

Kaile came out of his room wearing a purple bear one piece, looking straight forwards a bright pair of golden eyes were staring right back at him, causing a smile to bloom on his face.

''Were you waiting long?'' Kaile asked playfully. 

''No i just got here.'' Sophia replied to him with a smile as she hooked his arm with her pink one piece bear arm, it seems she finished dressing quicker than him.

Both of them chuckled as they headed down the stairs arm in arm. 

Another method used by Sophia in order to get closer to Kaile when he first come here, was to wait on him at the front of his door like a good housewife, this is the reason as to why she finished getting dressed before him, and also the reason as to why no matter what she makes sure she is always in front of him when entering the house from outside.

Unfortunately for the little Sophia at the time, the places she got the online information from in order to get closer to Kaile were for a completely different topic, but the action and words have become completely ingrained into her bones now, so much it feels completely normal.

So if she ever heard that it was in fact wrong, and for something else entirely, she probably wouldn't care at all.

The two headed down the light brown creaky wooden stairs, a pensive expression appeared on Kaile's face like he was in a life and death situation, the stairs creaked louder and louder the further down they went.

Sophia just watched his serious face with a smile, trying her best to hold in a laughter seen by the fact that one of her light caramel hands was placed over her mouth.

Honestly Kaile's yandere side is clearly showing right now, it's just a pair of stairs! Not a war zone.

But inside Kaile's mind the same worry keeps on playing inside his head. The scene of Sophia and him falling through the old light brown wooden stairs.

Just how would he save her at that time? 

Such a simple thing. 

Yet something that is entirely fatal to a mortal like himself and Sophia.

It's entirely these reasons as to what drives Kaile's overprotectiveness, it can be said that because of the last hint of sadness in his heart, he's unwilling to take any kind of risks no matter how small they might be.

Hence the current situation. 

But knowing Sophia, how could she let a perfect teasing moment like this pass so…

''Ahhh! Brother my foot seems to be sinking into the ground.'' Sophia said with fake worry, anyone with half a brain could tell she was lying just by the tone of her voice, but the overprotective brother was having none of it. 

Sophia has become what one would call a grandmaster in the art of teasing Kaile. 

Her acting skills have improved tremendously throughout the years in order to tease this brother of hers, so when she spoke just now, if she wanted to it would have sounded completely real and legitimate, any random person hearing the voice would have been concerned and curious as to how it was happening. 

But.

Kaile being overprotective maybe he won't understand now but, later he surely will once he thinks back on it, further adding to the tease Sophia brought to him just now.

Such a schemer. To reach such a terrifying level at teasing someone, just how dedicated do you need to be? 

Not only are you attacking him right now, but also in the future once he has calmed down! 

Now it should be understandable how much enjoyment she gets from teasing this brother of hers. 

Kaile without hesitation grabbed hold of Sophia's arm pulling her closer to his chest, thanks to his martial art skills no matter how trashy they may be, he could at least handle this much.

At that moment Kaile didn't realise the deep blush on Sophia's cheeks.

The feel of his warm chest, and over protective arms that covered her whole back and head, made her feel like melting into his arms, her heart rate skyrocketed and she was unable to calm down for a moment.

She completely forgot the fact that by now her trick would have been seen though, right now she should be running down the stairs in an attempt to seek asylum with her mom.

Kaile on the other hand was confused, he was waiting for the inevitable death he envisioned in his mind countless times just now.

So how was he still alive?

Opening his eyes, Kaile found everything to be the same. 

He wasn't falling, and Sophia was safe and sound in his arms.

That's when it hit him, or it should have but it didn't because.

'What's this soft feeling I am feeling on my chest?' He wondered

That's when the realisation struck him, making him blush as he understood what it was, his head was raised and he dared not look down. A certain part of his body became active.

What? He is a perfectly healthy young man after all. 

Sophia was in a bit of a trance enjoying the feeling of warmth, and remembering the days when Kaile used to hug her like this, but ever since they got older he stopped doing it.

She tightened her arms around him, something she managed to do at some point, but then she felt it. She didn't know what it was at first.

Something soft but hard poked at her navel.

Confused and a bit uncomfortable, she moved her hand down to get it out of the way from her hug, thinking it was just a piece of clothing that got in the way.

''Ohh'' Then she heard Kaile, as well as felt it.

Realisation struck her like a truck-kun, making her blush even more furiously, instead of pulling away she instead snuggled her head even deeper into his chest at this very moment. 

It can be said that Kaile, for the very first time in his life, successfully teased the only grandmaster teaser in the entire world.
