The moral side of me won in the end, Tiamat and Alruna were understanding. Yet I wasn't so sure that Selene or Lena would be once they learned of my whereabouts.
Time may have passed differently in Tartarus but several months was still several months. Still I was curious to see why they didn't come kicking doors down to look for me.
'Their confidence in my abilities must be astronomical…'
I looked over to Nyx's sleeping form and sighed. The primordial looked peaceful in her sleep. The rise and fall of her chest as she breathed softly enunciated with her very pregnant belly.
'How the fuck do you keep getting in these situations Blake?' I asked myself.
I had only planned to stay until Nyx had woken up so that I could properly tell her that I was about to leave.
Only, she dropped the bomb on me that our single moment of lust had resulted in her carrying my child. I didn't even know how she had known so quickly.
After that startling revelation I had no choice but to stay, Nyx assured me that a few months in Tartarus was only a few weeks or so on the surface. I really wanted to kick myself in the face but she was still my sister… and I had knocked her up…
'Fucking hell that's really weird to think about.'
Still, the months passed quickly and I had taken the time to explore my new powers. Unsurprisingly my domain of creation gave me access to all my old powers despite not being completely clear on the matter.
I had experimented with what I could and couldn't 'create' and discovered that nothing was out of reach. It truly was a dangerous power at the hands of someone like me. Well, me if I didn't have access to a Gamer System and in turn 'Gamer's Mind'.
I knew that without the hax level of self control that Gamer's Mind gave me then I would be a slave to my impulsiveness. I decided to save the world creation level tests for when I got out of Tartarus.
Instead I turned to my new destructive prowess. I was the top of the top now, even if my level was still low nothing short of another primordial could stop me from doing what I wanted.
On a different note, Nyx had taken it upon herself to teach me about my new abilities and responsibilities, or at least the lack thereof.
A primordial's domains were aspects of reality therefore we didn't really need to manage anything like the regular gods. Especially so in my case since I was now a Primordial of Creation and Destruction.
Sure I could create and destroy whole galaxies but that sort of stuff happened naturally. The most interesting part had been when Nyx taught me about using my wings.
Apparently all the Protogenoi had them and each had their own properties. Mine mirrored my knock off version of The Gates of Babylon. I learned that that is what I had been doing when I had used my inventory to launch swords at people.
My wings despite being made of actual feathers and having a metallic sheen could act as bladed appendages. I could even launch individual feathers like throwing knives.
I was worried that I'd go bald in that department but I found out that the feathers pretty much grew back the second I launched one.
Not all my time in the Mansion of Night was spent exploring my powers. A good fraction had been learning about my extended family.
Many of the primordials had faded a while ago but the few that remained were characters. They accepted me as one of their own which shocked me to no end.
I had expected sneering faces and condescending assholes talking down to me but I guess that being as old as they were they had grown above such petty behavior.
The time finally came where Nyx was close to giving birth and I had enough of sitting around. I had kept track of the proceedings in the over world by having Tiamat and Alruna shadow everyone.
The flying ship that the Greek demigods made had been an impressive sight. So was the Roman camp. I wondered why the Greeks didn't bother making something like the Romans.
It wasn't like they lacked any resources. I learned that while I was assimilating my new primordial status that Percy and Annabeth had fallen into Tartarus together somehow.
Nyx had told me about how they had returned to the surface a day or so before I woke up and that they had reunited with their friends. They were now apparently sailing towards Athens for the final confrontation between the giants and Gaia.
It had taken some time to convince me that they would be fine. To placate my urge to fight Nyx had told me about the Romans heading towards the Greek camp to attack it.
While I didn't have any qualms of killing, a problem arose when it was kids on the other side. Kids that were being led by dumb leaders that didn't know what they were doing outside of fanning their own egos. Pushing all other thoughts aside I focused on my current situation.
I looked around the now barren area lacking any monsters due to me testing out my new powers.
The monsters unfortunately became my unwilling target dummies when I explored the capabilities of my wings. Nyx was by my side looking around as well while supporting her swollen belly.
"We may have to fight the second we surface."
"I can handle myself Blake." She returned.
"You're still carrying my child, all powerful being or not I-
"Our child and I will be fine, let's just go. I can only be gone from my domain for so long." She cut me off.
I took her hand and teleported us directly to the heart of Camp Half-Blood. Weapons were immediately bared towards us before Chiron told everyone to lower them.
"Lord Corvinus, thank gods you're alright." The centaur said.
Releasing Nyx's hand I called forth Tiamat and Alruna before having them guide the pregnant primordial back to my cabin.
"Chiron I see I've missed a lot."
"Quite… I am glad you are still here. You could not have come at a better time. The camp is about to be attacked."
"Romans?"
Chiron shook his head, I frowned. "Lady Selene and Lady Lena convinced them to join us against the giants in the end. Our enemy is a horde of monsters led by Orion and Clytius."
"Isn't Orion supposed to be dead?"
Now Chiron frowned, "Unfortunately he has returned."
"Unfortunate indeed. Well, now that I'm here could you get word out that the demigods don't need to fight. I'll deal with the enemies myself."
Chiron sighed and shook his head, "Giants can only be killed with the cooperation of a demigod and a god working together."
'That has got to be the stupidest thing I have ever heard in my life. Who the fuck even came up with that rule.'
"Still, hold them back for a bit will you. I want to put that theory to the test."
Chiron hesitated, "My Lo-
"Chiron, I have been gone for a bit. Certain things have changed. Let me fight them first and if it doesn't work then and only then will I allow children to fight."
"Very well." Chiron said.
My armor appeared on my body just as the sound of marching monsters neared the camp borders. With a sharp whistle a literal army of hellhounds appeared around me. The campers jumped back in shock.
"Relax guys, they're with me."
My words didn't help much as the demigods still held their weapons close while eyeing the snarling hounds warily.
"Go, flank the enemy." I ordered.
The hounds barked in what I took was confirmation of my orders and dashed off into the shadows cast by the fires. Sky Scorcher shot out of my Inventory and into my hand. My massive wings unfurled from my back, shocking even more demigods. Giving the demigods a wink I jumped into the air to begin my attack.
