With his permission I took of the prisoner rags I was wearing and put on the mail and fur blue armor the man was wearing and grabbed the war-ax next to him.
Once geared I looked over at Ralof who was standing at a locked gate.
"Damn, it's locked!" Shouted Ralof in frustration.
As soon as he looked over to me I noticed the panic in his eyes as he quickly said, "Move, Imperials!"
Turning around I could see three Imperials heading our way through a corridor behind a closed wooden gate.
Seeing them I quickly moved to the right of the door which was a blindspot for the soldiers, I noticed Ralof did the same on the other side and readied his axe.
Taking in deep breaths I heard the pull of a lever as the wooden gate began slowing opening.
Then once the three Soldiers walked through the gate we attacked!
Our axes fell upon two of the imperial soldiers with mine killing a soldier and his only wounding him.
I jumped back as a sword slashed down for my chest.
Looking up I found that it was the Captain who wanted me executed that was trying to kill me!
Before even a few moments passed since she swung the sword, I raised my ax and charged at the Captain and swung down before she could pull her sword back!
But she was fast, she put the sword in front of her pointing at me, causing me to have to redirect my swing towards the sword.
CLANG!
As my ax clashed with the sword and made her arm fly to the side and lose the sword, I tackled her onto the ground and raised my axe to slash down at her head.
But with her sword now out of her hand, she used both arms to grab onto my arms to stop me from killing her.
I grunted as I slowly started to overpower but then I heard the sickening sound of a skull being broken as I watched a sword pierce directly into her skull through the open front of her metal helmet.
Looking up I found it was Ralof who was holding one of the Imperial's swords.
With her hands loosening the grip on me I pulled back away and tossed away the axe before walking over the woman's sword which I flung across the room and picked it up.
"Why the hell do you guys use such weak weapons? Swords are clearly better, they have better reach, better damage, and much better piercing power," I asked Ralof who pulled the sword out from her skull.
"Because they are far cheaper to make since we do not have the recourses to make a large number of Swords like these," Ralof explained.
"I see, anyway if these Imperials were heading this way then perhaps they have the key on them?" I asked Ralof who agreed.
Walking over to the Captain I pulled of her greaves and metal boots and put them on myself.
Reaching into the woman's pocket I found the key we were looking for, a small number of coins, and a dagger which I don't know why she wouldn't use to defend herself while I was on top of her.
"I found it," I told Ralof as I showed him the Key.
"See if it unlocks the door," Ralof told me.
I nodded and walked over to the door and inserted the Key, with a click the door was unlocked allowing me to push it open.
Looking back at Ralof I said, "It worked, let's go."
It seemed while I was not looking he put on the leather greaves the two imperial soldiers wore who was with the Captain.
Greaves offered protection for a person's wrists and a part of their hand and arm.
If a person's wrist were to be cut with a sword or blade then that's one arm an enemy could no longer use to swing a weapon or drawn an arrow.
We walked through the metal gate and found a cart on the other side that held...three cabbages?
Sneakily storing it away into my inventory I followed Ralof as we walked down the spiral staircase until we reached a dead end with there being a doorway to our right.
Walking through the doorway we found ourselves in a long corridor with a door to our left and another door to our left even further down near two more Imperial Soldiers.
As we readied ourselves to fight once more the entire keep shook as the ceiling above the two men collapsed, crushing them to death.
We staggered back to our feet and looked at the rubble blocking our path than at the door to our left.
"Let's see if we can get to the other side through here!" Shouted Ralof as he barged into the room with the sword drawn.
Following along with him with we found ourselves in a large room with two imperial soldiers searching a barrel!
We looked at each other and nodded before we quietly began sneaking over to the men.
But before we could silently and stealthfully kill them one of the soldiers suddenly turned around.
Seeing this we no longer cared about stealth, we charged towards the unprepared men.
The men hurriedly pulled out their swords but they did not have enough time, we were already upon them.
My sword struck down onto the Soldier's chest leaving a large gash going down in his chest.
And Ralof attempted to stab through the chest of the Captain but failed since the Captain managed to pull out his sword in time and clash with Ralof's sword.
While those two fought I took care of the Imperial Soldier I was fighting within a minute or two.
Once done I looked over and found Ralof still fighting with the Imperial Soldier Captain which I soon helped him kill.
With all that done with we looted the room for food and 'Potions' which he said could provide miraculous effects like healing someone at a very fast speed, giving someone vigor and he even told me about something called a Magicka potion, is there magic in this world?
