"So Ailas is a traitor? Somehow I don't believe that. How can our professor be a traitor? If that is true, then why haven't the other teachers reacted?" I asked.

"But isn't he the God of Esoria? It's his job to protect the world right? If Ailas is a traitor and up to something that could completely harm this world, wouldn't it be wise to handle it quickly?" I walked forward then turned around.

Kali looked at us and her left ear twitched. She heard someone running then a woman emerged from the shadows and tackled me. She pinned me down and held a dagger to my neck.

"What the hell..?! Who are you?" I yelled.

'Eh..? This is my target..? I can't kill him. He's-' The woman thought to herself.

Faylen ran to the woman then kicked her off of me. "Hands off him!"

The woman grunted as she stood up. She fixed her mask and dusted herself off. "You must not stop me from completing my mission!"

'That accent..' I thought to myself.

"Tch..you must be working for Ailas. He's the only one who would even think of attacking Academy Students!" Faylen bellowed then summoned her bow.

"Enough talk! If you wish to fight, then I'll be glad to strike you down!" The woman said then dashed to Faylen.

Faylen dodged her attack then grabbed her arm and punched her stomach. "Leon! Kali! Go on ahead!"

Faylen swiftly dodged the woman's strikes then palmed her masked, causing it to shatter. Faylen looked at the woman then looked surprised. "What..? You're..."

"Je dois battre en retraite!" The woman said then threw a smoke bomb down and vanished within the smoke.

Faylen coughed and noticed Ikeshia running to her. "Ikeshia..! Clarissa...she's working with Ailas! We have to stop her."

"Right. I knew letting you follow Leon and Kali would give us a lead." Ikeshia smiled then ran forward.

Clarissa ran through the forest and tripped. I heard a thump and looked back. I noticed it was Clarissa in the same attire as the woman who tried to assassinate me. She looked up and looked surprised. "Mon chéri! You have to help me, please..!"

I walked to her and crouched down. "Why did you try to assassinate me?"

"I promise I didn't know it was you until I saw your face! Ailas-"

"Ailas? What..? You work with Ailas?" I asked.

"Not exactly, he works with my father and-"

A laugh was heard throughout the air. Kali and I looked around then high winds blew. We covered our faces then Ailas appeared in front of us.

"Well...I had my suspicions but now it's confirmed. You are really attached to this human. It is fascinating because this human will be the cause of your death." Ailas said.

"Professor..." Kali said in disbelief.

I looked at Clarissa then back at Ailas. I closed my eyes then summoned my sword. "So Professor, you're indirectly telling me, if I want Clarissa to live, I have to sacrifice all ties with her?"

"Precisely." Ailas said as he adjusted his mask.

I looked at Clarissa then walked to her. Kali watched me surprised. Clarissa looked afraid then I grabbed her hand then picked her up. "I wouldn't mind having one less class to attend."

I dashed to Ailas and slashed down. My sword hit his shoulder and shatter. I looked surprised then Clarissa grabbed my hood and pulled me back, allowing me to avoid being hit by Ailas.

"My turn." Ailas said then held his hand out.

His eyes shined then he fired a massive beam. An explosion happened and he turned away then felt a powerful aura behind him. He turned around then noticed the smoke clearing and Ikeshia standing behind him.

"Well...Seems like you have no heart. Trying to kill your own students. You're pathetic." Ikeshia said then took off her eye patch. She opened both of her eyes then they shined a crimson red. "You'll see why they call me and Feno...Prodigies."

Ikeshia dashed to Ailas and went for a punch. Ailas blocked the attack and slid back. He grunted and noticed her in front of him. He caught her hand then a shadow tentacle wrapped around her leg. The tentacle raised her off the ground then slammed her on the ground. She grunted then smirked.

"What the-" Ailas noticed the large magic circle under them.

"Heavenly Inferno!" Ikeshia bellowed.

The magic circle shined and a large burst of white flames erupted from the magic circle. Ailas jumped back from the smoke and his mask cracked. Ikeshia stood up and the smoke cleared.

I looked at Kali, Clarissa, and Faylen. "We have a clear chance to run! So let's take that chance while we still can!"

They nodded and I ran off then they followed behind. Ailas looked at us then held his hand out to us. He shot a large energy ball at us. The ball exploded and Ailas glared. We stopped and looked back. As the smoke cleared we saw Desiree standing in front of us. Her bat wings uncovered her face and she smirked.

"Ms. Desiree!" Kali said happily.

"I wasn't expecting this at all...A professor turning against his students. I've always had my suspicions when you were teaching. I think I know what you're after also. You're after Destiny." Desiree smirked. Ailas glared at her then she giggled. "Seems I'm correct, not that it's shocking. By acquiring a mecha like her, you'd be unstoppable. Programmed with many ways of combat and sexual pleasure or if you sell her you could gain a fortune. It would be a dream to have her."

"Get out of my way Desiree. I don't have time for your shit." Ailas said.

"Listen up students. There are ways to increase your damage output even if you're weaker than your opponent. To do this you will have to temporarily increase your power level. Leon you have the Azure Form where your entire body is covered in your flames allowing you to achieve a boost of power. Kali, your Song of Might can increase the power level of you and your allies. The two of you make a great team. Do be warned that they are only temporary boosts and can run out. Now go! Hurry and find Destiny!" Desiree yelled.

Kali and I nodded then ran off.

"You've just made a mistake. I hope you're ready for the consequences." Ailas said.

Kali and I stopped at a pond then panted. I sat down on the ground and groaned loudly. Kali looked at me and sat beside me.

"This is total bullshit. Our own professor...The professor that taught me to fight and things like that." I sighed then felt Kali touch my shoulder. I looked at her then she gave me a reassuring smile.

"Listen...I am pretty distraught too but we can't give up! We have a mission to complete! Together..me and you, I know we can complete it." Kali smiled.

I smiled and looked ahead. "Right..." I grabbed my necklace then closed my eyes.

Kali tugged my jacket then pointed ahead. "Leon! Could that be her?!"

I opened my eyes to look at what Kali was pointing at. I saw a mecha girl sitting against a huge rock. I stood up and looked at her.
