Frost's Greed (Marvel)

Everyone follows Xavier, the idealist. Everyone worships Magneto, the extremist. None dare to disrespect Apocalypse, the militarist. But what about the final of the big 4. The one who has lost their students at every turn. The one that walks down the darkest path and is unwilling to put their faith in none outside of their circle of trust. The one that cares not about how humans view mutants nor about the infighting of others. Whose only true care is for the students. This is not a story about her but about a student of hers that believes in her ideas and teachings. Not about peaceful coexistence or mutant supremacy or survival of the fittest. To strive for a brighter tomorrow, even if they have to make it through the blackest night. This is the story of one boy following learning how to be a mutant in a world that hates him under the teachings of the White Queen. He will go from an inexperienced kid to one of the most important mutants in the world ------------ I'm guaranteeing this story for a year, averaging a chapter per day (major holidays may get no chapter or more chapters.) This means that this will be my longest and most secure story, and hopefully the best, on the site. *Warnings! Warnings! Warnings!* - This takes place in an AU of Marvel. So while most things will remain similar to what most people are familiar with, there will be some changes (Some characters being mutants or mutates, etc) - He will start off weak power-wise. He will become very powerful eventually but not for now. He must earn the crowd's favor. - This will be a harem.

Issue #6

Once Jack confirmed his choice, the 4 orbs combined and formed a single black orb that had motes of white light moving around within it. When the orb entered his body, all the heat disappeared and was replaced by a very cooling feeling.

Jack's body began overflowing with power that he had never felt before. He looked within himself and found the complete description of the new power he had gained.

'I can't tell whether I got stronger or weaker. And now it's Spiritual Magic Potential? What's the difference between that, demonic, and normal potential?'

Jack didn't know just how great of e benefit he had received. Both Spiritual and Demonic Potential was much more powerful than normal potential. But if any being could pick between the two, they would surely choose Spiritual.

While both had the same level of strength, Spiritual was much easier to incorporate into one's body. Also, unlike Demonic Magic Potential which got weaker outside of locations flowing with demonic energy, Spiritual Magic Potential kept its strength no matter the location.

Jack enjoyed the feeling of the change for a few more moments before he exited the Dark Zone. Jack was now flying in the air but his wings were gone. Instead, his naked body was floating freely.

Jack's body had also gone through several physical changes. He had grown several inches and his hair had turned white as fresh snow. Jack's eyes also became a piercing, cold blue. Besides those changes was the large black snowflake tattoo he now had on his back.

When he left, he saw the world in a completely different way than before. Thanks to his [Clear Sight], Jack was able to see the flow of magical energy all around him. The energy was flowing through the air and land made for a truly spectacular sight.

'Oh. Now isn't that interesting.'

Jack's eyes landed on the black staff in Ul'ir's hands. This staff had such a concentrated amount of magical energy in it that it was almost blinding for Jack to look at it directly.

Taking the staff into his hands, Jack instantly felt a connection to it. Swinging it around a few times, Jack got more and more comfortable with the staff. It was as if he had been using it for years.

'Oh, yeah. I am gonna have to thank Magik when I get back. This staff and my new powers are worth so much more than the 6 months I have lost in here.'

Jack looked at the frozen castle beneath him as a cold smile appeared on his face. He could feel the life quickly leaving the humans and demons that hid within its walls.

Jack raised the staff in his hand as he focused on the ice beneath him and shattered it. Dozens of lives were taken at once.

Jack went through each and every one of the souls that he had killed but none of them gave him any skills or abilities that were new or truly useful. The best he got saw [Sewing Mastery (Adept)] from one of the humans.

'So that's why they were used as experiments. They had no powers so he was just testing his other things on them. Truly a demon.'

Jack descended from the sky and went into the castle to search through the library now that Ul'ir was dead. But when he arrived, he saw that all of the scrolls and tomes had been destroyed.

The face he made when he saw that could express his shock and disappointment in himself in a dozen different ways.

'Ugh! That demon is still bothering me even after death! If only he died earlier. I wouldn't have needed to go all out and freeze the entire castle.'

Upset about the loss of knowledge, Jack ended up going on a rampage inside the castle. Since he destroyed everything of value, there was truly no point in leaving it alone. By the time Jack had finished his temper tantrum, there was nothing left but rubble.

With no other purpose being there, Jack took to the sky and began to fly back to his original base. What took him a week to travel previously now took him a day. Even if he took into account the times he stopped to check on the survivor groups, Jack's flying speed had improved to over 5 times what it was before.

When he got back to his original location, Jack went to look for the note. But when he saw it was in the same place and did not look like it was disturbed, Jack let out a disappointed sigh.

'They still haven't come to get me? Hopefully, they will be here soon,' Jack silently prayed before he went into his treehouse to get a good nap. He dreamed of a portal opening right in front of him and flying through it with his new powers to show off in front of Emma and the Hellions.

--- 8 years later ---

"Human women! Power! Magic spells! As long as we achieve victory by killing Leviathan and his army, you will get all that you desire!" a pink demon said as he spoke with the army before him in order to inspire them. "We ally with the N'astirh forces of the north and Hilsha forces in the south to finally annihilate Leviathan's forces in the east. We can not fail for he wishes to enslave all of our demons. We demons shall not let a human rule us!"

The demons let out a cheer and battle cry before they charged forward. Two other similar speeches were being made on their sides by N'astirh and Hilsha to their forces. All 3 of their armies charged toward the enemy across from them.

Jack was floating above his small army as he saw the tens of thousands of demons approaching his small army. His numbers only numbered around 5,000 while his opponents have nearly 18 times his numbers.

Leviathan, or Jack, had been accidentally building up his own private army ever since he killed Ul'ir. They thought that since he did not kill them, they were his slaves. They also thought that since Jack took Ul'ir's life, he was also interested in dominating Limbo. So for years, many demons waged wars in Jack's name.

It was not until 2 years before this battle that Jack finally realized that he was the leader of his own forces. That was also the time when he battled against one of the other ruler candidates. After that, it was constant battles between the 4 factions. But the 3 demon factions learned after a couple of years of battles that their forces were being whittled down by Jack.

Thus, this final battle. They knew that their real threat was not the army under Jack but Jack himself. His skill with using his powers and magic had grown to tremendous degrees which threatened them all. The 3 were willing to sacrifice their entire armies if it meant they would be able to slay the Leviathan that preyed upon Limbo.
