Frost's Greed (Marvel)

Everyone follows Xavier, the idealist. Everyone worships Magneto, the extremist. None dare to disrespect Apocalypse, the militarist. But what about the final of the big 4. The one who has lost their students at every turn. The one that walks down the darkest path and is unwilling to put their faith in none outside of their circle of trust. The one that cares not about how humans view mutants nor about the infighting of others. Whose only true care is for the students. This is not a story about her but about a student of hers that believes in her ideas and teachings. Not about peaceful coexistence or mutant supremacy or survival of the fittest. To strive for a brighter tomorrow, even if they have to make it through the blackest night. This is the story of one boy following learning how to be a mutant in a world that hates him under the teachings of the White Queen. He will go from an inexperienced kid to one of the most important mutants in the world ------------ I'm guaranteeing this story for a year, averaging a chapter per day (major holidays may get no chapter or more chapters.) This means that this will be my longest and most secure story, and hopefully the best, on the site. *Warnings! Warnings! Warnings!* - This takes place in an AU of Marvel. So while most things will remain similar to what most people are familiar with, there will be some changes (Some characters being mutants or mutates, etc) - He will start off weak power-wise. He will become very powerful eventually but not for now. He must earn the crowd's favor. - This will be a harem.

Issue #3

Remus brandished her blade before jumping before the Inquisitors, blocking Romulus from being able to attack them directly.

"I'm your opponent, Brother. Leave them out of this," Remus didn't want to get the young women involved. Romulus was her problem, not theirs.

Unfortunately for Remus, the girls didn't think that way.

"Split off! Talon, help out the redhead. Black Cat and Kraven, secondary mutations are authorized. Go, go!" Aero gave the orders. She could sense that the flow of the battle would change dramatically when the newcomers arrived so she changed the combat strategy accordingly.

After Quentin left, Jack showed his appreciation for the girls' loyalty by unlocking their secondary mutations. And of all his students, Black Cat and Kraven had the biggest powerups.

Black Cat's eyes turned golden before she jumped into a group of armed men. As she launched herself into the group, they all began opening fire on her.

Through the bullets and knives, none of their attacks managed to touch Black Cat's skin. Instead, they all ended up affecting their allies.

Black Cat's secondary mutation created a field of bad luck around herself. This caused bad things to happen to everyone or those she chooses within a certain area, which accidentally grants her 'good luck' by default.

So for the bullets that were meant to land on her or the knives that should have scarred her body, they ended up hurting those that were using them or their allies.

On Kraven's side, the young woman created a dragon made of blue aura before absorbing it. After she absorbed it, Kraven ran over to the nearest guards. The men and women fired their bullets at her but each attack simply bounced off of her skin.

Once she was near them, Kraven began to throw them around the warehouse, breaking bones and tearing off limbs with her bare hounds while also spewing fire at whoever was bold enough to try and use a grenade.

Just like Black Cat got a more powerful version of her original mutation, so did Kraven. Originally, she could only mimic the abilities of normal animals. With her new power, she could replicate the standard abilities of any animal she had met or knew well enough.

So since she was using a dragon, it gave her enhanced strength, defense, flight, and the ability to breathe fire. The only downside is that she could only copy the basic abilities of another animal. So if one went through technological enhancement or had a mutation, she was unable to learn those other abilities.

Even still, this made Kraven's battle prowess improve many times over. She was able to assist Talon as the tank of the team, be the damage dealer, or even act as support.

While these two young women were taking most of the attention, the other members of the Inquisitors were standing ideally by. Luna Snow, Aero, and Cylobel were each taking out the guards in quick succession. With their new speed, they would be done with their opponents in barely a minute.

While these 5 were taking on the guards, Talon and Remus had the more difficult task. They were to fight Romulus and his assistant, Daken.

Talon charged at Daken while Remus took on her brother. The battle between the 4 was bloody and brutal.

Since they all had similar powers, claws and healing, it meant that this was more of a battle of willpower. And unfortunately for Talon, she was on the losing end.

Being the youngest of the group, only 16 years old, she had nowhere near the level of experience or pain tolerance as the others. Although her bones were more durable and powerful than Daken's, she just couldn't beat him when it came to experience.

Soon, Laura was on her knees with a claw in front of each of her eyes while Daken held her by the hair.

Romulus saw this while he was battling his sister so he used this as a chance to make his sister lower her guard.

"Heh. That little brat over there has been captured. If you don't surrender now, I will make sure that Daken uses that special knife I gave him to carve up her pretty little face."

Remus didn't respond. She had just met Laura and had no relation to her besides their distant blood relationship.

"Then have him kill her. You will just be inviting the wrath of the Frosts," Remus taunted

Hearing this name, Romulus immediately got rid of the idea of killing Laura and the rest of the Inquisitors.

Jack had been slowly expanding his influence. While the public only knew of Jack as being the leader of the Future Foundation, Romulus was a member of the underworld. Which meant that he was keen on Jack's... darker title.

The White King.

To be a part of the Inner Circle of the Hellfire Club, meant that the person was powerful and ruthless. But to be a King or Queen, meant that they were the most ruthless.

Jack's reputation had been a part of the underworld ever since he had been the leader of the original Hellions. He was known as Emma's Hellhound. Jack had killed so many of Emma's enemies and spilled so much blood that few were willing to go against Emma, simply because they didn't want to be bitten by her dog, not even because of their fear of the White Queen. And after his sudden growth spurt, many thought that he was dead.

The new Jack was the White King in the Hellfire Club. Although he was the White King, no one had seen him be ruthless. Many had assumed that only Emma and Shaw were the threats of the Hellfire CLub's new Inner Circle while the rest were the family members brought in to make sure that no one else with real power could threaten them.

But recently, the truth about Jack's origins had come to light. And because of that, the underworld was in chaos once more.

The great hero, Jack Frost. was actually Emma's Hellhound, Jack Smith.

Thinking about how if those girls were truly under Jack's protection, Romulus wanted to flee immediately.

"Daken! We are leaving!" Romulus decided in a split second

"Really? I had just arrived and the party looks like it is still in full swing," a charismatic male voice could be heard from above

Everyone stopped what they were doing before they turned and saw a man with snow-white hair and blue eyes. Waves of gold air gushed off of his body while killing intent leaked from his body.

Jack's eyes were focused on Daken who was still holding onto Laura.

"Do you want to release my daughter before or after I destroy both of your arms, Akihiro?" Jack questioned Wolverine's son
