Lucius decided to go after her and ask her if she want him gone. Evelyn lay in the bathtub out of annoyance she forgot to lock the bathroom door she keep scolding herself why did she say that to him it was probably because he left her heart hanging he let her sleep all alone last night without even looking back he was indeed cruel she was still on this thought when she heard footsteps approach her she wrapped her hands around her leg pressing up her knee to her chest "your highness you can't just walk in like that learn to respect everyone privacy even if am your wife"
"I came here just for only one reason," he said he responded walking towards her and staring down at her body "why?" Evelyn asks flatly crouching down "I just want to ask you one question" he places his hands on the edge of the bathtub leaning closer "what?"
"Do you want me gone?" He suddenly asks Evelyn seems a little surprised by his question she didn't expect him to say that Lucius searches for answers in her eyes but he finds none "everyone wants a monster gone anyway" he releases his hand and stand right straighten himself before Evelyn could speak Lucius was gone what!!! Where is he it seems like he just disappears is she seeing his illusion now she quickly gets out of the bathtub and grabs a towel wrapping it around her body she was sure he was here just now and he never walks out of the room how did he leave.
Lucius gracefully walks into the throne room his brothers and the princess together with the queen stare at him with hatred but that doesn't matter he is used to it anyway what matters most to him was his wife's fear did she really thinks of him as a monster too he has just shown her his ability inside now she would have been damn curious of what just happened and how he did that as he was walking he heard the maid giggling about his look in the throne room it was princess Maddie personal maids "I love his white hair he is different from others"
"He is tall and white almost pale as snow his red lips are captivating and breathtaking and his grey eyes were like a temple that could make any girl fall at her feet"
"I just can't believe that he is a monster he changes so drastically whenever he is annoyed I wonder what his wife thinks of him" Lucius could hear everything they said about him he has been ignoring his wife lately she has every right to call him a monster only a monster could abandon his wife for days even when she is sick and sleep with his mistress the ceremony isn't crowded as it was a replacement the hall only consists of the queen prince and princess and some of the maid. Evelyn strode into the hall with her elegant red gown few minutes before the ceremony finished and Lucius has crowned the crown prince of Trespia Lucius was lost in the trance of her beauty he has never seen her so beautiful dress not even in their wedding day her blonde hair fall on her shoulder and was style with beautiful hairclips she apply some lotions on her face and red lipstick seeing her queen Bella quickly come up with a plan.
Evelyn's heart accelerated seeing her husband her mind keep drifting back to what he said back in the bathroom 'do you want me gone?' she didn't know why her heart hurt so much almost breaking into pieces did he want to go where is he going and what did he meant by that am I so hard on him or hurting his feelings, I have said too much calling him a monster all these unanswered questions filled her head "what are you thinking princess" queen Bella voice snaps her out of her thought "your majesty" she bow "I heard about what the former crown prince done to you am deeply sorry about that"
"That's bygone" she smile "but don't you think it weird as your husband is using you as a tool to gain power" she flash her a mocking yet annoying smile Evelyn heart pounds she look at Lucius then the queen no she can't just give in to this people they hated Lucius and she know it "am a princess your majesty my father married me off to him to gain alliance and he is my husband who else can he use, you? Or his brothers or his daughter" hearing this queen Bella lip curve up in a deadly smirk she knew this wife, if Lucius won't give in easily a lion married a demon perfect match for each other "and you are okay with the way he is sleeping with Alexa every night Instead of you" She said mockily even though what she is saying was affecting Evelyn somehow but she can't just show her, her weakness never "who else could he have slept with if not his mistress you or... Your daughters" queen Bella became so furious at Evelyn how dare she say that she raise up her hand to slap her Evelyn shut her eyes waiting for the slap but nothing came she then open her eyes just to see Lucius hanging up the queen hands in the hair so annoy his hair was turning dark that's when he realized the only thing he cannot toy with in his life and that's his wife his little brave lion, Lucius violently let go of the queen arms and grab Evelyn right arm dragging her out of the hall.
