Chapter 1: Slam my head and break the system

A young boy groggily opened his eyes in confusion as he felt the winds carrying hints of seasalt.

"Where am I?" He asked himself as his eyes adjusted to his surroundings.

The more he woke up, the more confused he got.

"A cliff? The sea? How did I get here?" The young boy asked himself as he realised that he was in an unfamiliar place.

Behind him was a forest, in front of him was a cliff with the sea beneath it.

"arghh!" The boy shouted as he crouched down, holding his head in pain.

Suddenly memories flushed his head as he remembered who he is, or was, or should have been.

'I am Gol D. Ace? No, Portgas D. Ace?!!!" The boy cried out as memories hit him hard.

He had been transmigrated into the world of One Piece, into the body of Ace!!!

"I don't remember much from my former life..." Ace said as he looked at his hands, the hands of a 3 year old.

Ace looked down at the sea again, but this time he recognised where he was and how he got here, as he remembered himself... or Ace's memories.

"... erm... uhm... System? are you there?" Ace whispered awkwardly in a childish voice... but no one answered him.

"I guess not!" He chuckled. But just as he was going to take a step something appeared in his sight. He wasn't prepared for it so he faltered and slipped his foot.

Just as Ace was falling he saw what had appeared in his sight.

"What the h!" *Smack!* Was heard as Ace fell and smashed his head on the ground. Although it didn't harm him, it made him dizzy.

Somehow, as he smacked his head, that also distorted the system message that he received.

[ERROR! ERROR! ERROR!] A new message came up.

As Ace sat up and as he realised what had happened, his face soured.

"Did I accidentally break my cheat?!" He said in frustration.

"..." Ace couldn't bring himself to say a word as he read on.

"Will I even receive anything?..." He said as he picked the first [ERROR]

Then the system disappeared as if nothing happened.

"..." Ace just sat there with a deadpan face, as if he lost his chance.

"Did I really smack my head so hard that I broke the system...." Ace asked himself...

"SYSTEM GET YOUR ASS BACK HERE AND GIVE ME MY CHEAT!" He suddenly stood up and shouted in frustration, with one finger pointing forward in an accusing manner.

Yet, nothing happened, and Ace fell down to his knees hugging them as he felt his eyes tear up.

Suddenly he felt his body heat up as if he was having a bad fever, yet the warmth felt cooling at the same time.

It felt like a warm energy swam through his limbs, skeleton, nerves and every fiber of his being before clumping up in his stomach.

"Eh, did I get option d)?" He asked himself as he felt his body become way stronger than before.

Feeling the strength his 3 year old body had, he strongly believes that the system had given him cheat d), and although he didn't really get to choose he was very happy that he at least got a cheat.

"THANK YOU SYSTEM, I'LL SLAP AN OLD MAN FOR YOU SOMEDAY AS PAYMENT!" he shouted in happiness.

Suddenly, as he jumped up he felt the warm energy that had settled in his stomach, reaching up to his mouth until he burped a big flame that flew towards the sky.

'What the... did I make a mistake? Did I receive the flame flame no mi?" He whispered as he saw the fire dissipate into the air. The warm energy also dissolved in his body.

Ace looked at one of his hands and felt it become hot, yet in a cool and gentle way.

Seeing that his hands had turned into flames, he at first panicked slightly as he wasn't used to this kind of sight. But he relaxed as he realised that he had full control of the flames.

'This is cooler than seeing it on the screen!' Ace thought to himself.

Suddenly, a black ring fell from the sky and landed on his face, as he was admiring his flamy hands. He barely felt anything.

Ace picked up the ring and looked at it in wonder, which he found out to be a black ring with a black pearl on it. The ring looked like something a pirate would wear.

Ace felt the urge to put it on as he looked at the ring, and as he did, felt something very strange from the ring.

Like it had a will on its own. Suddenly the pearl shot from the ring into the sea and turned into a big black ship, the black pearl!

Ace dropped his jaw as he saw it, he realised what was going on in an instant. Somehow, he had destroyed the system and he got all the cheats...

The flame logia, stronger physique, Black Pearl and the potential Haki of Whitebeard added to his own...

The black ship turned into a pearl once again and flew to his ring.

"I.. wha.. e... what?" Ace couldn't find his words and stumbled as he realised how OP he would get.

'I am the son of Gol D. Roger, the pirate king... If I remember correctly, Garp once commented on the fact that Luffy inherited the conquerors Haki which means that Haki is something you can inherit. I already had the potential to rival the emperors and now with these cheats...' Ace realised his own potential, he couldn't help but laugh.

"I have higher potential than all emperors!" 'which should currently be Newgate, Kaido and Linlin' He thought.

A three year old was standing on a cliff and laughing, this would creep out anyone who stumbled into the scene, yet the fact that he was a cute child made him look harmless in a way.

As was Ace laughing madly, a burst of flames blasted from his shoulders and burned down 5 trees behind him.

"Ooopss, I should learn to control my flames!" Ace said.
