Finding Purpose In The Multiverse: Meta Essence Quest Mode

When I woke up in another dimension, surrounded by nothingness and a ROB. I did not know I would be offered to quest around the multiverse to fix different problems or gain power. But we both knew the real reason; it was more than simply questing across the multiverse. It was my journey to become more and find my purpose. Morning Surprises And Rubber Duck?

(Before we begin this chapter, I am not a specialist in the worm universe's different power levels. Because depending on who you're talking to, entities and end bringers are planetary to multi-universal in strength. I ask that you not judge how I deal with them.)

Entry 21:

Linus Ozias POV:

"Well, this is its 4th week. It's something like destiny because that game's paracausal BS is what I need right now." I say to myself

But yet again, as the clock strikes midnight, new information begins to flood my mind, which makes me quite happy as I have received information from Subnautica.

At least I have many ways to create new materials and explore the ocean floor. And then not even getting into the alien tech. Sadly, I died before any new DLC could be released post below zero.

This is perfect, as I can use the terraforming tech to fix the after-effects of behemoth attacks on various points of land. In addition to the other end bringers, the terraformers and the new ways of holding nuclear energy make fallout virtually nonexistent in Subnautica.

Well then, let's get to work on creating that fabricator." I say excitedly as I feel like a child again getting new toys to play with.

But if I'm going to do what I'm about to do, I'm going to have to get in touch with the mayor again, most likely through Chloe, as she's the one who usually talks to most people.

And after saying that, I immediately realized I am an introverted nerd.

I'm just going to go back to my tech corner now.

Timeskip No Jutsu (Six Hours Later)

Daniel Herbert POV:

I wake up for work, and after taking a quick shower, I head downstairs and see Annette cooking breakfast. As I hug her from behind, I say.

"Morning Ann, all set for work today?"

She responds, but only after shaking me off as she realizes that Taylor is watching us. " Of course, but it is going to be a long day as I have several manuscripts to go over."

I sigh but accept it while Taylor finishes her food and heads out, not before getting a kiss on the forehead that she embarrassingly tries to resist.

"Dad! I need to find Emma as we need to prepare for a school project." She says while trying to escape the now family hug.

"Is it a real project, or are you just prepping for the release of the Final Singularity in FGO?" Annette asks with a knowing grin.

Taylor then runs out the door as we chuckle at her antics.

I have to leave first, so I bid Annette adieu, which she then proceeds to mock my bow, but I know she loves it.

But as I head to the Dockworkers Association HQ, I notice that everyone is panicking, and I pull Rob over from logistics.

"Rob, what's going on? Why is everyone freaking out?" I ask as the man soon answers by simply pointing out the window at the bay.

The pristine blue waters of the bay that no longer look like sewage went to die.

"I am going to have so much paperwork to do." I sigh at my misfortune.

Linus Ozias POV:

I may have gone a bit wild, but the water purifier definitely works better than it really should, which will definitely need to be maintained in addition to the bay itself.

But it will lead to good things, as I have gotten the mayor's permission to strip mine the boat graveyard for all of its materials.

And after I showed him what I did to the bay, he practically looked like I was Jesus Christ Incarnate.

He began to thank me profusely as Brockton Bay was a trade city, and its waters should not look like its waters were poisonous by simply looking at it.

So essentially, it came down to the fact that now the city looks better, and more people will show up and spend money. But hey, alls well; that ends well as Chloe looks at me with as close to annoyance as she can.

I just gave her a ton of paperwork to do, didn't I? Now I feel bad.

(Press F to pay respect to Chloe for doing all of my main characters paperwork)

Although Chloe seemed to want to tear me apart, this was a successful test of my purification/terraforming technology.

Luckily, I don't have to deal with any reporters, as the mayor keeps them off my back. I do own my company, but not many know my actual name.

On another front, the hospital is nearing completion as while I'm not able to use my microbots. I can still use my more advanced construction technology, making building construction barely last a couple of weeks.

And now, with the technology from Subnautica, the process can be streamlined into people's homes, as if they need to repair some machinery, use the Oz Corp Standard Fabricator. It will be limited to basic materials. I do still need to run a business, after all.

Gunna needs to work on that. I'm also going to have to get in contact with power companies for them to update their factories and power plants.

Honestly, it'll be a win-win for everyone involved because they'll. have to hire fewer people, thus spending less money. I'll get paid for them updating their materials using my inventions.

And where will those lost jobs will go? They'll go directly towards my other businesses.

I'm going to need a lot of hands. Because with what I'm planning on building, it will take a while.

I will launch orbital platforms into space piece by piece, similar to a civilization game. And because it's my technology, none of the end bringers can see it within their precog abilities.

Also, I'm taking it another step and cloaking it using. The energies I've been able to scan from the Siberian and Flechette will essentially allow the station to exist outside of the laws of physics.

Soon enough, I can replicate the sting energy the end-bringers use to power some attacks. In addition to any other technologies I can find and adapt to my orbital platforms, as with the current technology, I have means of attacking them through multi-dimensional barriers.

But it's not enough. Because according to the wiki, the entities themselves are the size of planets and have the density of galaxies.

These platforms will take at least a year or two to build. According to the simulations, I must create at least 10 to have enough to end an entity.

Because the entities themselves exist across multiple universes, even if they seemingly have a main body, I will use their connections against them.

The entities operate using a system reminiscent of the Brother Moons from Dead Space. As they work off of a network, even if some go off on their adventures like Abaddon, they're still connected, even if slightly.

" So much work, not enough time. The Simurgh is going to attack another city by next year." I mutter as I attempt to create some alien tech from subnautica.

The main problem with that specific end-bringer attacking is that she will pull the travelers from their Earth Aleph to my Earth Bet.

But the main problem comes with Noelle as she becomes a monster manipulated by Coil, Fuck that guy.

Getting so angry and distracted causes the materials I hold in my hands to be crushed, but I am brought out of my thought process by Cyber, who nuzzles up against me.

I pet Cyber and say, "Thanks, little guy, I needed that, but I'm just so frustrated as another person triggers or dies every second."

Cyber frowns and whacks me on the head as if saying, "Get a grip," but then hugs me as if reassuring me.

His attempts make me smile, as I say while chuckling. "You know you really should go into therapy. You'd make a killing, Cyber."

Cyber then somehow puffs out his middle shape as if attempting to look bigger and smiles.

I then decide to reward the little guy as I pull out a specific disc that Cyber begins to eat, and he soon glows and changes.

Soon enough, his new form is revealed, and Cyber 2 is revealed, and he looks the same yet smooth instead of angular.

[Cyber, you look like a rubber duck] Dread says, which I kid you not, forms a tick mark on Cyber's head as he returns to the digital world and slaps Dread.

I proceed to leave the room to keep them from getting their attention focused on me.

The whole encounter, though, does bring me out of my funk. But I am still right. I do need to quicken my pace as the longer those end bringers of those entities exist, the more significant damage they do.

I definitely do need a distraction, though, so let's take my rage out on some idiotic tech haters, shall we?

Saint POV:

I shiver as I feel a chill run up my spine, and I turn around to see nothing, but it does leave me on edge.

" The stress must be getting to me. No one knows where we are."

But even as I say that all my senses tell me that that's wrong. But I could just be having an off day.

It's not like my entire organization is under threat because barely anyone knows we exist, right?
