Chapter viii

I had nothing to wear for a dinner celebration so i ended up with a maxi dress that was meant for a walk on the beach, i had a slit that went to my thigh. At eight sharp i was knocking on his office door and just them he opened the door, he was wearing a black jeans and white t-shirt, he looked amazing and the fact that he was an inch taller than me made me feast my eyes on his amazing chest muscles. "You look beautiful Lina", "Thank you, am sorry i didn't pack anything for such occasion so i hope my outfit is ok", he looked at me up and down and licked his lips. "It is perfect", he said and we left. On the way to the mysterious location i found out that Kelly also got an emergency and she was unable to join us. It looked suspicious but who was i to comment about it. I was going to enjoy myself i deserved it.

We went to the grill diner obviously. It was amazing the music was awesome and people were dancing, eating, relaxing. A perfect setting. He took us to his office, it was smaller than the hotel one but very organised. "So what do you wish to eat?", he asked removing his jacked and i saw a tattoo on his neck but resisted the urge to ask, besides he would find out i was checking him out. What happened to me not dating anymore urgh! "Surprise me", i said making him smile, that smile gosh. He poured wine for me and left to go collect our food.

We ended up eating the signature burger. It was so good that i licked my fingers when i was done. He looked at me with the same smile making me blush. "That was amazing, thank you", "You are very welcome cupcake", a nickname already? This guy was unbelievable, i blushed even more. "Do you enjoy making me uncomfortable?", i had to ask. He chuckled, i think i just melted, it was the most amazing sound i had ever heard. "No, i just say what i feel. Am sorry if that makes you uncomfortable", he said looking at me in the eyes. "Apology accepted", my answer made him smile.

"So, how is your boyfriend? The one that you father likes", i noticed the sarcasm, so he hated him too, great. "I wouldn't know, we broke up right before i went to study", Tyler's betrayal passed through my mind making me hold on to the glass harder than necessary. A relaxed the moment his huge hand surrounded mine. "Hey calm down. For what is worth i know everything", he replied with a smile. "What do you mean?", "I mean, i know that you tried to help him and i know you were suspended", i was in shock, i felt my chest tightening. He was talking to me but i couldn't hear a thing. "Excuse me", i stood up from the table looked for the ladies room, i went for the tap and splashed water on my face three times, i felt better. I was turned towards very interesting chest, he lifted my chin slowly so that he could look into my eyes. "Sensitive topic?", he asked i couldn't form words so i just nod my head. I was so lost in his eyes that i failed to see him leaning in. Finally his warm lips touched mine, i felt my body shiver as they started to move against mine, it was a slow kiss as if he was testing the waters to see if i would push him away. I moaned and opened my lips for him, he jumped at the opportunity quicker than expected so i guess he was waiting for my green light. He was an amazing kisser, he explored my mouth like he was expecting to be asked question about it later. I was a moaning mess. His hands surrounded my body like a blanket, he held me like he was afraid i would disappear, the act made me feel courageous enough to move my hands to his neck exploring his broad shoulders in the process, it made him moan. I inserted my fingers in his amazing black hair earning another moan from him. I was in cloud nine until we heard someone clear their throat from the entrance. Shit we were in the ladies room, how embarrassing was that, i was a blushing mess but Cheng was just all smiles. "Mrs. Brown, how nice to see you", he told the woman whose smile grew, "Oh no, its nice to see you...now would you kids excuse me? I need to relieve myself", she answered walking in, Cheng interlocked out fingers and nod his head pulling me out if the ladies room and back to our table. I have never been kissed like that like ever. "Whats on your mind cupcake?", he asked pouring more wine in my glass. "Did you give me this job because you want to sleep with me?", my question startled him. The thought crossed my mind but i had to ask. "Well with all honesty, i was not going to give it to you. I have invested in marketing already and i am fully confident in that part. But like you said, no one had ever thought of me as more than a Chef i mean i have been awarded countless times but i feel like what i stand for is lost and now people do things because am Chef Young and not based on my food and i believe you can help me with that. I have feelings for you, i wont deny it but i never mix business with pleasure. But after seeing you that day at the restaurant i just want to find balance, i want you in my life Lina. If you will have me".
