Chapter 22-Passion

As Okara and Crimson appear, descending from the giant explosion cloud. Another body was seen falling with haste. In no time at all the body collided against the ground the moment Crimson and Okara landed.

"W-We... Did it." Okara said breathlessly

As they smirk at each other, barely breathing, but alive.

"That's two... Three more to go." Crimson said as he pushed himself up.

"How much harder, can this get." Okara jokingly asked as he stood up as well.

"...Most impressive, defeating Hylos is know to be no easy task. You should be proud of yourselves."

Okara and Crimson turn their attention to Flyro who descended before them.

"It's almost incredible how strong you two are together. So I'll make you a one time offer, should you accept, you'll get to live a long and wealthy life style. Ruling over worlds and beings like it was nothing! Should you refuse, you can continue fighting till you take your final breath. Now come, and join us! Become stronger, fiercer, become kings among the stars!"

Okara and Crimson stood staring at Flyro with straight faces.

"Do you always talk this much, give us the beans already and lets get on with this." Said Okara with courage in his voice.

"Yeah, we're not some pushovers for you to take control of. We're much more then that! But you're too blind by your own ideals too even see it!"

Flyro scuffed at the heroes before ascending.

"Fine, your decision's made... Gollin, it's your turn! Dispose of these weaklings."

"Wait! What about our reward!" Crimson shouted.

"That was your reward, a chance to live as kings. But you turned it down."

Instantly Gollin bursts towards the heroes and immediately collides against Crimson. Shooting him into a collapsed building.

Okara's eyes shot open as he watched Gollin swipe at his head with his right hand open. Smacking him with the force of a hundred men, then instantly grapples the right side of his head and launches him up into the air like trash. But before Okara could land, Gollin turned and opened his mouth unleashing a giant green energy wave, that explodes on contact with Okara.

"Okara! Nooo!" Cassa screamed which reminded Gollin about her presence. Immediately appearing before her.

"You'll join them soon." Gollin grabs Cassa by her hair and lifts her into the air, before placing his left hand against her body and firing a Ki burst through her body. Knocking her unconscious instantly.

"Hmph." Gollin tosses Cassa's body to the side and looks around to see only he's standing on the battlefield now.

"Flyro, it's done. So lets destroy this pitiful planet and get out of here."

Flyro wasn't paying attention to Gollin, instead he was looking at the beaten warrior slowly stumbling towards the battlefield. Gollin looks at Flyro, then looks in the same direction as Flyro.

"Oh, another weakling appears to die at my hand."

As a raging fire shines along the back of the wounded warrior, his face slowly reveals. Showing it's none other then Arako himself.

"Have you come to die as well!"

Arako didn't speak, instead he reverted to his silhouetted form and instantly stopped moving.

"Come grovel at my feet, and die like your weakling friends!" Gollin begins laughing in excitement as he waits for the wounded Arako to attack him.

Finally he sees the silhouetted Arako slightly morph into his fighting stance, but Gollin's eyes fall tired as he watches Arako fall to his knees, then to the ground.

"Hmph, pathetic." Gollin grits his teeth in anger at Arako's unconscious corpse.

However, while Gollin was distracted Crimson is found by new aid.

"Hey, hey mister." A small bleeding child pokes at Crimson trying to wake him up.

"Come on, mister you gotta wake up." The kid pokes Crimson repeatedly in the face till his eyes slowly open. But the kid continues poking and accidently pokes him in the eye.

"Ah. What the hell."

"Oh, good you're awake. Are you okay mister?"

Crimson blinks a few times to get his eye to stop hurting then finally sees a small bleeding boy before him.

"Y-Yeah don't worry about me. What about you, what are you still doing here?" Crimson looks around to see they're hiding under some of the collapsed debris.

"Wait, where are you're parents?"

The small boy grabs his wound tightly and holds back his tears.

"They're gone, mister. They died protectin me from a collapsing building."

Crimson looks at the tiny boy and puts his left hand onto the boys head.

"What's your name?"

The boy looks at Crimson with a dazed look on his face before speaking.

"My names Landon, what about you mister?"

"Crimson."

"Whoa! That's a cool name."

"...Yeah... Yeah it is."

"Landon, you're a strong kid. But I need you to get out of here, and find somewhere safe."

"I would if I could, but I've got nowhere to go, and I'm stuck down here. I'm not strong enough to move any of this stuff."

"Leave that to me, okay?"

They didn't have enough room, and Crimson wasn't exactly small enough to try and move. Streams of light peered through the gaps of the collapsed debris, metal rods sticking out, jammed into the ground holding the massive blocks of concrete over them. But while Crimson examined the breathable room, Landon was slowly bleeding out, and Crimson could smell it.

"Okay, lets try this." Crimson laid on his back and instantly pushed up on the heavy concrete above him.

"Wait! Don't, if you move that the rest will collapse on us."

Immediately Crimson retracted and thought of another plan. Looking over at Landon, who was only an arms reach away. Examining his bleeding wound, and rich blood leaking from it.

Crimson could feel the beast inside, telling him... It's the only way.

"Landon..."

"What is it, Crimson, sir?"

"I need you're help."

"With what?"

Crimson pulled his left arm up and pointed at his bleeding wound.

"I need, some of your blood."

Landon looked scared and confused by Crimson's request.

"Landon, please. You're strong, you've lasted this long on your own, on this hellish battlefield with death dangling over you. Right now you're going to die if you continue to sit there and bleed out. But I need you to be brave, and trust me. I can save us, so please. Landon. Give me some of your blood."
