Raiden surveyed the devastation he had wrought, then turned to the panting Kori, who had been standing on Trogaar's corpse, and said,

"Are you okay?"

"No, I'm not. THIS, AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, THIS BASTARD," said Kori as she stabbed him again and again.

Raiden watched her mutilate his body for a few seconds, then decided to interfere. He grabbed her and dragged her away, saying,

"It's over, Kori! Please stop."

"NO! NO! IT'S HIM! THE CITADEL! ALL OF THEM AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, WHY, WHY! CHILDREN! ELDERLY! THEY KILLED THEM ALL," screamed Kori. But instead of anger, it was sadness that controlled her heart as she wept in Raiden's chest. After escaping and killing Trogaar, it finally dawned on her.

"There's nothing left, Raiden… It's all GONE! Everything I've worked to create! We've worked to create, the entire Resistance! It's all GONE! What am I going to do?" wept Kori as she poured out her heart to Raiden.

"Come with me," said Raiden in a serious tone.

"What?"

"Come with me, leave with me, Kori. We'll travel to Earth," said Raiden.

"What!? NO, I can't just leave with you, RAIDEN!" said Kori as she pushed Raiden away.

"Kori, I can see the pain in your eyes. The weight of your people's hopes and fears rests on your shoulders. But it's over, Kori. You can't face the Citadel alone. It is a path that will only lead to your death or something worse!" explained Raiden.

"RAIDEN! The Citadel took everything from me! They took away my home! My people! If I leave, there won't be anything stopping them from fully taking over Tamaran! I won't let the Citadel destroy what's left of my home. I can't abandon my people," said Kori, angered by Raiden's suggestion.

"And you won't, Kori. But you can't save them alone. If you come with me, we can find allies, gather strength, and face the Citadel together. I promise you, once I'm strong enough, once my power is fully under control, I will come back with you, and we will free Tamaran, and not just Tamaran! but all of Vega!" said Raiden, trying to make Kori see reason.

"Why? Why do you even care? You're not from here! You dropped down from the skies six months ago! How can I even trust you?" said Kori, trying to find reasons to doubt Raiden.

"Because you love me, Kori, and because I love you too. I can't stand seeing you in pain. I will do everything to make sure that you regain your home, Kori. But for now, we leave so that we can one day come back stronger," said Raiden.

"I can't just turn my back on my people. They look up to me for guidance," said Kori with sadness in her voice.

"Kori, if you stay here, you will die, made an example of, and the Citadel will snuff out the light of resistance in the people's eyes. But if we leave, we will come back," added Raiden.

"I can't let Tamaran fall, Raiden. You must keep your promise. I'll help you reach whatever heights of power you wish to reach, but Tamaran must not be forgotten," said Kori, pleading with Raiden.

"I swear, Kori. Tamaran will be free. And we'll free it together. We'll face the Citadel, and we'll bring peace back to your people," Raiden spoke as he hugged Kori.

Kori held him tight as she said, "Okay, let's go."

"Follow me," said Raiden as he took her to the ship's location.

 …

(A/N I shot myself in the foot by naming Kari, so instead she'll now be known as Cary, that way you won't be confused with her and Kori, and so won't I !!)

"PRINCESS KORI!" Cary rushed to hug Kori.

"Cary!" screamed Kori as she hurried to catch her and raised her in the sky, spinning her.

"You're okay! I'm glad," said Kori. She then looked around the ship, trying to find someone. She turned to Raiden in panic as he moved his head left and right.

"Oh god no, Cary," said Kori as she hugged Cary tighter. She had realized that Nori didn't make it, and she felt sad for Cary.

"It's okay, Princess. Mommy is in heaven now, with X'HAL! She told me to be ready for a day such as this. I shouldn't have cried. I only upset Brother Raiden! From now on, Cary is going to be filled with hope in her heart, just like mommy said!" spoke Cary, shocking both Kori and Raiden. Raiden was about to move and say something, but Kori took the initiative.

"No, Cary! You are not upsetting anyone. We love you and care for you, and we'll help you in whatever you need, no matter what. You can rely on us. Nori was like a sister to me and to Raiden as well. She cared for us, so we will return the favor to her by caring for you. So, don't feel the need to change or become something you aren't, okay, baby?" said Kori.

"Okay! Then please, Miss Kori, Mommy wanted me to be smart. Can you teach me?" said Cary.

"Yes! YES, OF COURSE! I will teach you about everything!" said Kori, excited by Cary's desire to learn.

"And I'll continue teaching you magic and much more. If there's anything you need, just ask me, okay?" said Raiden.

"Okay! Thanks, Brother Raiden! Princess Kori!" said Cary.

"Call me Sister! Sister Kori," said Kori. She got a bit jealous of Cary calling Raiden brother, so she wanted it too.

"Okay, Sister Kori."

...

"So, where to?" spoke Raiden.

"Huh? Aren't we going back to your home?" said Kori.

"Yeah, I know, but it's not like Earth is close, and we still need that Radion energy thingy you told me about."

"Radion Crystals, yes. Well, we can still travel here in the Vega system, and where else would we go than the planet with the most riches and natural resources. However, it's filled with the Citadel's soldiers; they occupied it long ago," said Kori.

"That won't stop us as long as we're careful. We need those stones to leave the Vega System anyway, so we'll have to do it."

"Okay, but don't forget, Cary is with us. We have to keep her safe no matter what."

"Of course, if I sense that we're in imminent danger, we'll escape. So, where is this place?" said Raiden.

"We are going to planet Karna!" said Kori.

"Well, let's get to it then. Put the coordinates in the navigation system," said Raiden as he hopped into the pilot seat.

"Sister Kori, can you please drive?" said Cary.

Kori turned to Cary, confused, and tilted her head.

"Brother Raiden almost hit three trees when we were taking off last time, and he couldn't even park it correctly," said Cary.

"What? Hey, I was stressed out!" said Raiden.

"I think you are just a bad pilot, Brother Raiden," replied Cary.

"Okay, Captain Cary said I'll pilot, so move out of the way," said Kori.

"YOU! Come here! TICKLE ATTACK!" said Raiden as he chased after Cary.

"AGHH noooo."

Kori smiled as she sat to drive the ship.

"Here we go."

"It doesn't make sense for the entirety of the northern bases and fortress to go down like that," said a man wearing the Citadel's highest-ranked stars on his left.

He then grabbed a picture and looked at it. Raiden Kagawa, The Resistance's Ghost... huh, what a load of nonsense. No Ghost can wreak that much havoc. "You are a monster!" said The High Council Man, the current leader of Tamaran.

He grabbed his communication device and activated it, contacting a very strange robotic voice.

"Who is it?" (Anonymous Robotic voice)

"I would like to place a bounty on someone."

"Name, picture, origin, race, crime, last seen. Provide all these." (Anonymous Robotic voice)

"Target one: Raiden Kagawa. Earth. Human. Rebellion/Murder/Terrorism. Leaving Tamaran.

Target Two: Princess Koriand'r. Tamaran. Tamaranian. Betrayal/Terrorism/Rebellion. Leaving Tamaran."

"Price." (Anonymous Robotic voice)

"100 Million Cid. I would like a special request."

"What is it?" (Anonymous Robotic voice)

"Make sure this bounty contract goes to that crazy bastard first."

"His fees are double of what you have offered." (Anonymous Robotic voice)

"It doesn't matter. Just make sure it's him."

"Understood." (Anonymous Robotic voice)

*Click* The conversation ended as the High Council man smiled and said, "Let's see you survive this, Raiden Kagawa."
