"Astoria?" Cynthia asked raising her eyebrows when George's car stopped at the entrance of the hotel.
"Mhm," he confirmed while sending a text message to someone.
She couldn't believe she was absent minded to the degree where she lost track of the road and where the two of them were heading. He placed the phone in the pocket of his trousers and then looked straight at her, "Just give me one more hour, it's not even dark outside," George said flashing a dimple under two sparkling eyes.
Cynthia felt like she was being swept by the avalanche again. The man next to her was always one force of nature or the other. She'd barely snapped out of the making out session she had with her husband not one hour ago, and now, he was asking her to give him one more hour in the hotel where their company had permanent suits? Her husband's intentions couldn't become more obvious!
She had to give him a reality check.
