Chapter 59: Short story about her.

Calcel looked at May not believing what she was saying.

" May , What do you mean by seven years. It's not yet even year ever since we met. " He argued.

May chuckled. " It's because you've never loved me. And you've never cared anyway , How could you remember me ? " She asked.

Calcel just looked out of words .

" Don't you remember that fat young girl who confessed her love to you in high school seven years ago ? " May asked.

Then Calcel's memory went back as he tried to figure out.

Seven years ago , He was just from abroad when he joined highschool. Because of his handsomeness many girls had a crush on him and many of them had confessed but he used to reject them. Then there was this fat girl who had become his friend from school . They became friends when he failed some assignment and the teacher asked him to go for consultations from the fat girl who was nicknamed as FM meaning Fat May .

Because of the nickname , Calcel never focused on focusing her name. He was sitted in class with his friends when the teacher approached him and asked him to go to his office.

In the teacher's office.

" Sir , Why did you call for me ? " Little Calcel asked. He was 17 by then.

" Look , You failed all the work , How do you expect me to explain this to your father ? " The teacher was angry at him.

" I didn't have enough time to do it so I asked my friends to help me. " Calcel answered arrogantly.

" That's why you will continue failing unless you become more serious. " The teacher argued.

Then FM came in the office.

" Sir , You called for me. " The little far girl said to the teacher.

" Yes , Sit sit please. " The teacher asked the young girl.

The girl sat down

" This Is Calcel. I want you to help him finish his assignments. Make sure he passes. " The teacher said to the little May.

" Okay sir. " May said with a smile and turned to look at Calcel.

" My name is May..It will be fun studying with you. " May said giving her hand to Calcel for a handshake.

Calcel looked at her with a chuckle and said nothing rejecting her hand.

" It's okay , I need the assignment by next week.." The teacher told them and released them.

From then , Little May could help him with work . It was after that week when May confessed her feelings to him. They were done doing some work when she said.

" Calc...I actually want to tell you something. " May said.

" What is it ? " Calcel asked arrogantly.

" I like you. Will you be my boyfriend ? Little May asked with a smile

On hearing her , Calcel burst out into laughter.

" Who would want to be boy friend to a fat ugly girl like you ? " Calcel asked her and left her .

May cried that day and she never talked to him again after that day. Calcel was never bothered by that , They were just having one year to sit for their final exams.

Before joining college , May told her mother that she wanted take pills to reduce her body. Her mother was at first not pleased with this idea but when insisted on that , She finally allowed her to and this was what May had grown up into. A very beautiful woman , She was just enough.

As Calcel remembered the story of the fat girl , He now realised that this was May. Yes , She must be the one.

" So , You mean that you are....." He didn't even have the guts to complete the question.

" It's FM , Fat May . The girl you rejected because she was fat. " May said in tears. "

" My God ! How couldn't realize it from the beginning. " He gasped.

" I think I have said all I had to say. I have done everything for you but if you still can't like me , Then I have no other option. I am quiting. " She said again and then left the office.

This time Calcel didn't stop her. He heaved a heavy breath and walked back to his seat.

May dashed to her office and started packing everything that belonged to her. She was doing so when she saw Calcel's photo. The one she had kept for sometime in her drawer.

' Calcel , Don't think that I am quiting yet. I am going to surely find that person whom you like and I destroy her. I can't lose you after sacrificing everything for you.." May swore and kept the photo in her hand bag.

She was there when a worker entered her office.

" Ms , The car is ready. " The man told her.

" Help me carry my stuff. I will get you there. " May told the man.

" Okay madam. " The man replied back and left her office.

Alyssa had gone back to her office. She put the files down on the desk when she was there and sat on her seat.

' Is there something going on between Calcel and May ? ' She asked herself remembering what she just heard from the conversation between the two. ' Why am I bothered anyway ? ' She chased away the question from her minds and focused back to her work.

' Knock ..knock ' She heard from the door.

" Enter ! " Alyssa said.

Then it was May. She entered slowly. Alyssa wondered what she had come to do. May sat on the visitor's seat.

" Greetings Ms Alyssa. " May greeted.

" Yes. What is it ? " Alyssa asked.

" I actually want to talk to you after work. Will you be free ? " May asked.

" Is it something personal ? " Alyssa was confused.

" Of course. " May said.

"...fine. "

" Let's meet at Premium Cafe. I will be there by 7. " May said.

Alyssa looked at her watch. " Fine , Meet you there then. " She told May.

" Thank you so much Ms Alyssa. " May said smiling.

" It's nothing. See you there then . " Alyssa said smiling back.

When May left , Alyssa leaned back on her chair and wondered why May wanted a personal talk with her that moment. It's not that the two were very close to each.
