Chapter 154: I won't stop you.

Calcel drove back to the Mansion on a very high speed. He couldn't wait to tell this to David.

When he arrived he hurried out of the car and stormed inside. " Calcel, What have brought you back so fast ? " Jenny who was setting David's breakfast asked.

the other few maids who were around also saw him and become frowned. Everyone could notice that Calcel was very angry at moment through his fireballs.

" Where is father ? " Calcel asked.

" He was at the hospital the whole night so he just went to refresh. What.." Jenny was still talking but Calcel didn't give her a chance to finish as he walked past her in hurry to David's room upstairs.

He opened the door without a knock. David was inside and he was just in front of his dressing mirror putting on his coat. He turned on hearing the door open.

" Calcel...I thought you went to the hospital. " David was surprised to see him.

" The day Alyssa died.....you were at the hospital with May..right ? " Calcel asked ignoring David's question.

David wondered why Calcel was asking this and besides that he looked very angry.

" I was with her. What's wrong ? Why are you bringing that now ? " The old man asked.

" Because it's May who killed Alyssa..." Calcel declared at this point the tears he had stopped were back.

" Huh...." David chuckled in disbelief. " Which nonsense is that ? May killing Alyssa ? No...You had it wrong..." David argued making Calcel more hurt.

" Father, I heard her say it with my own tears. she did.." Calcel cried.

" But...." David muttered and then remembered that day.

He was with May at the hospital when he received a call and excused himself from Alyssa's room leaving May there. It had been just a few minutes when May came out crying that Alyssa was not well.

" Huh..." David sighed after remembering and his eyes teared up too.

" It's possible...I have remembered. I was there. " He said.

" Father, How could she have blinded us all this time ? " Calcel asked in sobs.

David knew he had no choice but to calm him down. He walked towards him and hugged him allowing Calcel to cry out all his tears to his shoulders.

" I am sorry son. It was my fault. I shouldn't have forced you to marry her..." David spoke too in sobs.

After sometime of crying the two men sat down to talk about it.

" So what are you going to do about this ? " David asked looking at Calcel.

" Father , I am disappointed and confused. I don't know what to do. " Calcel spoke. His gaze was into space and one could really see that he was in thoughts.

" Everything you decide to do. I will support you. " David said making Calcel to look at him.

" Father....I can't handle this. I want to divorce her. " Calcel said in a murmur.

David smiled and said. " Let's do that then. " To Calcel's surprise David didn't argue.

" Father , Do you really agree to my decision ? " Calcel asked to make sure.

" Mmmm.." David said with a smile.

" Calcel...I've been tied up to Cynthia because she knows that you are brother's child. And in order to keep it a secret, I promised her that I will make May my daughter in.law. " David begun narrating while Calcel listened attentively.

" In the past, I didn't care about you love and the only thing I cared about was me becoming the Mayor. Because of this, I made the woman you could loved your step mother and forced you to marry someone you didn't love. All because Wanted to become the Mayor. Look at me now, I have had everything I wanted but then made you a miserable son.." David begun sniffing as tears begun escaping from his eyes slowly.

" I have helped my citizens and served the country to my best, Yet my son he has been here being hurt . " Now David burst into tears.

" Father don't say that. You have been the best father.." Calcel implored.

" No dear. Let's do the right thing this time. Even if I lose my position, I will be happy to see you happy again. And if possible, I would be the happiest if you love another woman the way you loved Alyssa. " David said.

Calcel smiled in his tears and David did the same.

The two came out of their room after settling everything.

They had to go for the brief burial of the baby and after it May went to her mother's car. There is no way she could go back to the Mansion.

David went to talk to Cynthia . She was a little embarrassed when she saw him walk towards her.

" I guess you know that I know everything already. " David spoke to her.

" Well ,I am sorry tbsty daughter did that to you. " Cynthia spoke.

" So , You know what is next. My son can't have a murderer for a wife. They have to divorce as soon as possible. " David said.

" Since she will no longer be your daughter in law, I guess you are ready to let the public know that Calcek is not your son either. " Cynthia said shamelessly when David smiled.

" Do as you with Ms Cynthia. Right now , I want my son's happiness. Even if I am no longer the Mayor , I will be happy as long as Calcel is. " David said and then smiled again.

" And by the way, You should be glad that i am not going to have May jailed. At least thank me for that. " David spoke lastly and then walked away.

Cynthia swallowed hard as she had no say. She would she took part in it and if followed up she would get affected in it too.

Cynthia went back to their car and sat behind with May.

" Mom, What did he say ? Did they forgive me ? " May asked impatiently as soon as Cynthia had sat down.

" Prepare to sign the divorce papers. We have no other choice. " Cynthia said solemnly.
