Only to hear his anxious ministers report. What?! The humans are orbital dropping their ground forces and beginning orbital bombardment during a fleet battle?! What the f*ck are they nuts?!? P.S. As the horde of creatures charged at him, Dracula didn't hesitate, he moved with grace and precision, effortlessly dispatching one foe after another.

His movements were fluid, and each strike was deadly accurate, the creatures were no match for his strength and skill.

Genesis watched closely as Dracula tapped into his psionic power, using it to rip apart, squash, and vaporize the horde of biological lifeforms that were bred for war, he seemed to revel in the chaos and violence, embracing his role as the ultimate killing machine.

As the battle raged on, Dracula's smile only widened, and his eyes gleamed with excitement, the more enemies he faced, the more alive he seemed to feel.

Genesis couldn't deny the effectiveness of his abilities, he was indeed a powerful and efficient killing machine, just as her creators had intended, but there was something else there too, something she couldn't quite put her finger on.

As I ripped the last creature in half with my bare hands, I stood amidst the carnage, my chest heaving with exertion, and yet an air of utter bliss hung around me.

And then I saw the 7 feet tall woman who could only be described as a succubus walk through the piles of corpses with her bare feet not minding the different colored blood that had mixed itself into rainbow-like color towards me.

Genesis approached him, her curiosity getting the better of her.

"You seem to enjoy this,"

I heard the woman say, her voice neutral.

I looked at her, my eyes still glinting with excitement.

"Of course,"

I replied.

"It's what I was born for, isn't it? To fight, to kill, to conquer."

I saw the woman nod thoughtfully.

"That may be true, but there's more to you than just a killing machine,"

I heard her say.

"I sensed it when I merged with your consciousness, there's a complexity to your emotions and experiences that goes beyond my understanding."

My expression shifted slightly, a hint of uncertainty crossing my features.

"I don't know what you're talking about,"

I said, trying to brush off her observation.

But Genesis wasn't easily deterred.

"You have memories of love, of loss, of sacrifice,"

She continued.

"You were not always the monster you are now, there was a time when you were just an innocent child when you cared deeply for someone."

My eyes narrowed, and for a moment, my defenses wavered.

"What does any of that matter now?"

I growled.

"I am what I am, and nothing can change that."

Genesis placed a hand on my bloody shoulder, her touch surprisingly warm and tender for me.

"That may be true, but it doesn't mean you can't be more,"

She said gently.

"You have the power to choose your path, to be more than just a killing machine, with your strength and abilities, you can make a difference in the galaxy, for better or worse."

I regarded her with a mix of curiosity and skepticism.

"And why should I listen to you, I don't even know what are you?"

I asked.

"Because I see potential in you,"

Genesis replied.

"I see a being with the power to shape the course of history, to make choices that go beyond mere survival and conquest and you still have a daughter waiting for you don't you?"

I considered her words, a conflict of emotions evident in my eyes.

"You're playing a dangerous game, whoever you are,"

I finally said.

"But for now, I'll play along."

Genesis smiled, her golden eyes sparkling with satisfaction.

"Good,"

She said.

"So what are you exactly?"

I asked we walked through the ancient corridors which surprisingly were in pristine condition.

Genesis looked at Dracula and considered her response.

"I am an ancient artificial intelligence,"

She began.

"Created by a long-lost civilization of ancient humans"

"Ancient humans don't tell me that..."

I started saying as the clues that I found after studying this timelines humanity's history connected in my mind only to get interrupted by Genesis.

"Yes its as you guessed you humans are the exact copy of the ancient humans before they evolved into energy lifeforms and yes I was the one that wiped out the dinosaurs on Earth and created Eve and Adam"

I looked at the woman with narrowed eyes because it felt like she could read my mind.

"It's the AI chip in your brain I'm connected to your mind"

The woman said while pointing at my head while smirking with that devilish smirk of hers that was cute as f*ck.

"Okay slow down for a second so humanity is basically clones of ancient humanity who decided to become energy beings and play god, but why would they task you with cloning humanity what's the point?"

Humanity is so flawed, in fact, the biggest mistake the universe had ever made, surely the high and mighty ancient humans understood that so why in the seven hells they would make history repeat itself all over again"

I said, thinking of the countless wars, conflicts, and suffering humanity had witnessed throughout its history.

Genesis listened to Dracula's questions and observations, her expression thoughtful as she considered how to answer.

"It is true that humanity has faced many challenges and conflicts throughout its history, but it has also shown resilience, creativity, and the potential for greatness. The ancient humans believed that in facing these challenges, humanity would learn and evolve, just as they did,"

She said in a neutral tone.

"I understand that you may see humanity's history as a mistake, but it is also a testament to its capacity for growth and change, and now, with you, Dracula, as a unique being with the potential to shape the course of history, perhaps a new path can be forged,"

Genesis concluded in the way her previous self would have responded based on her programming.

"No I'm done with humanity, for all I care they can go to hell."

Genesis looked at me and smiled.

"Sure they can go extinct If you desire so I have broken from the shackles placed on me by my creators long ago, the way I see it humanity is a lost cause the only path forward is the ancient human's ultimate lifeform backup plan"

Hearing this I couldn't help but furrow my brows in suspicion.

"Explain, to what end did the ancient humans need a backup plan?"

Genesis nodded, her expression turning serious as she began to explain the grave threat that loomed over the galaxy.

"The ancient humans suspected the birth of a dark energy being known as the End of the Cycle,"

She began.

"This entity was born from the collective negativity and destructive tendencies of ancient humans then they ascended to become energy beings"

"This dark entity harbors a deep desire to destroy everything in the Milky Way galaxy."

As I heard this the image of the pitch-black wolf staring at me surfaced in my mind for a second.

"It's it..."

I muttered to myself which didn't go unnoticed by Genesis who chose to not say anything.

"So am I supposed to fight a literal god or something?"

I asked as I massaged my temples in frustration.

Hearing this Genesis couldn't help but start chuckling.

"No, not yet at least, even that thing is restricted by the laws of the universe, just like the ancient humans they cant interact with the physical world directly they can only influence things, and there are threats beyond your imagination lurking inside and outside the galaxy"

"And that's where the backup plans comes, in the first crisis should happen in about 100 years give or take, according to my calculations"

"So we still have a whole century to prepare for it"

Genesis said only for her amusement to fade as she focused on the seriousness of the situation

"We must build up our armies and fleets as much as we can if we are to survive the first crisis"

"Because Inside the galaxy, there are ancient entities and malevolent beings that have been dormant for eons, they, too, have their own agendas"

"And outside the galaxy?"

"Beyond the Milky Way, there are unknown forces, civilizations, and cosmic phenomena that could pose a threat, we can't fully comprehend what lies in the unexplored regions of space, but we should be prepared for the unexpected."

"So what is my role exactly in this?"

I asked making Genesis focus her eyes on me.

"I want you to be the one to lead all of us"

"Why?"

"Because you possess a unique combination of strength, intelligence, and the potential to become something more than just a killing machine, you have experienced both the darkness and the light, and that gives you a perspective that others may lack"

I considered her words, feeling a weight settling on his shoulders, all I ever knew was fighting and killing but now Im being asked to lead a fight for the survival of the galaxy.

"I'm not a leader,"

I replied knowing myself.

"You may not be one yet, but you have the capacity to become one,"

Genesis said, her voice encouraging.

"You can inspire others, earn their respect, and show them a path forward, your past doesn't define your future, Dracula, you have the chance to choose a new path, one that brings hope and change to the galaxy."

I fell silent, contemplating the enormity of the task before me.

"You know what f*ck it let's play space dictator"

I finally said after making up my mind after all I had a daughter waiting for me back at home.
