Chapter 27 The Divine Soul Perception Technique

Liang Chen immediately recovered and said. "What are you saying, brother Wei! Ying'er has been my childhood friend since we were kids!"

When Liang Chen said that, Xiu Ying frowned slightly, you could see she is trying hard to smile. Unlike Liang Chen, this was noticed by the 3 immediately. They now understood it was not that Liang Chen was chasing Xiu Ying, in fact, it was the other way around!

As for hand forms, it includes the Yang Needle Fist, Wu Jin Ji Palm, Wu Jin Ji Claw, and Hook Fist. The other disciples, including Xiu Ying, are bemused by some of the other stances and hand forms Liang Chen practiced but they know it is not simple, especially the power he displayed earlier.

Days passed by and Liang Chen was able to familiarize himself with the Unlimited Extreme Fists. He only lacks actual combat. Though he runs simulations within his mind and does shadowboxing with the help of the Universal Guide, all of them are predetermined opponents. Back on earth, one of Liang Chen's teachers said. "In real life, a school only provides 10% and 90% of the experience comes from the outside world." He believed it was true since he had experienced it before. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in arts and science, however, due to unemployment, he ended up as a delivery man using an online app. When he got a job befitting his college degree after 6 years of waiting, he got a position as an Information Security Analyst, he doesn't know shit. Whenever he has a question, thanks to the Universal Guide's explanations, it didn't take much time for him to understand the fundamentals of the technique. In just one full day, his spirit sense range expanded a realm above him. A Mortal realm cultivator has a spirit sense range of 5 meters and a Qi Refining realm cultivator has a spirit sense range of a small house. Liang Chen's spirit sense range is as large as a mansion which is the same as someone in the Foundation Establishment realm. Together with the Shadow Veil Stealth technique, he can sense everyone within the dorms right now and nobody would know he was peeking. He saw one disciple sleeping spread-eagled on a bed, another disciple doing his horse stance who seemed to have seen him in the training hall, and another disciple sitting in bed sniffing someone's dudou. Liang Chen made a disgusting face when he saw the last one and decided to leave that person alone. How the hell did he get that anyway? The female yard and dorms are guarded by a dorm housekeeper and that aunty was at the Foundation Establishment realm.

After gaining familiarity with the Divine Soul Perception technique, the Universal Guide told him to take out the 3rd eye of the 3-eyed bear and some spirit herbs he took from the herb garden.

"I will guide you on how to create a Soul Mending pill. This is a tier 2 pill. With your attainment in alchemy as a level 1 Pill Master, you have a 90% chance of creating this pill and becoming a level 2 Pill Master. After that, you will extract the qi from the 3rd eye and consolidate your spirit sense. This will hurt a lot and damage your sea of consciousness."

Liang Chen was surprised by what the Universal Guide wanted him to do. Although he has faith in the Universal Guide, he still asked. "Do you think I can handle the pain? This is my sea of consciousness we are talking about."

"You are a reincarnator and your mind is as strong as a 40-year-old man. Also, you have cultivated till the Qi Refining realm, so your mind is strong enough to take it. The Soul Mending pills will be an assurance in case something bad happens." The Universal Guide said.

Liang Chen gave a weird look. He did not expect to be called a 40-year-old by someone. While it is technically true, since he died at 26 back on earth and he is currently 14 years old now, he hasn't experienced anything being at that age yet.

"Alright, let's do this." Liang Chen said and let out his cauldron.

After a few hours, he was able to produce 27 Soul Mending pills. 9 of them were medium-grade pills, the 3rd batch was made of high-grade pills, and the last batch was perfect-grade pills. Liang Chen suddenly became downhearted when he realized that the Universal Guide has been spoon-feeding him. He didn't care before but now he can't get excited about attaining a level 2 Pill Master. He felt like he cheated. It is like he was taking a test but the teacher was giving him all the answers. He can't take pride in it. He came from a poor family as well back on earth and with each achievement, he felt proud. The Universal Guide noticed his feelings and thoughts hence it let Liang Chen know its own point of view.

"I am indeed giving you everything in terms of cultivation knowledge, that is true. However, don't give yourself less credit for your other achievements. When Liang Chen heard that, he felt his spirit was elated. Whenever he encounters any difficulties, the Universal Guide was always there. He's very thankful that the Universal Guide was there for him at all times, even outside of cultivation knowledge.

He took the 3rd eye out and began preparing himself. He took 3 deep breaths and said he was ready. He sat in a lotus position with the 3rd eye on his hand. He noticed that he can pinpoint the exact wavelength of the qi that is still inside the 3rd eye. It looks like dark smoke. He didn't see anything before this and was truly impressed by the Divine Soul Perception technique. The Universal Guide told him what to do so he wrapped the qi emanating from the 3rd eye and grabbed it with spirit sense. He threw that dark-like qi into his dantian and began refining it. After a few moments, Liang Chen's head began hurting. It went up to the point like it was splitting his skull in half. He heard a glass cracking sound in his head and when he checked his sea of consciousness, he saw the surroundings began forming spider cracks everywhere. The Universal Guide immediately said to take a Soul Mending Pill and Liang Chen did not hesitate to eat a perfect grade one. The cracks were being repaired however more cracks are appearing to replace the repaired ones.
