Chapter 13: Breakfast

The next day.

Alex was in the lobby at 6 o'clock, well before the standard wake-up time, wearing a tracksuit. As it was 6 o'clock it was still dark out, but there were still some people there.

Sylvie and Adele were also there wearing their tracksuit.

Brother, do you have any body pain after yesterday's exercise." Sylvie spoke after she spotted him.

"No, I don't have any body pain. Well, we only did the basics yesterday." Alex replied.

"So you want to do it together then? Brother." Sylvie asked.

'It was good that she was so energetic, but I didn't think I could keep up with her.' Alex thought. Even though Sylvie may look like a pretty girl—Alex can't compare him to her in terms of stamina.

Well, Sylvie started her training 4 years ago while Alex just started his yesterday.

"Yes, If only you run slower otherwise I think my heart would burst if I were to try to follow you." Alex said to Sylvie who pouts at him.

All this time Adele was silently watching both of them.

After they finished jogging both Sylvie and Alex were about to go their way to eat their breakfast suddenly Adele interpreted them.

"Young master, You should go with Young Miss to eat your breakfast."

"Why?" Alex asked while tilting his head as he has no idea why his family wants him at the dining table.

"It seems the House–Head wants to talk to you. And I was informed yesterday to tell you about it." Hearing Adele, Alex was silent.

'Why does the Old Fuck want to meet me, does he notice something abnormal about me? No, that can't be the case.' Alex thought. 'Well, only one way to find out. '

"Then Sister, let's go together."

"Okay." Sylvie said as they both made their way towards the hall.

Arriving at the dining room, what greeted him was a long table with beautiful carvings—And the table is large enough to easily accommodate 18 at a time, And at the end of the table was Lucas—the current head of Flameborn Dukedom.

Lucas was a handsome middle-aged man with long red hair, a neatly trimmed red beard and glowing red eyes.

His whole presence screamed power and authority. Even after both Alex and Sylvie entered he doesn't have any change in his facial expressions.

Next to Lucas was Lisa—the current head wife of Lucas.

Lisa was a beautiful woman with blonde hair, She possesses a sinful body that any woman will be jealous of and any man to lust after. Even Alex was in awe for a second due to her beauty but he didn't let it show on his face.

And just like Lucas, Lisa also wears a hateful look when she sees Alex with Sylvie, which she quickly hides. Alex was able to notice this because of his ability {Evil Mastermind}, which makes him more observant of his surroundings.

Opposite Lisa were her two children—Alex's step–siblings—Andrew and Tina.

Andrew is an 11-year-old boy—two years younger than Sylvie—just like his father Andrew also possesses red hair and has an arrogant look.

Seeing Andrew, one term came to Alex's mind that can describe his personality. 'A Young Master from xianxia manhwa'. He is also the reason why Alex spent a week in his bed.

Next to him was Tina, the youngest child of the Flameborn family. Tina is a 7–year–old girl with blonde hair and bright blue eyes which she inherited from her mother. She is also a mischievous person, who often plays pranks on previous Alex.

Due to previous Alex being introverted, he misunderstood her prank as bullying. But after Adele told Tina about it, she stopped it.

Arriving at the table silently, both Alex and Sylvie quietly sat down and the maids quickly started to serve the breakfast.
