Chapter 133: Negotiation 1

Yubi smiled and said "What do you want?" ignoring the fact that she had kept Jade waiting for about a month. Jade said "It's more about what you want, I have mostly weapons and armor. From guns to swords of different Ranks from Rank 1 to Rank 6, I have drones, traps, bombs and other tactical weapons with the same Rank range. I'm sure all of you would like your people to be able to contribute to the amount of souls in your crowns"

Yubi showed surprise when Jade said 'all of you' then she smiled, waved her hand and 6 more people, all covered in armors and weapons, appeared from the empty space on her sides. 2 Primordial Elves, both males in the 11th Rank, 2 Ancient Dwarves, one female in Rank 11 and the other male in Rank 9, and 2 Primordial Humans; one male and one female, both in Rank 10.

Jade had sensed the other Daimyos with Horus's spatial map so even though his and the Daimyos energy zones were compressed and Yubi hid them from sight Jade still sensed them clearly.

Yubi said "It's a good deal but what do you want in return". Jade said "I'm willing to supply all of your people weapons throughout the duration of the event and I will also add a set of weapons for each of you. In exchange I would like knowledge in the field of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering and Medicine that are above the first degree; masters to professorate degree level, researches are also acceptable. I would also like Magic knowledge if you have any"

Jade didn't ask for Martial Arts; he had come to the conclusion that Martial Arts on the level of people as strong as him required talent and training which he didn't have and wasn't willing to get. He needed a quick path to power and Magic and Science were the only options.

The Rank 9 Dwarf snorted and said "How are you sure your weapons are better than the ones I produce?" He pointed at a long sword that was hung on the waist of a Rank 11 Elf.

The Elf drew the sword and handed it to Jade. Jade said as he received the sword for inspection "I'm sorry, I didn't expect to meet all of you today, I only know Yubi's name. What would you names be?"

The male Elf who gave the sword said "Atsushi". He had white hair and his eye ball was completely white which made it hard to distinguish from the whites of his eyes. He was of a similar height to Yubi.

The other male Elf answered "Sadao". He had similar features to Atsushi.

The male Dwarf said "Aoda". He had silver hair and eyes and was 4 feet and 3 inches tall.

The female Dwarf said "Mayumi". She had blond hair and green eyes and was 4 feet and 6 inches tall.

The female Primordial Human said "Hana". She had normal Asian features and was of average height.

The male Primordial Human said "Genki". He also had normal Asian features and was a little bit taller than Hana.

Jade nodded and said "A pleasure to meet you all" then he studied the sword in his hand. It was a cold weapon, no technology in it, but when he swung it, it seemed to make his hand move faster and a gust of wind blew when he swung even though he didn't swing so hard.

Jade opened his palm and the newly upgraded Ouki appeared in his hands and he swung it at the sword. The sword was cleanly cut into two by the glaive. Aoda stared in shock at the share difference in quality.

Aoda had made the sword using normal wielding but Jade had make Ouki using spatial welding. The mass of his blade was way higher even though the weight didn't show it. When Jade swung the glaive at the sword, the force was equivalent to Jade swinging an entire monster at the sword that was probably made with just the nail or the fang of the monster. The difference was obvious.

Jade looked at the remaining people and said "I'm sure you'll be able to kill creatures one Rank higher than you if you use my weapons". Jade knew the value of his weapons but he also recognized the strange reaction of the Daimyos. They were not in desperate need of military power from what Daisuke said so it was weird that all of them had appeared to meet him.

Sadao the elf looked shared a glance with Mayumi the dwarf. Mayumi sighed and said "We see what you mean but our Magic is the core of our power, our military secrets if you will. We can't just share it in exchange for some weapons even if they're very powerful our Magic still has a lot of potential"

Jade said "I can also put Magic on the table; I have one that I've fully researched. I call it Hot Weapon Magic; it can recreate many of the effects of new gen weapons on a greater scale and more. There are even spells that can create materials that are useful for forging and some spells for body enhancement"

Complex expressions appeared on the faces of the Daimyos but Aoda raised his hand and said "I'll buy it but I only have the natural forging techniques of Dwarves to trade" Jade shook his head and said "I don't think I can sell it for that but I can give you my research on Aura weapons in exchange. You'll be able to create weapons that use advanced Aura textures"

Aoda nodded when he failed to understand what 'Advanced Aura Textures' meant, he was accepting the fact that Jade knew way more than him about weapons, he said "I'll take it".

Jade put his focus back on the other Daimyos and said "Ok, let's stop all the foreplay and get to the real smashing. You all came here even though I hadn't made any offer yet. Is there something you want from me?"

Genki said before any other person could talk "From what we heard, you teleported here. We would like the technology you used for that. We're willing to give you all our Magic knowledge for that one technology"

Jade smiled sadly and said "I can't give that, not for regular Magic. By the way it is called spatial technology. It's a technology that I invented. I'm willing to sell it but only for knowledge that is equally as valuable. And I don't mean to brag but I don't think your Magic spells are as valuable"

The Daimyos showed expressions of resignation, they already knew that the deal was too one sided, Jade said "I can sell you spatial equipment in exchange for your Magic though".

The Daimyos contemplated Jade's new proposal but a voice said "How about a different deal" Jade traced the source of the voice and found that the voice came from a Golden Eagle that was standing on his shoulder.

Jade's eyes widened, spatial sensing, psyche sensing, energy sight; even after Jade activated all the sensory modules of Horus he still got nothing from the bird on his shoulder.

The Eagle jumped down from Jade's shoulder and flapped its wings to stay in the air as it morphed into an old man Japanese man wearing a red haori with flower designs over a regular long sleeve purple shirt and a pair of black trousers.

The man's hair was completely grey and he had a very prominent long pointed nose. Jade's IP denoted him as [Rank 21 Yokai: Tengu/ Heavenly Guardian – Satoshi].
