Chapter 6

It had been a few good minutes since the apocalypse had started and I did my best to dodge while also keeping half an eye on Aladdin as my conscience dictated I at least give minimal effort to help him survive what I knew or thought would happen before he could escape.

There was a reason I had brought a gun with me to this world, and he was standing there at the entrance to the cave looking down on Aladdin as he climbed up to escape the flowing fiery death rolling his way.

I had made a cold decision before I entered this world.. that I would remove Jafar if the opportunity arose and it had done so in a similar manner as it did in canon. I had decided that I would clear the way for the brat and his monkey and hope he could course correct his life somehow but his survival was the only thing that I considered almost a small obligation since I stole his opportunity for the lamp.

At the first opportunity I had plugged Jafar with 3 shots to the chest to make sure he stayed down. I had seen the look of shock on his face as he started to leak out everywhere but as he was a pretty evil bastard I wouldn't really lose much sleep over him or is death

After that it was just a matter of time and avoiding falling boulders and rocks which took another few minutes until all the rumbling and flowing rivers of liquid death calmed their asses down so that we could search for a landing spot. I knew it would be near the entrance of the cave since that's where Aladdin fell so that's the area we had stayed in as we played dodge the rocks.

After everything calmed down and finding a good spot for the Magic carpet to land, it was time to summon the Genie and hope for the best. I dusted off the lamp a bit and prayed that things worked and at least slightly went my way then rubbed the lamp and waited for the magic to happen. It's simple to say it didn't disappoint and the Genie shot out of the lamp doing his grand display.

~(I'm Copying the script for this a bit even if I change a little here and there. Also remember MC is purposely copying what Aladdin did and said as much as possible or as applicable)~

Genie: Oh, great one who summons me. Terrible one who commands me. I stand by my oath. Loyalty to wishes three. I said... oh... great... Excuse me. Boy, where's your boss? Help me out here, where's your boss? If I was gonna talk to myself, I coulda just stayed in the lamp. Hello! Um...

Truly seeing him do his spiel was kind of awe inspiring to be honest and I probably didn't hide it very well.

Genie: Use your big boy voice.

"I'm sorry, I didn't think this would be real or something, I wasn't expecting a smoking blue dude to appear!"

Genie: sigh… where is your boss kid?

I just looked confused for a moment. "What do you mean, I don't have a boss?"

Genie: Look, kid, I've been doing this a long time, all right? There's always a guy, you know. He's cheated somebody or buried somebody or... I mean, you get my point. Where's that guy?

"I know that guy. He's outside." Or what's left of him hehe.

Genie: So... it's just... you and me down here. So, that means that you rubbed the lamp?

"Yup, that was me that did that, I don't think being in there could have been comfortable for you"

Genie: O...kay. Hey, do you mind if I just stretch it out over here? Do you mind?

"You do you my friend, I'm sure you were cramped or something!" Ah that would suck to be trapped like that, it's one of the reasons I will actually free him.

A few minutes later

Holy shit he actually did the whole spiel, song and dance(literally)…. I think my jaw might have actually been on the ground at that point. The casual display of reality warping power didn't help even if I was expecting it and I was having trouble remembering my lines now or at least close approximations. I feel bad that my next words will make him feel the whole thing was pointless though, maybe anyways..

"….so how does this all work exactly?…"

Genie: You're... kidding, right? The whole song... was th-the instructions! Obviously you can't dance and listen at the same time. So here's the basics: Step one. Rub the lamp. Step two. Say what you want. Step three. There is no step three. See? It's that easy. You get three wishes. They must begin with rubbing the lamp and saying "I wish". Got it?

"O-ok! Yeah makes sense Genie!" Ok so he said I actually had to rub the lamp for it to be a wish like in the movie, that's good I hope as long as I can fluster him slightly.

Genie: A couple other rules. You can't wish for more wishes. Three is enough. Now, I can't make anybody love anybody. Or bring anybody back from the dead. Feel free to interrupt me anytime you don't understand. I'm kidding. Don't ever interrupt me, no matter what. Now, I usually don't have to go through all this because by the time the guy gets to me, he pretty much knows what he wants and it generally has to do with tons of money and power! Do me a favor, do not drink from that cup. I promise you, there's not enough money and power on Earth for you to be satisfied. Good? So, what's your first wish?

"Mm, well... I have to think about it. I mean, if there are only three. Why are there only three, anyway?"

Genie: I don't know! Who cares?

"You don't know. I thought you were all-knowing?"

Genie: That's 'cause you don't listen. I never said I was all-knowing. I said I was all-powerful. The most powerful being in the universe. Look, whatever I don't know, I know I can learn it. Outside in the sun. Why you playin' hard to wish? I know you can't tell, but I'm very pale. This is sky blue. My natural pigmentation is navy.

"Hmm ok how about this?" I grabbed the lamp and sat down to think for a second with the lamp in hand, canting my body sideways slightly before putting it down while the Genie began to look excited.

"I wish for Ki powers from the Anime Dragon Ball Z if possible or the movie Dragon Ball: Evolution if it's not, with the Saiyan Zenkai ability either way.

"Huh, that's an interesting wish but whatever let's do thiiiis!" He said while throwing around his crazy cosmic power and making me glow for a moment.

And I felt it, it was warm, almost hot but not an uncomfortable feeling flowing through me, if I'm not mistaken that was my Ki, not that I have anything to judge or compare it from, it is just a feeling of almost becoming complete now. Weird considering it wasn't a part of me before to my knowledge but maybe everyone has the potential in one way or another?

I am not sure how exactly the Genie knows what dragon ball z is but I will simply assume he used my memories to grant what I wanted to make it happen or something along that line of thought.

"Your first wish is granted, you have two more to go!" The genie cheered.

I looked at him curiously for a second. "Are you sure I was charged a wish? I thought I had to be rubbing the lamp to get a wish?" His jaw dropped for a second before he looked at me with a wtf expression.

After a few seconds he replayed the entire scene on a projector and looked like he was having a midlife crisis before sighing. "Ok fool me once shame on me, no more freebies for you mister!" Ahh he is being a champ about it, good.

"Ok Genie, since I teased you I will use the last wish to set you free if that is your desire?" He looked at me for a full minute. "Nobody sets a genie free." He tells me with a sad sigh.

"Ehhh maybe but I don't need the last wish so I don't mind. I'm a world traveler Genie, il be gone from this world once we finish here unless I just want to go visit Agrabah for a few days or something but il probably just leave.

His eyes glow for a moment, like he is checking something that I can't see. "Huh I must really be getting sloppy in my old age… I usually would notice something different about people but ok… I will put some trust in you.

"I'm curious though, how do you know what my wishes mean? I mean I know I say the words but how do you know what to grant? I'm sure they don't have DBZ in this world, right?"

"Probably not, no, I simply used your own memories of what you meant to grant your wish since YOU knew what those things were." Huh ok, so basically what I figured it would be I guess.

"Alright for my… first… wish…." I tell him with a small smile which he kinda pouts at. I'm actually rubbing the lamp this time making a show of it under his very close observation. "I wish for a pouch of magic Senzu beans, that can hold at least 10 beans, from the anime Dragon Ball Z, that refills every day at midnight, with a manual on how to grow them." With that a beam of light shot from Genies finger as he shot it like a gun in my direction and I looked down and saw a small pouch attached to my belt and a small booklet appeared in my hand which I quickly put in my cargo pants.

I also took the time to put the stupidly glittery ruby in my other cargo pocket since I had an idea for the Genie.

I opened the pouch and looked inside and wasn't really overly surprised though I was highly excited to see a bunch of little lime green colored beans just like I remembered them from the anime. I honestly couldn't help myself, I pulled one out of the bag and chomped down on it quickly.

It was slightly bitter but overall not too horrid of a taste. I could literally feel all my aches and pains just go away and any hunger I may have been feeling vanished, feeling like I just ate a good sized meal.

"Awesome Genie! I know it's kinda lame but your sorta helping me live some of my childhood fantasies…" I was kinda really happy, no doubt about it.

He just smiled at that, he was a good dude really, just like shown in the movie and cartoon.

"Alrighty continuing with the theme that we have going, I wish for The Ultra Divine Water from the Dragon Ball Anime though altered in a way that I will survive it without repercussions or consequences or losing its ability to bring out someone's potential." I have a feeling that even though I will survive this it will still hurt like a bitch for a long time.

In a flash of light a cup filled with a clear liquid was sitting on a stool waiting for me to consume it.

"Why do I get the feeling this is going to be excruciatingly painful Genie?" I ask him with a deadpan stare. He just gave me a noncommittal shrug and a smile. "Should I take it now?"

He just sighed. "May as well get it over with, it won't kill you or any monkey paw bullshit but it will probably be e highly unpleasant for a few minutes at minimum." Fuck should have asked for a no pain version or something but I guess power without some pain isn't really appreciated as much and maybe I will feel like I earned it afterwards?

"Alright here goes nothing, wish me luck!" And he did. Down the hatch it went and for a few seconds I thought I was getting off light or something as I didn't feel anything more than a light burning in my stomach.

It started slow, a burning in my veins, and then it increased and increased everywhere until it all merged into one painful feeling from head to toe, the pain, it was truly indescribable but I'm pretty sure anyone who saw me would get the point. I was screaming bloody murder and honestly just wanted to die after the first minute of this suffering.

Time seemed to blur between my screaming and admittedly a little sobbing. I'm not too proud to admit it, I crawled into the fetal position and cried like a bitch as my body spasmed in pain, all my nerves on fire.

I don't know when it happened but eventually I lost consciousness, maybe after the pain started to dissipate or something? Who knows I was just glad the pain was gone when i had woken up, nothing else mattered at that point other than the torture being over with.

I eventually got the courage to look around and saw a worried looking Genie looking at me in concern. "How long has it been since I took the water?" I asked in dread, the pain felt like it lasted for days.

"It has been 2 hours since you took the water and about an hour since you passed out.

I just took a few deep calming breaths, ate another Senzu bean and tried to remember my next wish… ahh that was it. "Ok Genie for my next wish, I wish to have the knowledge of Goku from Dragon Ball Z on how to use and shape my Ki and his mastery of martial arts, his knowledge from when Trunks arrived from the future will suffice." And with that the Genies hand glowed and shot at me again and I felt knowledge suffuse my mind, I knew things I didn't know before, how to access my Ki, how to mold it, how to use it to fly, shoot Ki blasts and how to actually do martial arts of all kinds and so much more!

I could sense my own power level right now or at least generally where it is at. And while I am not all powerful by any stretch of the meaning I am pretty strong… especially for a human. If I had to guess without anyone to compare it to I would say my power level is somewhere between 900-1300.

Probably not much when compared to places like marvel or DC worlds but in a lot of worlds it is pretty strong.

"Alright no need to wait any longer… well unless you lose your powers when you are wished free….?" Our location quickly changed. I had been picking up gold and knickknacks this whole time except the time I was writhing in pain curled into the fetal position. My backpack was pretty much stuffed with gold and gems and anything else found worth anything aside from my overly sized ruby which was coming with me.

"I wish you to be free!" I tell him as I rub the lamp in full view as his jaw once again hit the ground. He quickly lost his blue color and started turning into Will smith with his cherry on top style hair and an expensive looking set of clothes.

"Thank you…..my friend.. I don't know what to say." He mutters out still I shock. "Genie you don't need to say anything, I simply kept my word, though I hear there is a beautiful hand maiden to a princess that may actually be perfect match for you in the palace." I tell him while tossing a nearly over flowing backpack filled with treasure at his feet.

"I don't know if you have any powers or not still but this should help you start your new life even as a human, truly I wish you luck!" His eyes open wide as a portal opens behind me and I simply disappear with the carpet quickly following me through. He had tears of both happiness and sadness in his eyes as I vanished. He would have been a good friend to have honestly but I didn't want to pull him from his world and potential love.

Not going to lie, it was tempting to stay for a few weeks to simply try to woo or at least see a princess in the form of Naomi Scott but I resisted the urge and leapt through the portal anyways.
