Emperor of Anime

With the tragic passing of his father, a young man by the name of Kira Rowe visits Japan, the place which his father loved with all his heart to pay final respect to his old man. But without him planning this he became a CEO of an almost rundown Animation studio, the last thing he got from his father. Follow the adventure of the CEO of a small Animation Studio who tries to deal with his crazy colleagues, financial problems, and being a foreigner CEO in Japan, all with one goal: to create the best anime ever. ... I will try to be as realistic as possible with this story, especially when it comes to the whole process of making an anime but of course, for the fun of the story and some other stuff, it won't be 100% realistic... ... My first novel is here, to be honest, it is surreal seeing a web novel of my own on this site. What can you expect? I am not sure, as I am new to this I decided to go with a slice-of-life story that contains some comedy and is mostly about making anime and weird characters. When it comes to grammar, everything should be fine on that front, English isn't my first language but I tried to fix mistakes while writing. Of course, if you notice any mistakes, please tell me. ... If you want to read more than 20 chapters upfront check out My Patreon - https://www.patreon.com/StoryWriter946

Chapter 47 – Directions

Soon after that, they informed a veteran director about the decision of Nexus Animation and the man looked kind of happy but at the same time, he looked like he expected that decision.

Kira Rowe then went to inform his uncle about the new project and while he was doing that, Marie introduced Kenshin to the gang, who all looked nervous and ready to go to war simultaneously.

Kenshin took a long look at the cast of the Nexus Animation and in his own style introduced himself.

"Hmm, you all look weird, but no matter, if you at least know how to do your job, I wouldn't even care if you all end up being criminals on the run."

Let's just say that at his words, every single member here had the same thought – 'He is such a great fit with us'

If Kira was here, for a thousand and one time he would say – "What a bunch of weirdos".

Soon, the introductions ended and the man behind this project said what this movie was supposed to be about and some of his thoughts and ideas.

"Let me tell you, this is going to be a masterpiece, the story is going to take place in the middle of the war, my first plan is that we don't show or tell what war or about the countries that are warring."

Kenshin started ranting about his ideas.

"No, this movie should be about the cruelty of war, about the loss of humanity, so this movie is going to be made from the perspective of a single, non-important soldier, through his eyes we will talk about the most vile invention of humanity - war."

Everyone present was trying to picture this story in their heads and almost everyone really looked forward to creating this, as it seems that from an art perspective, this has potential.

Kenshin wasn't finished with his explanation.

"This is going to be a story that is going to critic today's governments and those former, it is going to be a story that is going to move to tears every single consumer and it is going to be a story that is going to force those soulless people to start thinking about their acts, so, for it to be able to do everything I just said you would all need to follow every single of mine directions, I only expect perfection."

It is suffice to say that everyone got hyped by Kenshin's words, and was prepared to take on this project, well, everyone except Yamato Shoda who was blankly looking at the veteran director.

While the crew was getting hyped, Toma Yuu skipped that explanation part, as he was already familiar with everything and decided to pay a visit to his young boss.

He entered the office and saw him stretching and yawning.

Toma Yuu halted for a bit and then stepped inside, trying to walk loudly so that his boss would hear him.

"Hmm, oh, Mr. Yuu, how is everything?"

That was the first question, Kira Rowe asked him…It seems like everything is job, job, job for him, not caring for anything else.

"It is all good, young boss, what about you, you are looking kind of tired…"

Kira could hear the concern in the voice of his employee and that is a big no, no when it comes to leading a business. Always appears like you are in top shape, but Kira already considers his favourite scriptwriter as an important figure in his life, so, with him and Joshua he allows himself to sometimes look like the young man that he is.

"Haaa, a lot of business calls, planning, stress, but this is what I signed for, whining won't help me, nor my people."

"Indeed, but every CEO needs sometimes to let loose, tell me, what do you do for fun?"

Hearing this question Kira got stuck and he tried to think his way out.

"Umm, does trying to become an otaku count?"

"That's a part of your job."

An immediate answer and Kira again didn't know what to say. Toma Yuu could see this and he decided to put his boss out of the misery.

"Let's do this, tomorrow take a day off…"

The moment he said this, Kira tried to interrupt him but he saw a glare from his senior, so being smart as he is, he stayed quiet.

"Make all the phone calls today and tomorrow no work, go visit the cinema or something, get away from anime, planning, stress and your work, and just relax, we need you at your best, every single one of us."

Even though Kira looked like he had something else to say, he made a decision to listen to his scriptwriter, so tomorrow a nice and relaxing day awaits our MC.

You know the drill haha - if you like this novel please give it a power stone or something, also don't forget to leave a comment or review...
