Emerald Ocean

{Announcement} Got a notification about being put in some kinda promising books event or whatever which I guess could be considered feedback so I'ma get to work on this book again... Gotta finish that there last arc... My little Gieco Lizard deserves death!!! --- Inside a garden full of towering trees untold years old that sadly have inferiority complexes caused by the never ending giant tower that supports the sky that the garden sits in front. Upon the branch of one of the smallest trees in the garden, the last of it's kind of the tallest it's breed of tree was ever been able to grow as well as the oldest, sits a beautiful fairy who seems but the size of a squirrel emotionless sipping tea watching the leaves fall off the leaves of the tree as if having already given up on life when suddenly a wind passes by the eternally still garden and everything gently quakes as the infinite number of lines along the towers base lights up gently with a blazing emerald flame that is bordering on black. As if struck by a earth quake the woman falls out of her chair unbearably shaking as her eyes lock upon a thing far away in the infinitely large garden not a plant, not a tree, but the ground itself. A crazy and hopeful fire begins to burn deep within the beautiful fairies eyes as reaches out her hand and with a determined look shatters the very core of her soul sending a piece of herself out into the earth and herself tumbling listlessly into a deep sleep alone on the branch. Hope still burning in her eyes even as they slowly close and a twisted smile upon her lips. Like a bolt of lightning the core of her soul that was a part of her soul but not at the same time takes flight towards the sky circling around the crown of the small tree twice before gently bumping into the already sleeping woman as if in sorrow before flashing away faster then the eye could see reaching a distance so far you wouldn't be able to walk it in a million years even if you could travel at the speed of light and diving into the soil of a solitary mound of dirty diving deeper and deeper it eventually stops and flashes so bright it can even be suttly seen from the garden above as the deep blue light like the ocean fuses into the very core of an single solitary atom inside the soil as if slipping through a crack. Across a vast and unending expanse of sky a brilliant flash of blue light up the very core of a universe before zooming away in the exact instant it appeared as if nothing their ever mattered not the massive throne, the unending number of people fighting for it, nor the ghastly little hut that's door has never opened in all of its existence and that space has warped the top of that no eyes made of flesh has ever seen and no man has ever hoped to enter. One, Ten, A Hundred, A thousand, A Million, A Billion, an untold number more stars pass by as they begin to trail together before the light finally find a crack. Not in space, not in time, not in anything but itself simply existing like it's always existed. The space between filled with nothing. Diving into the crack without even slowly down the blue light seems to fade from existence as if it was never there. Slowly but surely as the blue light fades so does the crack before with it's last peek a suttle flash of Emerald escapes being vanishing from sight. The gentle beam of light flew out never stopping till it struck a nearby planet. As the light was absorbed by that planets inhabitants something... Awoke.

Ch. 26 Weeping Waters

<<<_ Originally there was intended to be two chapters making up the back story of the water elemental but raging waters as it was got removed thus I had to tell it's whole back story in a single chapter. So long one_>>>

I woke up in this world... Where am I? What am I? As I wondered the deep blue abyss of my home I am relentlessly attacked from my surroundings unknown shadows dart around in the water around me striking my flesh tearing asunder my water like limbs only for them to reform to the shapeless blob that is me as if nothing occurred to begin with. After what seemed like endless decades of wandering completely unaware of what this was I finally saw something new. In the endless abyss of darkness I finally saw a light.

...

The thoughts of my past returned to me as I starred into the eye's of this beast... It looks so much like... It is also made up of wood. Does that mean I'm fighting the thing that brought me here? I only ever came to find my place in this world because that emerald radiance that seemed to ooze from this creature as if my eyes have met with a brilliant emerald star. If it wasn't for the fact those roots gave me strength and gave me knowledge. If it wasn't for those roots with no apparent end or beginning I would never have had a world outside of that deep blue sea. The sub-terrain waters that make up my first home are vast and seemingly endless but this world is so much simpler as long as this light exists it seems as if the world can be seen and all things can truly exist. Without this light I feel nothing but loneliness.

No... I cannot fight this creature... I should run I should run far away who cares about the little ones they are just servants of that mad king. They don't even compare to the radiance of the tree. As the thought crosses my mind the bears tumble over as they have used up their everything just to kill this unknown invader. I need to run... It will simply consume me if I attempt to stay it will just swallow my entire existence into it's own the moment we touch... It's a solid being it cannot follow me right? I should just dive through the cracks in the walls and rush towards the roots. Maybe... Just maybe the king will win? But if that happens will the roots die too? What is the actual connection between them?

As an endless stream of thoughts run through my none existent watery mind I reach the chamber of the king slipping through this wall of ice made from my own flesh is quite simple but it's the same for that wolf it proved that when it broke the wall that barred our territory this is thin paper in comparison to that wall. I'll have to delve into the water and just wait to see who wins this battle. I can't fight the king anymore then I can fight this monstrous creature who emanates the same hue as my north star. As I begin to remember the past I delve once more into the waters the king only noticing my panic as I've jumped far from his reach. He cannot force me to help him.

As I sit there my eye's resting upon the roots that brought me to this world the radiance of that emerald light has been stuck in my mind since the moment it became the first thing in all of my world.

...

As I rushed thoughtlessly toward the first thing I saw the pure radiance of light slowly becoming closer and closer endless thought streaming through my head, my most prominent though was purely the fact that this would most definitely be a trap... I'm most likely swimming toward my demise but what else could I do? It might kill me but it is the first thing in all the world I have ever seen. As I get closer to the light endless attacks seem to rip me apart like never before as if countless monstrously large blades were spinning around me and digging into my very being but it's only pulling me around as I reform just to be ripped apart again getting closer and closer towards the light. Just as the source of the radiance comes before me and I'm only a small distance from reaching what appears to be safety the largest attack yet rips me in half as a part of me is stolen... I can't... It won't come back... I can't reform... RUN!!!

For the first time something attacked me and it actually dealt damage my mass has been reduced by half by an unknown attacker in this darkness. The radiance above showed some sort of giant lurking in the darkness but the exact shape or size is impossible to tell all that was aparent was what ever it was it seemed to dwarf all things as if I were just looking at the edge of a world an endless wall to the sea before me... Without ever stopping I marveled at the sheer size of this monstrosity as I rushed with further purpose towards the light that seemed to show mercy upon me as my body seemed to be strengthened as more of the light touched my skin as if the water its self around this light has been infused with boundless power. Just as two giant walls like the gaping maw of a giant beast were closing in around me I finally touched the source of the light.

My head slammed into a formless ceiling that seemed to have no end... I cannot run any further? But that monstrosity is still right there. It doesn't appear able to reach me due to the walls of this cavern but what if it dug into here just to eat me? As I sat next to these strange tendrils that emulate a bazaar radiance I waited for my eventual death but as I waited the monstrous lurker seemed to disappear. After a large fish radiating a faint blue light was rushing towards me as fast as it could but before it reached me I witnessed what appeared to be a scaled blue floor develop upon the bottom of my new home just as fast as this sudden floor appeared it disappeared again. As if it were some kind of reverse trap door. As the suddenly constructed floor of a fishie appearance faded the first thing to catch my eye was the fact the fish had entirely vanished. I can't help but assume that monstrously large lurker in the shadows had entirely devoured that fish. Is it lurking around the light eating up anything that comes close? I guess that kinda makes me feel safer... I won't have anything smaller then that fish coming up from below but that also means I definitely cannot leave. The moment I do it will just eat the rest of me. From the apparent size I can't help but assume it only managed to take half of me by pure luck as it likely could have eaten a creature hundreds of times my size like a small snack. I could try waiting for it to leave but I doubt it will any time soon. No better lure in that endless abyss then this radiant light it's likely been lurking down there for a very long time and needs to stay or it'll starve to death as I doubt there's a more bountiful buffet in the whole abyss then this small cove that emanates an endless radiance. As the hours pass sitting alone in the light of these roots my flesh appears to regrow quickly as I obtain strength from the warmth of the light. After some time I decide to try to investigate the shapeless wall above as I reach it I force one of my hands to it my formless hand slips through this large wall only to lose a bit of it's shape as the world on the other side of the wall seemed to force me back down as if refusing me. As I force myself upwards a suddenly jolt pulls me further as a large portion of the water around me is yanked with me through the wall half my body becoming rigid and impossible to move as the other half starts moving against my will as I look down upon two groups of animistic small creatures fighting each other one had a strange furry complexion as it's endlessly pure white hair seems to come out from it's body countless solid chunks of water fly off from there flesh as if bound by there will as it collides with the attacks of the other creatures who are much more familiar to me creatures of fish like appearance slender arms thick necks and large heads dark black eyes meet a faint blue iris there slender and long torso's seem to meet with a thick slick fishy base each of it's lower fins parting to strike the ground beneath them strange long bits extending from the base of there fins to stretch out beneath the ground beneath them as webs of watery skin meets between the appendages as I look at them I can't help but be baffled by the strange fish-like bodies that also seem to be closer to the shape of the other creatures then any fish. The two forces fought on as one side seemed to steal part of my bodies will and the other froze and threw me around I got torn apart as their weapons. In my fear and anger I tried to steal back my flesh as a huge portion of my body suddenly froze blocking off the road between the two forces. I stood there baffled at the size of this attack the other bears could only shape small icicles but this was beyond compare as a white haired creature larger then any other walks up from between the crowd the other hairy creatures cower at the sight of him as if seeing the greatest evil they ever knew. As he approached my body he began to freeze more of me closing off entirely the space between the fishie people and the hairy ones and placing a throne of ice before the wall and sitting upon it looking down upon his hairy kin and roaring. On the other side the fishie people seem to lose interest and simply walk away. As most of my flesh was lost to this rigid force that solidifies me I delve back into the waters as the entire surface area of the once shapeless barrier to that strange battleground turns as solid as the walls around me. After time I eventually end up aiding these hairy creatures as the feeling of being turned solid was so much better then simply losing my own flesh.

...

As I came back to the present my eyes once again meet the strange beast who puts off the same radiant hue as before, tears stream endlessly from my eyes... Would this creature kill me now? The light that brought me to this place and gave me strength would also kill me? It's been so long since I felt any real danger sitting alone in this pool of radiant energy that gives me strength and sudden growth.

Polar bears and what's there enemy? Ah who could know... but me lol. I doubt I described it too perfectly as I meant to be quite vague as why would a water elemental who's only known an abyssal sea understand the appearance and names of land creatures? Don't worry the mc will give you a proper description of there appearance in time... The next chapter has nothing to do with either the bears or the unknown new creatures. Hell not even the water elemental will be in the next chapter. :)
