Chapter 342: Weak Cultivation

Kizen's words did a really good job of spicing up the competition as now independent cultivators will have a much greater chance of winning, though, in the end, it won't matter too much since while I don't really care about the winning prize, I will not be getting anything less than first place, my pride will never allow me so.

Holding the suppressive device, I placed it on my left wrist and infused my Qi into it, causing the band to take on a purple tint while Elaine's had taken on a silver one, which matched her utterly beautiful eyes.

"How low will you suppress your cultivation?" Asked Elif curiously as he brushed Elaine's lustrous silver hair out of the way while staring into her vibrant eyes, invoking a deep sense of intimacy and lust within him.

"Hmm, I'm thinking of suppressing my cultivation base to an early Saint; I would prefer to go lower, but if I do, I'll have too little Qi to perform some of the techniques for an extended period of time. I wish I had your physique right about now, Brother." Replied Elaine softly as she glanced at her suppressive device while injecting Qi into it, causing her cultivation base to drop from a Middle Divine Lord to an early Saint.

"Hehe, if you had my physique, you'd lose that sexy charm of yours, Elaine, and I would never want that to happen." Said Elif with a faint smirk as he grabbed Elaine's chin and began planting kisses on her cheek, causing her to chuckle while she enjoyed every second of it.

"Hehe, what about you, Brother?" Asked Elaine with a lovely smile as she looked at Elif, who pridefully smiled while he injected Qi into his device, causing his cultivation base of a middle Divine King to drop all the way down to Qi Gathering, startling her.

"Qi Gathering will be more than enough to suffice, so long as I don't come across a True God in that realm, but since the highest is only a weak Celestial, I've got nothing to worry about." Remarked Elif with a proud grin as he flicked his hair behind his head while glancing at Elaine.

"You slightly startled me, Brother; I always forget how strong that Immortal Will of yours is." Muttered Elaine softly as she gazed at Elif, who chuckled in amusement, yet before he could say anything, she suddenly grabbed his hands and forced him down.

Being forced to lay on the branch Elaine and I were sitting on, she kept my arms above my hand while she sat on my lap, giving me a look that I'd never seen before.

"Hehe, this chance doesn't come often, so I best abuse it when given the opportunity." Said Elaine softly with a domineering aura as she forcefully grabbed Elif's chin, kissing his cheek while her hand moved down to his chest.

Never in my twenty years of life have I ever seen Elaine behave so overbearing before; sure, she's acted aggressively given the curse that plagues her, but this is different, unlike usual; she's the one in charge, yet, instead of feeling uncomfortable from her forceful touches, my breathing quickened while the beating of my heart intensified. The Elaine dominated me was something I'd never experienced before, and for some reason, I loved every second of it, though unfortunately, before things could go any further, Marley interrupted us.

"Your Highnesses, please, you're in public." Said Marley pleadingly with a faint blush as she floated in the air while glancing between Elaine and Elif.

"Tsk." Muttered Elif and Elaine as they both gave Marley an annoyed look before sitting upright.

"We'll continue this later, dear Brother." Said Elaine overbearingly as she grabbed Elif's face and licked his cheek, causing him to gulp while faintly nodding.

'Well, I know two things now. Elaine is, without a doubt, Mother's child, and I now know how Father must've felt.' Mused Elif lightly as he wrapped his arms around Elaine's waist while she silently lay in his embrace.

Technically speaking, now that we'd suppressed our cultivation, we could enter through the dimensions rift Kizen created, but I decided to wait with Elaine, who carefully observed everyone else cultivation bases since, unlike me, she doesn't have an Immortal Will, and while she's powerful, she's suppressed her cultivation base to a Saint, meaning even the weakest Divine would be capable of defeating her with ease.

Though I didn't just keep my focus on my absolutely adorable sister, I did view Tiamat, Aurora, Cordelia, and Lucifer's cultivation base, and funnily enough, all four of them had also suppressed their cultivation to Qi gathering; actually, since for this trial, one's cultivation isn't the deciding factor, I was somewhat forced to heed Comet, who also at Qi Gathering.

"Are you ready, Elaine?" Asked Elif curiously as he glanced at Elaine, who took a few moments to respond.

"Yes, I've already examined everyone's cultivation base; only a few hundred had stayed a Divine. Come, Brother, let us go." Replied Elaine with a nod as she kissed Elif on the cheek before picking him up in her arms and floating to the ground.

"Ho, you're going to make me fall for you again, Elaine." Said Elif with a faint smirk as he kissed Elaine, causing her to chuckle while she set him on the ground.

If it weren't for Elaine, I would've actually fallen to the ground since I could no longer fly now that I was only at Qi Gathering, something I happened to overlook. While walking across the beach barefoot, allowing the sand to massage my soles, Elaine and I approached the dimensional rift wit, Marley, Ember, and Idonea following right behind us; speaking of my servants, they had followed in Elaine's footsteps and suppressed their cultivation to an early Saint, which was smart on her behalf since losing the ability to fly is quite a massive disadvantage.

Stepping into the shallow edges of the shore, I leaped into the rift while the four women flew into it, looking far more graceful than me, but my natural beauty made up for that; appearing on the other side of the rift while in the middle of a dense forest, I looked around, and unsurprisingly, no one was beside me. I couldn't even use my divine sense since I needed to at least be a Nascent Soul cultivator; currently, I was nothing but a mortal right now.

"Hmm, maybe I should've thought a little more deeply about this; I've gotten so used to flying and my divine sense I failed to realize I'd lose them both. Unfortunate." Muttered Elif with a sigh as he lightly shook his head while aimlessly walking through the forest.

Since I had no knowledge of my surroundings, I was forced to use my senses to help me, and well, there wasn't much help there; however, I did keep my Immortal Will around me, which would prevent anyone from sneak attacking me since I was quite susceptible to one right about now.

As the minutes passed, I suddenly heard a loud roar nearby, causing me to stop as I turned and immediately headed towards the roaring; when I finally arrived, I spotted two beasts staring each other down, seemingly fighting for territories. They were far too focused on each other to notice my presence, though my weak cultivation base was probably the main reason why, though unfortunately for them, I required the crystal within their bodies.

Surging my Immortal Will to the two beasts, I forcefully crushed their minds and dao hearts, causing them to collapse onto the ground while foaming at the mouth; however, despite what I'd they weren't dead; their south and bodies were pretty much unharmed, but they had lost any of their egos, and they were nothing but living husks waiting to die so their soul could finally pass on through the reincarnation cycle.

"Wait, how do I find their crystals? Must I do so manually?" Asked Elif with raised eyebrows as he gazed between the two beasts before sighing to himself.

"I'm a Crown Prince; I should not be required to do such menial labor." Muttered Elif in annoyance as he summoned Hokori from his dimension, which took significantly longer than usual without his divine sense.

Unsheathing Hokori, I walked to the front of the beast and stabbed my blade into its skull, requiring a decent amount of effort to slice through its flesh and bone before I finally managed to kill it by cutting its brain. When the beast finally died, its body transformed into particles of light before condensing into a small, fist-sized crystal, causing me to sigh in relief as I reached down and picked it up before storing it within my dimension ring.

"At least something good has come out of this." Muttered Elif lightly as he turned and focused his sights on the second best.

This time, I coated Hokori with Sword Aura, which allowed me to easily cut through the beast's tough flesh and bone as I swiftly killed it, causing the beast's corpse to transform into a crystal ball, which I stored in my dimension ring.

"Now then, that's two down, several more to go." Said Elif calmly as he flicked his sword, cleaning the blood of Hokori before sheathing it and placing it on his back at an angle.

Despite being rather oblivious to my surroundings, aimlessly walking through the forest was actually rather fun as every step was a mystery; who knows what I'd find around this tree or beyond that boulder.

'Hmm, maybe Elaine and I should do this sometime; it may be fun.' Thought Elif lightly with a faint smile as he continued to walk, only for him to summon a jar full of clear liquid with Elaine's name written on it.

"Mhm, so delicious." Said Elif softly as he took the lid off and drank straight from the jar, causing his body to shiver with delight.
