NEW FRIENDS AND FAMILY

"Hi, my name is Christopher Carbonell. What is yours?" I asked

"Hi, I am George Stacey." He replied

"Hi, students. My name is Betty cooper. I am your homeroom teacher as well as your English teacher."

"Now, everyone should introduce yourselves, what you like and what is your dream."

"Let's start with you." She said pointing at a student in the back.

After several minutes of long and short introductions of several classmates, it was my turn. So, I stood and said

"Hi, my name is Christopher Carbonell. You can call me Chris short for Christopher. I like technology and biology. I want to be a marine and serve the country." I said and then sat down.

"Well, that is big dream Chris. Best of luck. Now on to the next one."

"Hi, my name is George Stacey. I like to eat and play football. I want to be police officer." George said

"Nice to meet you, George. Well, I will leave the safety of our streets in your hands in the future." Ms. Cooper replied with a smile and motioned for the next student to introduce themselves.

After the last of the classmates finished introducing themselves, Ms. Cooper started to teach. During the lunch, nothing happened except for George and me being buds. After school, mom came to pick me up. During the ride home, I told her about all the fun things happened at school and all the friends I made.

Like this my elementary school begins, except for the boring classes, training my skills and spending my time with George nothing else happened. After almost a year, my baby brother was born and we named him Mathew Francis Carbonell. It was happy time, I finally had a sibling, everybody came to see him George and his family, Uncle Nick, Uncle Howard, Aunt Maria and Tony.

 Nowadays I always spent my free time with him. The years went by and for every holiday we either visit the stark family or they visit us. Uncle nick comes when he has time but he may also not show up for a year sometimes. 'I didn't think SHIELD was this busy, poor Uncle' Chris thought. George also became fond of my brother. So, we usually spent our time playing with him and tony also joins us in the holidays.

 By the time, we finished elementary school, the holiday celebrations became less festive as all of them become busy. From time to time aunt Maria comes but no one else. Tony was sent to a boarding school; Uncle Nick was busy on some secretive job and Uncle Howard was busy with business. But another good thing that happened was right before entering middle school, I got another sibling.

This time it is a sister and we named her Yvonne Dianne Carbonell. This time all the family got back together, even Tony. It was like in the past, festive, lots of food and family. We even invited Stacy's family. We three spent our all day together playing and into late in night. Over the years, Tony and George became my best buds who could have my back. Except for Tony being in a boarding school, life was all good. I had two siblings and great friends.

Like my elementary school years, my middle school years went by taking care of Yvonne which was a good thing for me as middle school was shit. Mathew also joined elementary school and it was fun. On his First day, he cried. If I hadn't been their mom and dad would have had a great difficulty. I still laugh thinking about the look on his face. With all the mucus all over his face and crying, it was a sight to behold. 'Well, this is what being a big brother means. I get to tease him till the day he dies with it 'he he'. It took a lot of time to calm him down but he listened to us finally and obediently sat in the class. In the lunch break, when I went to him, he was all happy and go lucky with his friends.

When I reached high school, Tony had already joined MIT. But our bond was still tight. Eight years of friendship me and Tony as well as me and George. My brother is 10 years old and sister is 5 years old. She is starting school this year. I always use Mathew as bad child to warn and teach Yvonne but I don't know how much of it will work. Our life has been good, normal.

As for my training, I have become proficient in all martial arts of the world. I have even become proficient in elements of air, fire and earth while water and wood have only been materialized. I have a completed plenty of missions through the system and even honed my battle skills.

As I was playing with my little sister in the hall, mother called us to have dinner. So, I got up and my sister jumped and ran.

"Don't run through the hallway, Dianne" Chris said

She turned back and made a funny face at me and skimped away to the table. We all sat around the table and said our prayers. After our prayers, we started to eat.

"Are you excited to go to school tomorrow, Dianne?" mom asked

"No, do I have to go?" she asked sadly

"Yes, no compromises."

"Please dad" she asked with puppy eyes with a small tear on her eyes.

Dad's heart had started to melt but one look from mom's cold stare made him gulp back all that he wanted to say. Then he turned to her and said

"Sorry champ you have to go" he said

Then she sulked back into her seat and started eating slowly.

Seeing this, I put few more meat into her plate and said

"Well, Mathew will go along with you and you can find more friends at school." Chris said

"Well, will I really get friends?" she asked

"Yes, and do you know your homeroom teacher was also my homeroom teacher. So, if you be a good girl and don't cry like your second brother, I will talk with Ms. Cooper to give you some extra time to play. Deal?"

"Deal. I am not wimpy like Mathew. He he" she said as she snickered

"Hey not cool" Mathew said aggrievedly looking at me. While mom and dad laughed along with me. After dinner, we were going to watch T.V but mom didn't allow us and sent us to sleep. I tucked in Dianne and also said a story for her as she was not sleeping. After she slept, I went back to my room and laid on the bed and closed my eyes as I said

"Ava, open status"
