Third floor-part 2

I settle down in this town and help them farm and make the purity potion in exchange for allowing me too study some of there crops and animals they kill, I discover a surprise that the energy of this world is naturally occurring mana, Mana is the combination of mental and physical energy as long as you had an energy that could apply too both it was possible too make mana but the very world itself was filled with mana naturally that meant the world itself had both mental and physical energy a very rare thing as ones world usually only has more complex energy like that are high grade ones where the world is evolving.

But this world is an ancient non technology based world as is clear with the village so it means this world had too have evolved the energy on it's on without another planet involves, it was possible too advance a planet without any of the three choices.

Of course it could also be a world that the tower claimed from another universe but our tower has not fought any wars except one and all planets had too be returned after.

Meaning this is most likely a planet in our universe that isn't able too properly connect too the tower so is instead used as a testing grounds, but how and why this is clearly a powerful planet with great worth so what stops the tower from properly integrating this planet.

I am still not powerful enough too learn this an all I can do is study the phenomenon's brought by mana and try and figure out how too use the mana properly while in a good place too do so.

I discover mana is a uniquely mutant like energy that unlike with mental and physical energy is naturally stable and far more pliant allowing for it too dissolve slightly when revealed too boiling water and rosemary it is also naturally anti impurity making it so anything using the energy too grow will die if put in location with impurities.

Because of this most mana users are split into two kinds the physical kind that uses the mana more like spirit energy and the energy attack where they use it more like mental energy users, I also begin too practice my mana cultivation now that it won't stand out so much too see someone with mana.

I spend the next three month converting part of my mental and physical energy into mana but it is slow and even after these three months it only reach's 5 mana, enough for five small fire balls another upside is that the mana I produce is all the elements although I am weaker then specialized it is known in this world that some people can use multiple energies making it not too strange as mages like that are seen as inferior due too a jack of all trades but master of none.

Most with more then 3 elements are seen as low potential people and are not often taught mana usage as there talent for mana is low due too low purity of personal mana.

You have too absorb mana from multiple sources not just one and balance those different elements or it could lead too trouble, I do not run this risk since the energy in me is all the same just taking different forms allowing me too grow slowly due to my lack of aptitude but still grow.

I wonder if Wyatt has absorbed anything in this world as having mana would help him greatly in advancing his strength, he should if not for any other reason then too blend in as we where not given identities in this world so if looked into it would stand out as foreigners and maybe even accused of being demons.

I spend over two years here and finally get my mana level to 10, the more mana I make the harder it has gotten and only about a tenth of my original energy has been transformed I will probably have about a 100 mana when the whole transformation is completed I have also not made much as I am only paid two tower coins a day for my work in exchange for free food and bed from the farmer.

He is set too marry soon and I am going too head for the capital, he has talked about leaving here as it is too far from a church where the pure mana people are and if we remain the demons may over take us and turn us into one of them.

I pack up with him and we head out with his new bride I focus on meditating and advancing, five years is how long I have spent and the once prosperous land is now slowly turning rotten and corrupt with people fighting all over for the little food they can get a hold of and all physically fit men sent too war and only returning if injured beyond repair or dead.

I can see this border country next too the demon layer is not going too last much longer and the farmer has already began packing for the neighboring kingdom with his wife and 2 children, I am now at 45 mana and can feel the full transformation described will happen soon.

We head north too the iced mountains as demons are innately heat inclined species and are weaker in colder climates meaning they won't touch the north for a while and here can serve as a border and protection, the farmer claimed I am his brother and I heal for the military allowing him to escape the drafting up to this point but with little farming possible and him not being from here originally he gets drafted I make sure too house clothe and feed his family.

His wife gives birth to there third child a son only three months after he leaves and dies of heart break a year later from the letter reporting his death, war is not kind no matter how good you are.

I take in there three children teaching them mana and how too fight while I have taken a break from advancing too watch over them till they are healthy and old enough too watch over themselves.

I could have gotten the profit and left long ago but this is the perfect floor for me too broaden my knowledge on mana and there is plenty time too advance another time, I am still only a profit margin of 400 by the sixth year but have gotten a hold of my mana and can use it too a decent extent both as a physical an elemental attack.

I am also about to undergo transformation and have set aside the four hundred tower coins for the children too use during my indisposed time and paid for them too attend classes one would only expect a noble too attend here but I insist they must go.

I finally begin the metamorphosis but unlike the book claim it was like my body was fluid changing easily with no trouble or danger slowly my mental and physical energy completely merged and all three energy cores where fill with mana I can now begin the process of pushing out my energy into my veins.

Bit by bit time crawls as I perform the delicate procedure of integrating this mixed energy into my body allowing it too slowly replace the energy already there, it doesn't take more then two years too complete the whole process.

I am 28 years old and have 100 mana in my body, even for advanced worlds mana is considered a rarity for those below SSS-grade and for me too have it so young would make me a talent even in those worlds.

Mana is far more potent then either of the energies as my senses and body strength have reached SSS-Grade although my control is poor mana potential is based of how little Varity of energy is in the mana and my mana is made purely using energy I produced and is 100% me with nothing else mixed in meaning it is the highest potential one can think of.

I look at the now 7 year old girl the eldest of the children and a sweet child all-round who takes care of her younger sister and brother acting as a teacher too the two in many ways when I have been unable too.

I will begin truly taking care of them now that I have finished my transformation at least until the girl is good enough too no longer need me.

I spend the next 8 years pushing the eldest and teaching the younger two in combat and mana usage as although none of them are talents all having at least two talents for the second girl and four elements for the eldest and youngest I make them learn how too use those elements together too make a far more ferocious and deadly attack.

I have spent a total of 17 years on the third floor or 940 days if you count outside time but the gains are innumerable I look at my status screen.

I have swapped completely too mana and although my stats may not look it 110 is considered the top of SSS-Grade I reach this stat with only 100 mana verses the 100.000 or 500,000 for spirit or mental energy.

And all it will take is a nudge for me to advance too the next level although I am unsure what the next grade is I look forward to it.

The kids are good on there own and I am close too the 1,000 profit the tower requires, I will leave this floor after having spent two and a half outside years on this one floor,

I wonder how far Wyatt has gotten.

P.O.V. Wyatt third floor

I appear in a mountainous area filled with cold air and no village in sight with monsters as far as my senses could feel, I wanted too hunt and get profit so I chose a country with what looked like a large amount of monster and I was right just it is a very barren country so I will have time too look into this floor and get anything good I can from the things here.

I begin too hunt the monster with the least energy I can sense but even a low energy monster is at S-grade whatever energy used here made the monsters physically powerful, I immediately begin absorbing the thing I killed.

I feel a new energy enter but not too my body or mental sphere but around my heart I look at my status and discover I had absorbed a completely new energy, mana.

I had heard of mana from Aadi and now seeing it for myself I know it is without a doubt powerful as I only had one mana point and it already increased my body more then any energy I have ever felt.

I have been absorbing many different energies since entering the interstellar tower and by far nothing comes close to the worth of this one drop of mana.

I will have too have Aadi give me too look at the mana cultivation book later so as too make proper use of this new energy as well as how to cultivate it in a world without mana, oh well I will find him eventually.

I track down one after another but quickly realize I can only absorb a little at a time as absorbing too quickly will cause the energy to fight and go out of balance so I have too absorb a little at a time.

I finally come upon a settlement after a month of hunting in the forest and they offer too buy the monster carcasses off me for 10 tower coins a piece and I agree to the trade.

I have them point me in the direction of a larger town and am off too the larger town too investigate in a less conspicuous and suspicious way, I take only two days too reach the larger town only to come when they are recruiting soldiers for fighting on the front lines.

It looks like this world isn't a peaceful or easy going one we are used too in the tower.
