That man was lucky to survive to the first generation of quirk users, the demented man accidently ate a quirk user alive. The quirk users quirk was simple, To give people nightmares.

However the real ability the quirk user had was that anyone who ate his flesh would be granted the power of all nightmares he has bestowed upon others turned into real abilities based on the nightmares.

But the quirk user was only 9 and had only given few nightmares to people.

The sideffect of the power that was bestowed upon the man made him a immortal skeleton with the power he was granted twisting his mind into having a philosophy of ending all life.

The ma- Lich then went on a 112 year campaign of death. Killing almost 37 million people in China, North and South Korea. And Japan.

However when the Lich made his greatest attack yet, on his hometown of Tokyo. He was sealed away by a hero who could summon barriers.

The Hero turned his entire body into a Barrier and sealed the lich away. Sacrificing himself to stop the Lich.

The lich was forced to wait for the opportunity to leave, but that never came.

And after multiple decades, the moment The lich gave up on escaping and tried to stop thinking, Another mind possessed him.
