However when she lays down to sleep, she is teleported to Lucens Terra, an alternative dream world where she is the most beautiful woman of the land. Why does this alternative world seem so real and why does she feel like she wants to stay so badly? Maybe it’s because she’s engaged to the Prince, Cornelius? No it’s got to be the fact that she’s married to the most dreamy tall dark and handsome man she’s ever met, Ivan? What in the world is going on here?

Love Guru.

"Ugh I'm so bored."

Leona laid up in her bed as she thought about how it was a Saturday night and she had no plans. My life is so boring. She thought to herself.

Her phone lit up on the nightstand next to her which made her jump up to look in hopes of a new message. It was just a notification of a new post on her social media feed. She sighed.

"I have to get out of here."

She got up on her feet and slipped into some skinny ripped up denim and put on a loose white t-shirt. She checked herself out in the full length mirror in her room and tilted her head to the side as she looked herself over. I guess this will do. She said as she ran her fingers through the ends of her long blond hair.

She turned around looking for her brown purse on the floor. She picked it up and wrapped it around her shoulder then slipped into her trusty checkered Van flats before leaving her room.

"I'm going out for a bit!" She shouted for anyone who was nearby.

Her parents never really were involved with her life. She didn't have that close family tie to her parents. For that she was thankful but also it kind of bugged her.

Thankfully they lived nearby the city and just walked a few blocks. The city always had street vendors and exciting other things to look at. When she was really bored she would come by just to pass by time.

It was hard being the new girl in town. She had no friends to occupy her and it's not as if she was in school anymore. They moved here after she graduated highschool and she was supposed to start college in the fall but it was still summer time.

There were people swarming the streets. Coming in and out of clubs/bars or ending their evening dinners. All sorts of different colored lit up signs saying 'OPEN'. She headed towards where the street vendors were to see if she could find anything interesting like jewelry or stickers to buy. Again, she wasn't really interested. Just needed to pass by some time.

"Hey young lady! Come here!" An older woman's voice shouted at her.

Leona turned around looking for where the sound came from. Near a dark alley was a woman who looked like a gypsy seated behind a purple clothed table. It read Love Guru on a piece of paper taped to the cloth. Leona pointed at her chest and the gypsy woman nodded with a smile. Usually Leona would keep walking but something drew her to this woman.

"Uh…no thank you." Leona tried to deny as she continued to walk towards the woman.

The woman smiled and reached out a hand to gesture her closer and closer.

"Come my dear. I want to read your fortune."

Leona rolled her eyes but then winced when she realized the older woman probably noticed. However if she did she didn't mind because she didn't say anything once Leona was in front of her table. Now up close she could see the woman was much older by the wrinkles on her face.

"Give me your hand."

Leona hesitated but then finally gave her hand up. Oh well. She thought.

The older woman grabbed it firmly and smiled up at Leona. Leona noticed she had a gold tooth and winced a smile back. The gypsy lady ran a long fingernail along the palm of Leona's hand and giggled.

"Oh yes lots of passion is coming to you…I see a, a husband! Oh and what is this…? A curse…"

Husband, Ha! A curse?! Leona tried her best not to roll her eyes again and instead sighed. She felt the older woman's grip tighten again on her hand and Leona freaked out and tried to yank her hand free but couldn't. The gypsy lady closed Leona's hand into both her palms and began to chant something that she couldn't make out. Her vibe had totally changed from innocent fraud street vendor to a crazy lady.

"Ow let go!" Leona protested, still pulling at her hand.

"VOILA!" The gypsy lady shouted and then snapped back into her old self by laughing. It was more of a cackle.

Leona yanked free and grabbed her hand massaging it. "What the heck lady?!"

The gypsy woman continued to laugh and gave Leona a cherry smile. "You're welcome my dear."

Leona quickly backed away from the table afraid of what had just happened but then shook herself back to reality as she got further and further away from the old woman until she couldn't hear the cackling anymore. She decided she would just go home after all. That had ruined her night.

When she got home she quickly ran to her room to grab a towel and went to take a shower. She wanted to wash away the gypsy lady's touch. While in the shower she looked at her hand which seemed to be completely fine and pondered what had happened at that table.

"What a weirdo." She said and finished up her shower.

After she got back to her room she put on her pajamas, turned off the lights and went to lay in her bed. Slowly she dozed off into a sleep. A sleep so deep that it brought her a dream.

"Hahaha VOILA! Hahaha curse curse curse!" The old gypsy woman's voice echoed in the dream. Everything was so dark. She tried to wake up by running through the darkness.

"Wake up Leona! Wake up!" She shouted to herself which finally made her ascend.

Shooting up from her bed she took a deep breath in and out. She repeated over and over until she calmed down.

"What a nightmare." She said as she put a hand to her chest to calm herself down. She was about to lay back down until she saw the sheets on top of her legs. White silk? This is not my blanket. She thought as she looked up at the room.

Her heart started to race. It was not her room. She rubbed her eyes to make sure she was seeing clearly. She was in someone else's room but it couldn't have been from her home because they didn't have a room like this in her house.

"Leona! Wake up! It's a big day!" A woman's voice shouted from the giant dark wooden door.

Leona pulled her sheets up to her body when she heard the voice. I must be dreaming still…everything seems so real though. She thought to herself.

"Leona, are you not awake?" The door opened and in walked a brunette woman who looked like her mother's age.

"Oh you are up. Get dressed. You have to meet with the prince in an hour." The brunette said.

Leona's eyes widened. A prince? I'm definitely still dreaming. She thought.
