--------------------------------------------------------------------

"I won't lose to you!"

With a scream, Raditz hastily raised his upper body, gasping for breath.

After a moment, he found himself facing a white metal wall. Where was he?

Looking around, he saw the orange-haired girl, exhausted and asleep, holding an empty can in her hand. The space around him was small, with only the resting cabin he was lying in and various wall fixtures.

This was the rebel spaceship. Raditz breathed a sigh of relief.

It seemed that he had successfully escaped from the metal planet...

"Raditz! You're awake!" Vladi rushed in, exclaiming.

"It's not too bad, but my shoulders and back still ache a bit." Raditz gritted his teeth.

He looked around and asked, "Where are we? What happened to Bondlers?"

The last memory Raditz had was being held by the orange-haired girl, and then everything went blank. He had desperately triggered the chip's hidden destruction program, forcing it to reverse and destroy Bondlers.

"This is the rebel spaceship. The destruction of Bondlers happened so quickly that your spaceship didn't have time to restore its power system. So we're here for some peace and rest." Vladi explained, pointing outside the door to where a large group of people were gathered in the main cabin. "Everyone's here."

"And what about her?" Raditz asked.

"She took care of you all day." A voice suddenly sounded from outside the door, gentle and soothing like a flowing stream.

With the voice came an old man.

The old man also had orange hair and wore simple clothing. Though not tall, he exuded a certain charm. He politely bowed to Raditz. "Thank you for saving my grand daughter, Zangya. She's the last remaining descendant of our family. She's kind-hearted and says you saved her, so she's been by your side all this time."

"Zangya?"

Although the orange-haired girl herself had forgotten her name due to the experiment's destruction, the old man remembered it correctly. Raditz couldn't forget either. Zangya... Wasn't she one of the four Galaxy Soldiers of Bojack?

Upon closer inspection, except for the ears and eyes, the girl in front of him bore a striking resemblance to the one Raditz knew!

If his speculation was correct, then how did she become that fierce and strong warrior...

Raditz felt puzzled.

"What are you thinking? Get ready," Vladi interrupted his thoughts with a smile.

"What are we going to do?" Raditz asked, puzzled.

"You'll see."

Vladi pointed to his body, then handed him some clothes—an old outfit. Raditz blushed slightly as he realized he was still unclothed. Reflecting on the decisive battle with Bondlers, he had rushed out of the flames, almost completely drained of energy. His clothes had likely been destroyed at that time.

He put on the old clothes, rough in texture but enough to cover his body.

Vladi waited for him to dress and turned around. "Here, take this. It's a gift from the Tumat Star. They're grateful for your help."

"A gift?"

"You'll like it. Get acquainted with it." Vladi smiled mysteriously, picked up the sleeping Zangya, and left with the old man.

As the hatch closed, Raditz was left alone with a dark golden ball.

Seeing it, he couldn't help but feel a twinge of guilt, as if he were once again facing Bondlers, the chip embedded within this very sphere.

He cautiously touched the ball, and as his finger made contact, ripples spread across its surface. The ball swiftly disassembled and transformed into a small mechanical bird.

"It took only a day for me to recover from such damage and regain full functionality. It's incredible," the mechanical bird chirped, emitting an unexpectedly sweet sound.

Raditz was taken aback—a spherical object had transformed into a bird!

"What are you?" Raditz asked.

"I am called Tumat, an intelligent assistant created by the Tumat Star. I am here to assist you now." The mechanical bird faced Raditz and continued, "I've been observing you since yesterday and I know that you're Raditz."

"You're my assistant?" Raditz inquired.

"Yes, I was made to assist people with various tasks."

Tumat, the Instrumental God. The name sounded imposing, but its functions seemed less impressive, more akin to an automated tea server or timer.

Raditz carefully examined its claws, beak, and the dark golden wings folded like a fan. He thought to himself, "This thing looks pretty cool."

"How many machines like you exist?" Raditz asked.

"I'm the only one. Machines of my caliber can't be replicated." Tumat stated confidently, a hint of pride in its voice.

Its words were quite intriguing—highly intelligent but lacking the rigidity and aloofness of Bondlers. Tumat was the latest and most exceptional scientific creation of the Tumat Star, perhaps not as powerful as Bondlers, but it seemed to possess better qualities in Raditz's eyes.

Raditz engaged in a lengthy conversation with Tumat, finding that they understood each other as if they had made new friends.

After a while, Goku, having been informed of Raditz's recovery, came to visit. They discussed when to set out and rearranged their plans.

After all, the situation on Earth could wait. They had to find the Dragon Balls as soon as possible.

Everyone expressed their gratitude to Raditz, and as they prepared to depart, they bid him farewell together.

The spaceship landed on a new planet, and Raditz and his group restarted the "HOPE," embarking on a joyful journey. Zangya followed her grandfather, waving at Raditz with delicate lips resembling a rose waiting to be kissed.

The scene only lasted a moment before the spaceship ignited, passing by everyone's sight and ascending into space.

...

The remnants of the metal planet drifted through the vast universe, fragments scattered in different directions. Faint lights remained, countless small chips dispersed within, flying toward Earth.

One particular fragment continued to absorb its surroundings, rapidly growing larger. Gradually, it absorbed the surrounding debris and metal sheets, consolidating into a complete body.

The other two active fragments scattered in opposite directions of the universe.

If Raditz were present, he would recognize it as the body of Bondlers...
