Milky Way, Planet Frieza No.79.
Slide.
The hatch of the healing device opened slowly, and Raditz emerged, recovered, and fully healed.
"Raditz, care to explain why you returned in such a sorry state?"
Before Raditz stood Vegeta and Nappa. And it was Vegeta who spoke.
Half a month ago, Raditz's spaceship had carried him back to Planet Frieza No.79. Due to his critical injuries, Vegeta had placed him in a healing device. After two weeks, Raditz had finally recovered.
During that time, Vegeta had grown curious about Raditz's journey to Earth. What could have left him in such a sorry state?
"Vegeta, Nappa..." Raditz greeted, momentarily taken aback by the question. His expression quickly turned normal as he recounted his experiences on Earth.
"Kahn, your younger brother, has a power level of 5,300?" Nappa raised an eyebrow in surprise.
Considering that Kahn was born a low-level fighter and lived on a low-level planet like Earth, a power level of 5,300 was unexpected.
Vegeta, however, seemed unimpressed.
"Hmph, a mere 5,300 is nothing. But did you get any information about the Dragon Balls?"
Vegeta was more interested in the Dragon Balls than in Kahn's power level. After all, his goal to send Raditz to Earth to recruit Kahn and Goku was secondary. The Dragon Balls were his primary target.
Though he is currently serving Frieza, Vegeta, a Saiyan prince, has always dreamt of freedom. A man like him couldn't tolerate being subordinate forever.
However, Vegeta knew he couldn't defeat Frieza with his current strength, which was why he was hoping for the power of the Dragon Balls.
Raditz hesitated but then nodded. "Yes, I got confirmed information about the Dragon Balls. They do exist on Earth."
In truth, Raditz hadn't learned much about them during his visit to Earth. But he hoped that this would lure Vegeta to Earth.
What, power level of 5,300? Against Vegeta, Kahn wouldn't stand a chance.
Raditz knew that, him trying to kill Frieza is impossible and an easy way to his death. And he was afraid and didn't even have the strength for such a feat even in his dream, he sought to save himself by getting Vegeta to eliminate Kahn instead.
"Is the information reliable?" Vegeta asked, looking at him with suspicion.
"Absolutely!" Raditz swore, trying to show his confidence.
"The Dragon Balls on Earth can grant any wish!"
Vegeta's lips curled into a smirk.
"Perfect. We're heading to Earth immediately!"

Whoosh!
In the vastness of space, three miniature spacecraft shot forward like comets, leaving blazing trails. These ships carried Vegeta, Nappa, and Raditz.

Galactic Patrol Headquarters.
Myers, who had been monitoring Raditz, noticed the movement of Vegeta and his companions and quickly reported the information to Vados.
"How strong is Vegeta?" Vados asked.
"According to Galactic Patrol records, the Saiyan Prince Vegeta's power level is around 18,000," Myers replied.
"I see. Thank you, Myers," Vados said before ending the call.
Although Vegeta's power level of 18,000 was significantly higher than Kahn's currently, Vados wasn't overly concerned. Kahn's strength had grown exponentially lately. With Vegeta's group still a year away from Earth, Kahn had more than enough time to surpass him.
And if it came down to it, Vados would lend Kahn a hand.

Meanwhile, at Capsule Corporation.
Bulma had called Kahn on the previous day, informing him that the gravity training room was ready for pickup. Although she initially told him she had neither the time nor the interest, Bulma had gone out of her way to complete it now.
"Here," she said, handing over an intricately designed universal capsule. Crossing her arms, she warned.
"That took a lot of effort to make, so don't break it."
Accepting the capsule, Kahn smiled,
"Thank you, Bulma. You're truly the most brilliant scientist on Earth."
Bulma tossed her hair back, clearly pleased by his words. "Of course I am."
Kahn chuckled at her reaction, thinking all that was needed was a little praise from him, and she would light up like the sun.
And how knew she deserved it. Bulma was undoubtedly one of Earth's top scientists, rivaled only by Dr. Brief and Dr. Gero.
As for payment, Kahn didn't bring it up. After all, he had known Bulma long enough to know that she wouldn't accept it, and it would feel improper to even offer.
Leaving Capsule Corporation, Kahn headed straight home.
Having just obtained the gravity training chamber, he was eager to test its effectiveness in training. From what he remembered from the show, the training room had a significant impact in the early stages of training, but he wanted to experience it firsthand.
When he arrived home, Vados noticed the universal capsule in his hand and asked, "Husband, what's that you're holding?"
"This" Kahn replied with a smile.
"is the gravity training chamber Bulma created. With this, training will be twice as effective."
Vados' eyes widened.
"It sounds amazing!"
Kahn grinned, then extended his hand to her.
"Would you like to come and see for yourself?"
"Really? Can I?" Vados seemed delighted by the offer.
"Of course. Come on."
