Bulma is one of the best Dragon Ball characters, nobody can deny that. Perhaps the most intelligent person in the world, a woman who doesn't age, and despite being a mother of two in the canon, she still keeps her figure. So what if she could improve herself? Not just by using her incredible intellect to create various technologies, but also to fight. She may not be as powerful as a human, but the Omniverse is infinite! Someone unknown reincarnated as Bulma, lucky for her, she has one advantage that sets her apart from all her infinite versions, she's a mutant of her race! If Freezer is a mutant and so powerful, and Broly is even more so, why can't there be human mutants? Bulma, armed with the advantages of Plants from the Trigun manga, will forge a new path, not only full of comedy, action, and adventure but a new story, a new development, in which, in the end, at least the humans will be able to stand shoulder to shoulder with the Saiyans and their colorful changelings. -------------------- English is my second language, if you see any mistake, please tell me! This is obviously an AU, as the character grows, some things in the plot will change. Extensive research will be done on the source material to make sense of things that are illogical or not explained properly in the original work. There may be a lot of Dragon Ball Abriged material in here. Yuri, because I love writing that, but romance is not the main focus. The cover was made using an AI. I will be posting this story on RoyalRoad.com 7 Palabras, ESENCIA. Spanish joke, lol.
"It looks like he needs a lot more meditation to control the wildness of his transformation," Gohan said, standing before Brief and his apprentice Bulma.
Although this situation was to be expected, Gohan felt uncomfortable that the people he cared about were in danger. Yes, Goku needed to control himself when he became Ozaru, but no one liked such a risky situation anyway.
"Dad, you'd better back off," Bulma warned her father as she drew her weapon and fought.
All the crazy emotions coming from Goku told her only one thing: Her younger brother needed her help! If she felt uncomfortable just perceiving such emotions, imagine Goku experiencing them.
The growls of a transformed Goku could be heard for miles around, his somewhat wild walk and his randomly waving hands indicated that he had not only fallen into a violent state but that he didn't even have proper self-awareness.
A normal creature would not waste energy as he did, but instead of circling the stone mounds, he crashed into them with his huge body, smashing them in an angry motion.
The ground vibrated with each step of his huge being, and his imposing figure and the overflowing power hidden in his body gave him a truly terrifying aura.
Those ruthless red eyes and that huge mouth full of teeth ready to tear flesh was a sight that would make any weak-willed person lose all interest in fighting.
Brief dropped a capsule that exploded in a cloud of smoke and transformed into a motorcycle. The idea of luring his daughter to go with him flashed through his mind, but when he saw the determination in the girl's eyes, he knew he could not convince her.
That left only Bulma and Gohan, who fortunately had not yet attracted the attention of the wild Goku, but something so illusory could not be trusted. Gohan shook his body a little and started to jump into the same place, ready to perform.
"Bulma, I am going to teach you an important lesson that I hope you will remember. I will teach you how to move properly," Gohan said before his image faded.
It was a residual image! The old man had long since appeared in front of Ozaru's path, inevitably attracting his attention. The giant creature roared in annoyance and waved his large hand down to crush the pesky insect that stood in his way.
Gohan could have made a great leap to escape or run to the side to avoid being crushed, but he simply stood still until his body, covered by the looming shadow, moved gently to the side.
His balance was unaffected by the tremors, and his body was protected by a light layer of white ki as the rocks jumped all over the place. Undeterred, Gohan never took his eyes off the monstrous face of his grandson.
"Great acrobatics or spectacular moves are not necessary if you know how to move. Be calm as a lake, fluid as the wind, stable as a mountain, fast as a meteor.
Imprint everything in your body and trust it, keep your guard up but your mind relaxed. Think of everything, but meditate in peace. Bulma, remember that the sky embraces all, covers all, envelops all," Gohan's ethereal voice was transmitted directly into Bulma's ears as she watched in amazement at the old man's actions.
It didn't matter if the Ozaru wanted to crush him with his palms or his feet, if he wanted to slap him or kick him, he always avoided the attacks with uncharacteristic simplicity. He barely moved, the changes in the terrain did not affect him, and he was not intimidated by the mammoth power of Goku's transformed form.
As if fed up with the situation, Ozaru growled loudly and opened his mouth, pointing it directly at the old man. A bright light appeared deep in his throat and a ball of Ki began to form.
If the monkey couldn't crush it with its limbs, it would use its most powerful weapon. 500 energy points wasn't much at that point, but it was a real disaster for the terrain.
How could Gohan avoid Ozaru's attack when everything was being bombarded? That's what the violent mind of the creature seemed to think, and after it had accumulated enough energy, it spat it out like a cannon.
"Heavenly shield," Gohan said quietly, clasping his hands together and then stretching them forward.
An aura of white Ki erupted from his body, materializing in front of him into a hexagonal shield composed of small hexagons like a honeycomb.
The Ozaru's energy cannon slammed into this shield, causing a huge explosion that sent large chunks of rock flying and expelled the air in the area with violent shockwaves.
Gohan did not move despite everything, resisting the full force of such an attack. Ozaru, seeing that he could not affect the small bug in his path, increased the energy output.
"Möbius," the shield gradually transformed into a giant ribbon of Möbius, channeling the incoming energy and directing it directly at Ozaru.
With a scream of pain, the giant monkey's figure was covered in dust and smoke, but Gohan continued to focus his senses on the creature, knowing that he had barely hurt it because the attack was not at full power, so this fight would not end so easily.
The wind blew and removed the thick layer of dust that obscured the view, revealing the huge Ozaru with some burnt skin, but otherwise in perfect condition.
The creature began to beat its chest with its huge fists, emitting a dull drum-like sound, perhaps in a primitive form of demonstration to tell Gohan that it could not hurt him effectively.
A sudden bolt of purple Ki struck the base of his tail, causing him to scream in pain as his body turned to face Bulma, who had shot him. Though the attack did not remove his tail, it left an ugly scar on his now-smoking flesh, sending waves of pain through the crazed beast.
Ozaru roared in anger, why did this little bug cause him pain? His savage mind didn't understand, but he wanted to tear it apart mercilessly. Ozaru ran towards Bulma with an unusual speed for his size, but the girl was not afraid of his approach.
Bulma didn't dare to emulate her master's actions, she was nowhere near powerful or experienced enough to do so, but she wanted to take on the giant, crazy version of Goku, not only to get him out of his overwhelmed state but also to get herself some recognition.
Yes, she was weaker than an Ozaru, but martial arts were never about someone strong defeating someone weaker, it was about, among other things, allowing the weak to fight on equal terms with someone stronger.
Her first attempt to cut off Goku's tail failed, though the blood Ozaru spilled as he ran indicated how much her attack affected him. The ki amplification of her weapon was really good, but it didn't allow her to dangerously hurt much stronger beings.
At least not yet, but an improvement plan was already in Bulma's mind as she dodged Ozaru's angry blow. The blow hit the ground hard, causing a large dent in the floor, but Bulma had jumped before and was now running over the big monkey's arm.
'I never thought I would use this technique here,' Bulma thought as she moved easily over Ozaru's thick fur, her feet barely touching it and looking like a butterfly dancing between them at high speed.
She made some suggestions to Gohan about some techniques that might be useful, and this was one of them, inspired by the 'lightness' of some Chinese novels she had read in her past life.
One could doubt how rare these works were, but he couldn't deny that many techniques were indeed useful, and a martial arts universe like Dragon Ball would make some of them shine brightly.
Dodging the giant hand that tried to crush her, Bulma finally reached over Goku's shoulder, and with a great puff of air, the girl roared. Her scream was empowered by Ki for one purpose only, to annoy the great ape.
Ozaru roared as he covered his ears from the obvious annoyance, allowing Bulma to channel Ki into her weapon just before she dropped down the monkey's back and slid back into its tail.
Though the appendage tried to attack her, she dodged it with a leap and fired again at its base, wounding it again and causing more blood to flow. While she didn't like causing Goku pain, it was a necessary measure if she wanted to cut it off, although she could wait for the Blutz Waves to run out, she wouldn't bet on it.
"What great determination," Kami-Sama praised from afar.
His experience allowed him to recognize the complicated emotions in the girl, but she didn't hesitate to act to avoid further danger, which made her somewhat dignified in his eyes, but he soon shook his head.
"The girl has too many thoughts in her head to be a real god," Kami-Sama concluded before turning his attention to Gohan, who had always been close to Bulma, watching over her.
Only his presence was very well hidden, blending in with the surroundings and undetectable to anyone but Kami-Sama. The old green man nodded at the sight.
"Such a skillful integration with nature is unheard of, but he has the same perverted thoughts as Muten Roshi," although his voice sounded a bit whiny, Kami-Sama respected Son Gohan.
Although power was important, the state of mind was just as valuable, if not more so. Kami-Sama came to such a state through centuries of experience as a god, while Gohan came through his efforts and enlightenment.
There was no difference between the two ways since the result was the same, although the techniques used by Gohan interested Kami-Sama very much, he never thought that scientific knowledge could be used to create Ki techniques.
'Maybe I should try it,' Kami-Sama thought, already knowing about Bulma and Gohan's interest in this kind of research because he would look at it whenever he could, but he never thought it would be so useful in battle.
"Maybe they need a little help," the voice of an old man reached the ears of Gohan and Bulma, who soon realized the origin of it.
Kami-Sama decided to appear, normally he didn't do this, but Goku in his Ozaru form could be considered a 'threat to the world', which gave him reason enough to act directly in the human world.
Bulma and Gohan recognized him immediately, the girl because of her memories of her past life, the old man because of the stories his master Muten Roshi told him about the Great Demon King Piccolo.
Although Ozaru roared with renewed fury at the sight of another insect, he did not attack. His bestial instincts told him that this new insect of a different color was far more dangerous than the previous two, so he just growled and waved his hands wildly.
"Don't hurt him anymore," Bulma said quickly when she saw that Goku had calmed down a bit due to Kami-Sama's presence.
"Why? He's a threat to this world, he should be eliminated," Kami-Sama said seriously, although there was a hint of amusement in his eyes, he wanted to test Bulma again.
Maybe it was something that all old people did, to want to judge the younger ones, like a certain headmaster of a magic school. But Kami-Sama wanted to know how Bulma would act in this particular situation, although he did not wait for Bulma's answer, even with all his experience.
"Either you move or I move you, Old Green," Bulma knew that Kami-Sama was kind, but she didn't want to risk Goku getting hurt, she already felt guilty seeing the blood staining the fur on Ozaru's legs.
Then she raised her weapon and charged it with Ki, aiming it directly at Kami-Sama's head. Silence fell over them, Gohan did not speak, but gradually an eerie aura rose from his body, like a stormy sky.
"Brave, but sometimes bravery turns into recklessness, but... I like your determination," Kami-Sama smiled as he said these words and his attention turned to the Ozaru, who gradually lost his form and returned to that of a human boy, albeit with a slightly injured tail.
"I introduce myself, I am Kami-Sama," Old Green said, expecting a shocked reaction from the two, but was completely ignored by the old man and the girl, who focused on the unconscious Goku.
"Bulma, use your healing technique," Gohan instructed, carrying the sleeping Goku in his arms.
"Fine," Bulma created a small ball of purple ki that gave off a pleasant sensation just by being there.
Kami-Sama narrowed his eyes a bit, analyzing the situation in front of him, he judged Bulma very quickly, so he mentally put her on his list of future god candidates.
Now, all that remained was to see how Bulma Brief would develop in the future and if she would be worthy of such a position in the end.
