During the little brawl he had with his brother, Severus had understood his actual weak and frail state in a very direct manner.
Since then he had started to train his human body, at the beginning he had been doing classic exercises inside of his wooden hut such as
sit-ups, squats or push-ups. However since he reached the age of three he had started to work out around the town, from his long running sessions early in the morning to the long walks while carrying two buckets full of water.
Severus had even began to practice again his dual swordsmanship, by just replacing his usual daggers with simple wooden sticks.
His hellish training had continued for two years, until he had reached the age of five. Yet he had been missing a rather important part that his old self would consider essential. Meditation, it was a fundamental technique utilized by every vulcanian to help them suppress their emotion.
Severus had obviously never missed it for a single day, as his temporary breaks from training were actually utilized to meditate. However it wasn't the same as before, he wouldn't feel the same as when he practiced it with his vulcanian body. Meditating indeed helped him to calm himself and to soothe his mind, but it didn't suppress his emotions as he had hoped it would.
Turning back to reality, a middle aged man almost two meters tall with brown eyes, black hair and a bored expression opened the gate that blocked the entrance for the new students.
"Severus mommy has to go to work now! I'll come back to pick you up, have a good time and make some friends!"
Saying this Liliana let go of her son's callous hand and headed toward the tailoring shop. Severus presented his face with a faint smile, as he learned that it would make her happy, and waved his hand in her direction.
As soon as the parents started to separate from their children, he little kids started to form small murmuring groups, as they probably already knew each other.
Severus had obviously remained alone, now impassible with his stone-like expression waiting for the instructor to speak. In truth he had already formed a rather special reputation for himself. His brother Darius had already spread his nickname as 'the freak', yet very few believed the rumors behind such name. Only after seeing him training tirelessly almost every day around the town the other kids had labeled him as a weirdo.
At once they even tried to bully him physically, last year three lads had tried to gang on him. Too bad for them that Severus had already started his training for about a year. With his newfound agility he had quickly applied the neck pinch technique, rending them unconscious. Then he presented his stern face in front of their family houses, telling their parents what had happened.
A bit startled by the seriousness of Severus they had simply stated and apology to him before sending him off. However Severus wasn't as surprised from their lack of consideration on the matter.
The philosophy of this planet was far more brutal than what he had experienced in his past life, and he had already learned that. Probably the parents of said children thought that this would just be a lesson for their children to grow up. At the same time it had helped Severus to grow and learn the way of the world too. Thus they would probably just scoff at the kids.
Yet the true factor that deterred other children to assault Severus were the very same rumors.
Something like this:
'You better not mess with the freak, he had beat alone three kids older than him with easy'
Severus already knew of this, but it didn't matter he did not cared about hiding nor about what the other kids thought about him. In this new life of his he wanted to explore the mysteries and wonders that defied logic and reason. The school would assure him about both information and new opportunities, this was all that matter for him at the moment.
"Heelloo! I am new here, I guess you don't have any friends either! You can call me Argo, let's become best buddies!"
A joyful and excited voice announced its presence before Severus eyes. A little kid the same height as him presented his hand in front of the stern face of Severus, wiggling up and down, waiting for him to shake it.
Argo seem to be a very energetic boy, with a smiling face and a few freckles, he had short red hair and was dressing in casual clothes. He probably had a rather wild personality, exuding a resplendent aura.
However, Severus didn't like this type of humans very much. They were so expressive and full of emotions, they let themselves get influenced by their emotions very easily. Often not following the most logical solution.
As such he left the little guy with his hand hanging in midair, impassible as always.
"Uh, you are the silent time aren't ya? We will get to know each other better later anyway. I hope to be your classmate, as loners we must stick together right?"
Argo's pestering didn't enter Severus ears, as he was now concentrated to listening the few words the instructor had started to matter in an annoyed tone.
"Welcome everyone to your first day of primary education. I don't have much to tell you, just follow me inside. After you will take the magic attitudinal test you will divided in classes, then your respective teachers will explain things to you."
The slow and concise voice didn't supply Severus of much information. But at the very least he knew what he was going to do in the next hour. His first 'magical' test, some says that it's very painful others that it's not. Yet none did matter to him, as Severus couldn't be but skeptical.
In truth since coming to this new world he had already heard of the illogical wonders of magic, this mysterious energy that weirdly boosted to technology of the world of Rulia. For example, without any proper technology these humans had achieved vehicles that enabled them to fly or to move faster on terrain. However he only heard of them so far, as the little town of Savitoria didn't possess such 'artifacts'.
Now Severus was advancing inside of the gate, anxiously waiting to find answers for his doubts.
