As her body continued to sink deeper into the soft cushion, she knew she had to act fast. She formed her palm into a claw, and with a quick swipe and a pull, she yanked the cushion high into the air.
At the same time that the force tugging at her ankle vanished the moment she jerked the cushion down from the couch, she saw something.
