Meeting Evernight

Thursday, 5th July, Year 1349

It's morning now. Well last night ended on a very stupid note. Anyway after waking I put on my Glasses of Almighty and searched for all the people who knew about our previous identity. After that I used the ability of the Visionary pathway to remove any memories related to us from their minds. I also manipulated their minds so that they don't notice any discrepancy.

Ha now I have a headache. This puts too much strain on my mind to use. This item is too powerful but it's requirements are too powerful as well. It's mainly abilities related to brain power that are exhausting me. Maybe I should improve my mental strength with a consumable item first.

Anyway so I guess I got the green light for harem, but who should I start with? Well that is a good question to think about. Should I target Audrey? Wow I sound like sex offender in my mind now. I should probably think about this later. Though I think Audrey and Eva might get along well. And Fors and I would get along well too.

I guess its time to start the new day.

At around 3.30 pm in the afternoon. I used my Item Creation ability to create a pill to give me mental strength and physical strength equivalent to a peak Sequence 1 Beyonder. Now this is just giving me physique and spirituality level of King of Angels not any ability but this would really help in making it easier for me to use Glasses of Almighty.

After creating I eat the pill immediately after sitting in my chair. Eva is outside my room to prevent any interlopers. I also created a wall of spirituality through the knowledge gained from Omniscient Eye.

As soon as I ate pill, I felt power surging through my body and my mind heightened at another level. I felt my thoughts becoming clearer and faster. This situation continued for around 5 minutes before calming down.

After the process was completed, I broke down the wall of spirituality. And called for Eva to come in. She came inside after looking that everything went well and took a seat across from me.

"Brother you are becoming powerful day by day while I am just a normal person. When will you help me become a Beyonder? I know you said within a week but I feel a bit impatient." She pouted at me.

Well she does have a point, I can't leave her weak and defenseless while I become unbeatable. That way she will become a weakness that enemies would like to exploit.

"Alright, I will prepare your potion for day after tomorrow. You should at least wait for that long." I tell her while patting her head.

"You're the best!" She suddenly hugs me and then asks, "And how much powerful did you become now?"

"Well with all my items I should be able to defeat most Kings of Angels. I can't say that I can defeat them all because I don't have enough combat experience in these matters." I answer her truthfully.

"Wow isn't that great! So what are you going to do now?" She asks me with excitement.

"I am going to Saint Samuel Cathedral to pray." I say with a smile.

"Oh are you already making moves on the Goddess? Huh?" She asks with a hint of amusement in her eyes.

"Don't speak nonsense. I am going there on some business. Maybe I will make a deal with the Goddess." And that's the truth honestly. Though I do plan on making some moves today but not on Goddess but on Audrey.

I have used my Author powers to make Audrey come to the church this evening and have an encounter with me that will leave a deep impression on her heart that will sprout into feelings of love. Yup I used my powers for this, after all I am not really an expert in romance. Anyway I should head there now, earlier the better.

"Alright I am going there you keep yourself safe here. I will return soon." Of course I used my Author powers to keep her safe during my outing. And I will also keep an eye on her through the Power of Omniscient Eye the entire time that I am out. The power of this Omniscient Eye is really amazing, I feel like I can know everything in the City of Backlund with this and that's the limit for it at Sequence 1. Anyway there's no way I am going to leave my sister's safety on chance. But I should go alone to the cathedral because it can get dangerous depending on the Goddess' response.

I reach the cathedral in 5 minutes because it's close by and also because I stole some distance in between my walk to it.

After walking inside the church. I went there and sit down and listened to the bishop's preaching. While listening I was thinking of how to contact the Goddess. I didn't have any good ideas apart from doing some sort of ritual, I also came here to check if she has noticed me or not.

Anyway this is as good time as any to try saying her honorific name and see if she communicates with me. So I start chanting under my breath.

"The Evernight Goddess stands higher than the cosmos and more eternal than eternity. She is also the Lady of Crimson, the Mother of Concealment, the Empress of Misfortune and Horror, Mistress of Repose and Silence.

"I pray to you to talk with you about some important matters.

"I pray to you if you are free then please answer this prayer.

"I pray for your benevolen-" (A/N: I know this prayer is bs but it does get the job done 🤣)

I was interrupted by a sudden surge of darkness that enveloped me. After opening my eyes I found myself in a space filled with darkness and some flowers. I then see a hazy figure across from me.

"Who are you?" A mature female voice asks me who I assume is the Evernight Goddess.

So that was the chapter. Also MC screwed up big time this time. This was a spontaneous decision of mine but I don't regret it, I have to think how to develop their relationship now.
