Chapter 75

Half the bodies had a space backpack and there were multiple Pseudo-Artifacts found. Samuel collected 100 Spiritual Crystals from the bodies of all the Warriors and around 50 Spiritual Crystals worth of herbs and ordinary armour.

Although I say ordinary Armour, it is still armour made of Spiritual Materials. Enough to equip ordinary Dogs of War with.

But Samuel ignored most of the benefits, he focused on the tree in front of him. It was easily five metres tall, and the five small lemons seemed tiny in comparison. But they exuded an incredible amount of Spiritual Energy.

''Prepare to transport the tree.'' Samuel immediately issued orders and twenty Dogs of War surrounded the tree.

''Ahh!'' But just as they were ready to uproot it, a sudden shout broke the concentration.

Samuels head flicked quickly only to see the smaller body of B1 falling through a newly appeared hole in the ground.

''You stay here and transport the tree, EG! Follow me.'' Samuel shouted instructions and immediately dived down the hole eagerly after B1.

Naturally he was afraid, but this is potentially the chance from the Minor Daughter of Luck Talent. Samuel didn't want to miss out on this.

EG1 quickly followed as well.

Samuel didn't know how long they fell for, the ground seemed unending as he tumbled down countless tunnels.

But suddenly he felt an extremely strong fragrance enter his nose.

His closed eyes opened and his spiritual energy spread out. He immediately saw curling smoke and an extreme abundance of energy pour in around him.

''What is this place?'' Samuel immediately stood up and EG1 stood in front of him prepared for battle.

However B1 seemed enchanted as she walked towards a decrepit wooden hut by the side of a large lake releasing pure steam.

''Follow B1'' Although Samuel could order B1 to stop, why would he? This is clearly her chance.

B1 walked up to the cricket building and pushed open the almost broken door.

Samuel immediately saw the scene inside. A large futon was spread out with a skeleton sat cross legged.

Around the skeleton was a small bookshelf containing five scrapped books, and a small basket with some shrivelled up fruits.

However B1 didn't stop, she walked forward slowly before stopping in front of a large crystal ball laying at the feet of the skeleton.

[Detected that a Host's Dog of War has found a permanent attribute booster, does the host wish to absorb it?]

''Yes!'' Samuel didn't know what it meant but he didn't hesitate. He trusted the system enough for it not to be something bad.

When his words fell the orb shattered with a deafening crack, turning into violet lights that poured straight into Samuels body.

[Absorbed the Orb of Swordsmanship.]

[Orb of Swordsmanship (Permanent Booster for All Dogs of War and Host): 5% bonus to all sword based attacks, 10% Practice speed when training with a sword, 5% Reduction to damage that would be caused with a sword]

''Huh? So powerful??'' Immediately Samuels eyes lit up as he read it. This booster is insane!!

''But where did it come from?'' Samuel was instantly curious about the origin of the booster. But luckily B1 took this moment to speak out.

''Master, I know the origin. When I arrived in this place, the original owner spoke to me through his remnant soul. Apparently the permanent boosters are items that can be directly attached to an Organisation.''

''Once someone is recognised into an Organisation, they will gain the bonuses from any Boosters that are applied.'' B1 Explained.

[B1 is the correct host, the only difference by absorbing the booster is that it will apply to all Dogs of War, not just based on Organisation.]

''Ah I see!'' Samuel was finally aware of what this booster was.

''But B1, who was the owner of this place, had such a powerful object just lying around?'' Samuel asked curiously.

''Although I don't know his origin Host, I know that the corpse belongs to a powerful Rank 6 Warrior at least! Originally he was in a fight with an enemy from another planet, but he was destined to die. So he left his inheritance here hoping to continue on his inheritance.''

''The pool outside is a Spiritual Liquid Pool. Warriors can lay within and absorb the spiritual energy from within. More importantly though it has a fraction of the impurities that normal energy has!''

''It is also because of this pool that the Lemon Fruit tree above can grow so well.''

B1 quickly explained what she knew. So Samuel quickly understood what had happened.

Although this seems like a small opportunity, the benefits are extremely great! The only downside is that the fruits in the basket are rotten and the books have decayed by the many years that have passed.

''EG1 try to store as much of the Spiritual Liquid in the Space Backpack.'' Luckily EG1 and B1 both carried a Space Backpack with enough space for a large hall.

The pool of liquid can easily fit within one of the backpacks. Samuel even took the initiative to store the skeleton of the Warrior and the bookshelf and even the dishevelled fruits. After all they are still something to be placed in the treasury.

The skeleton of a Warrior that is that strong can be used to produce Artifacts or have the bones implanted into weaker warriors when Samuel unlocks that research.

And although the fruits have rotted, they can still supplement Spiritual Energy equal to a couple of months of practice. So Samuel was definitely willing to take them home.

As for the books, although they had mostly disintegrated, there are still some visible pieces of writing, so Samuel felt it was important to take it back.

Samuel looked at the emptied underground land and tapped the tattoo on his hand, preparing to return. He had just received news that the Lemon Fruit Tree had successfully been moved.

And all the Dogs of War have begun to return. Although the trip was incredibly short, it was definitely the most successful journey that happened so far.
