Chapter 74

One was a team of humans, dressed in green garbs of robes. There were 20 of them covered in blood, old and new each with scattered cuts and wounds on their bodies.

However their strength is average, 2 Middle Rank 1 Warriors and 18 Low Rank 1 Warriors.

As for the other side, they had a similar Physique to Humans however very noticeably they had pure Blue Skin and pointed ears. Much like the Na'Vi from the film Avatar back on Earth.

They had slightly more numbers, 25, with 3 Middle Rank 1 Warriors and 22 Low Rank 1 Warriors.

However Samuel turned his eyes towards the corpses as well, there were at least 20 corpses stacked up on each side! This battle has clearly been going on for a long time and a lot of blood has been shed.

While Samuel was assessing them, they were assessing Samuel too.

Two Middle Rank 1 Warriors from each side, who seemed to be the leaders, scouted out Samuels team.

However when they saw that there were a shocking 7 Middle Rank 1 Warriors and 35 Low Rank 1 Warriors they were extremely cautious.

But Samuel didn't focus on them, rather he focused on a large tree in the centre of the hill. Why? Because there were actually four Spiritual Fruits hanging from the branches.

''Spiritual Fruit tree??'' Samuel recognised it immediately. On the Eternal battlefield many plants have Spiritual Fruits and they are a one time harvest, however there are also Spiritual Fruit Trees!

Spiritual Fruit Trees are incredibly valuable, easily worth hundreds of Spiritual Crystals for a sapling and thousands for a grown tree! And that's the lowest possible price, there is absolutely no market in small cities.

Because Spiritual Fruit Trees can repeatedly grow Spiritual Fruits! Although the growth cycle is large, it is a renewable source of Spiritual Fruits.

Samuel also recognised the fruits on the tree in front of him. It was simply the Lemon Fruit. It has no special abilities but it contains a large amount of energy, equal to ten to twenty years of a 1 Inch Spiritual Roots practice, unimpeded by Impurities.

Samuels eyes glowed when he saw the Fruit in front of him. As did the eyes of the thirty five low Rank Dogs of War behind him.

Each of these fruits could easily boost them to the Middle of Rank 1! And there's 4 of them! That's 4 more Middle Rank 1 Warriors!

However Samuel knew he had to deal with the two forces in front of him before this happened.

''You two, you must realise the situation here. Both of you are greatly injured and don't stand a chance against us. It is better that you leave before you get hurt.''

Samuel immediately threatened the two groups. After all, if he can get the tree without fighting it would be best.

But how could they give up the tree so easily. Immediately the human warrior snapped back.

''Who gave you the right to come claim this? We have been fighting for the last hour and have lost many brave men! This belongs to us.''

The Warrior shouted in outrage as the warriors behind him readied their weapons preparing for battle. As did the blue warriors opposite.

''**1*£*79874!28(&*(&!"£'' The Blue Warriors wanted to speak but the language barrier stopped any sort of communication.

Although it is possible to slowly translate what they are saying, Samuel actually had no interest in it.

Rather he nodded to EG1 and SS1 by his side and they both readied their weapons, prompting the rest of the Dogs of War to draw their Pseudo-Artifacts.

SS1 started first, heading straight towards the blue Warriors. His body filled with black smoke covering his every move as he disappeared into a loud fog.

The fog surrounded the Blue warriors, as they looked around panickedly.

Suddenly behind one of the Middle Rank Blue Warriors, a sneering face appeared concealed by the shadows as a large blade cut deeply towards the nape of the neck.

With no hesitation a hot spurt of blood appeared as the blade met no resistance. Blood poured against SS1's face making him look like a devil from hell as he disappeared back into the smoke.

Meanwhile EG1 headed directly towards the Human Warriors.

''Hey, do you want a war?'' The leading warrior shouted desperately before he was forced to draw his sword and charge towards EG1 who had no intention to stop.

EG1's pure physical strength is much stronger than SS1's but he couldn't end a fight so quickly. In a single swipe of a greatsword the leader of the humans was knocked back a dozen steps.

''How??'' The human leader was stunned. He had eaten two spiritual fruits both boosting his body but he was still no match for the man in front of him!

EG1 just looked on blankly and attacked again. His only purpose is to protect and serve Samuel.

While SS1 and EG1 monopolised the top combat power, the other four Middle Rank 1 Warriors each picked an opponent and so did the Low Rank 1 Warriors.

Luckily the quality of the Dogs of War is much higher, all the warriors taken have reached the peak of Low Rank 1 and spent the last 7 years practising martial arts. They can easily take on one or two opponents especially when they are injured.

The enemies were dropping quickly.

Samuel however thought it was too slow. His large spear span directly in his hand as his feet kicked up a bunch of dust. He appeared directly in front of one of the Middle Rank Human Warriors and a spear stabbed straight through his chest.

The old middle Rank 1 Warrior stared down in disbelief, but he didn't have time to react before his body lost support and dropped down dead.

Samuel quickly moved to his next opponent, a nearby Low Rank 1 Warrior. It didn't even take a full stab as the tip of the spear lightly tapped the throat of the warrior, and spiritual energy pierced directly through the throat.

With Samuels participation in the battle, it ended quickly. SS1 killed two Middle Rank 1 Warriors on the Blue Warriors side, and 5 low Rank 1 Warriors! EG1 killed the leader of the Humans.

Seeing the corpses littered on the floor, Samuel instructed the warriors to loot the bodies.
