Chapter 175

Finally Samuel left the half body of the puppet at the portal to the Eternal battlefield. Unless someone is willing to start a Race War, this is the only entrance.

After sorting out his affairs in Lestan Plane, Samuel returned to BlueStar. He hadn't seen his daughter in a while and he missed her.

Meanwhile, Lily was currently sitting in her castle. She had just celebrated her birthday, but was unhappy. Because it was her first birthday without her dad!

Of course Samuel arranged for her to receive a present, it was a sleek black whip and the most talented whip using Dogs of War.

With the training, Lily's combat power increased rapidly. She had reached the Peak of High Rank 1, and was inches away from breaking through to Rank 2.

But right now she was leaning on the thighs of Becca. Of course it was just friendly, but Becca held undisputable care in her eyes when she looked at the young Lily.

Over the past year of their friendship, Becca's family found trouble with her many times. Her father had many contacts and warrior friends, and she helplessly complained casually to Lily.

Unexpectedly, Lily personally sent out a dozen Middle Rank 1 Warriors to scare them. From then on Becca had a very strong backstage and very few people dared to threaten her.

Becca had managed to make a lot of progress with Lily's support. Of course Lily thought she was just an ordinary mortal.

''Becca do you think my Dad will be back soon?'' Lily spoke with some melancholy.

Becca's heart aches seeing her like this. She couldn't help but have a faint dislike for Lily's dad who didn't even care to visit.

In Becca's perception, Lily's dad was similar to hers. Although he gives Lily a lot of presents, Becca thought it was because of Lilys talent.

While actually Samuel had been so busy with managing the war in the Lestan Plane that he couldn't visit.

Just when Becca was going to reply, a pretty maid walked in through the door.

''Young Miss, we have just been told that the master is returning. Please prepare to welcome him back.'' She bowed slightly before leaving.

''Dad's back! Becca let's go meet him!'' Lily seemed to regain energy instantly. Her body hopped up almost hitting Becca in the face.

She bolted out the door with Becca on her trail. Lily was so distracted that she didn't notice Becca managed to keep up with her. Although a faint sweat filled becca's head, it was undisputedly faster than a mortal.

''This girl.'' Becca shook her head but continued to run forward. Curious about Lily's father.

Soon they arrived at the headquarters of the compound. Becca looked around curiously, she had never been allowed in here. And now she realised it was beyond her expectations.

Just walking towards the towering skyscraper she saw hundreds of warriors standing guard. This became even more plentiful when she walked into the main skyscraper.

Hundreds of old men lined the room, sitting in lotus positions practising. Their eyes opened slightly as they looked at the passing girls, and they nodded politely when they saw Lily pass by.

Some of the standing guards even bowed.

Soon they arrived at a large door leading down to Samuels room. EG1 and EG2 stood at the door.

''Young Miss, the Master has been waiting for you.'' EG1 nodded slightly and pushed open the door.

Lily had long been used to seeing her dad's trusted guards around. And she used to run around this compound when she was a child so she was used to the sights.

But Becca couldn't help but sigh. It seems that Lily's background was far greater than she imagined. Just the number of Warriors she saw right now is enough to create a Rank E organisation.

''DAD!'' Becca's trance was broken when she heard a loud call from the girl next to her.

Lily ignored everything and ran directly to Samuel and jumped into his arms.

Samuel also didn't care about the other girl his daughter brought in. Instead he picked Lily up and spun her around, his eyes filled with doting.

''I'm sorry for being gone for so long. Here I brought you a present.'' Samuel felt upset when he saw his Daughter who had visibly grown since his last visit.

So he pulled out a black ring and handed it to her.

''Just something small that I picked up while I was gone. '' Of course it was the Black Shield Rings that Samuel got from Daniel.

As for Caterpillar Samuel, who was missing out? Too bad! This is his precious daughter.

When Becca saw the ring her eyes shone. It was actually an Artifact! Unexpectedly the Dad in front of her was generous. However she hid her attraction to the ring when she felt a faint gaze land on her.

''Aren't you going to introduce your friend?'' Samuel patted his daughter on the head and sat her next to him on a large sofa. His hand casually pushed a glass of Medicinal Liquid towards her.

''Ah sorry! This is Becca my best friend from school!'' Lily chugged the liquid, not knowing that it was extremely valuable.

Suddenly she felt a strange feeling in her abdomen. She was going to break through.

Samuel, seemingly expecting this for a long time, patted her shoulder. As she looked over slightly panicked he pointed towards a small passageway to his private practice room.

Lily didn't even have the energy to speak as she ran towards the door which slammed closed after her and two Dogs of War walked in to guard her. Slowly two Dogs of War positioned themselves at the entrance to ensure its safety.

''So Becca was it? How did you meet my daughter?'' Samuel held a slight smirk and he looked at the girl.
