Chapter 63: Back on Track

~Tatsumi POV~

"Ahh!"

Waking up in the morning from the tavern inn of Alchemist Quarry I began to get myself pumped for the day as I begin to take the path to the granny loli vampire house!

Getting out from the outside I walked my way to the rocky path leading to the rocky formation path as I went ahead to see and be reminded how many times I got my ass handed to me here just trying to get to her home.

*Rumble*

Speak of the devil and here they appear.

Rock-based types Danger Beast are not all the special as they look more like golems honestly as they sprang up. These types usually like to ambush with their defense and strength to compensate for a lack of actual brains.

Well, they technically have brains its more like that from that Yu Yu Hakusho against that Rock Demon that the rose guy whipped to pieces destroying the red rock.

As they come towards me I just simply used a smile counter of the backhand using the [Hasshoken] already that became second nature as I merely slapped the golem-type Danger Beasts on its arm.

*Crack*

*Thud*

The golem arm and along with everything attached to it was destroyed from the inside and out as it began to rumble down on the ground no longer alive. Glancing at my hand I made a proud smirk appear on my face as I talked to myself, "Hm. I guess I have gotten stronger thanks to my muscles being more refined. I guess having to disassemble and reassemble myself is proving its worth."

Have to admit I was skeptical about having my body being destroyed just so that I can have the best biologically perfect state.

When I used the [Hasshoken] earlier my body just responded to what would be the best course as the damage it was managed to pass the shockwave inside the Danger Beast as if it was nothing. It just makes me wonder just how much change it did to my body now that I can go all out again in the open.

Glancing around I saw that more of the Danger Beast of the same type beginning come over to see the commotion. It would be rude of me to not entertain the idea.

Let's try seeing if I can increase my speed perception of my surroundings as I see them go in slow motions. Cool.

*Swoosh*

Quickly dashing through them I felt I was like the flash or quicksilver going through them like bullet time in those games as my reaction speed is far greater than I could ever have achieved before.

But using it like this does deprive me of some oxygen to the brain but worth it since it's not something I can use that often anyway. Maybe I should call this going at speeds far beyond the norm how it is [Bullet Time].

*Bam*

Destroying the enemy Danger Beast I managed to turn off my [Bullet Time] as I breathed in the good stuff called oxygen before everything returned to normal again as the slow timed actions began to keep up with me again.

Seriously though I would never have gotten this idea with my paranoia but gladly took the time to see what I could do with body manipulation thanks to the Heroes and Villains in the MHA world inspired really.

With [Bullet Time] I now outpaced most characters in the show but outpowered is maybe of a stretch for me. Now though I could fuse the Teigu's I have on me to use their abilities since I have the time.

Hmm…

Maybe not [Lionel] considering I no longer need the boost or the regeneration anymore as long as I have the [Overhaul] quirk. As for [Shambhala] I still need it as it is for the time being mostly because I lack the info on how to use its abilities and would lose all the items and money I had inside the separate space.

[Big Leaguer] on the other hand I can do with the fusion since it just generates the elements and some bonus effect of that [Decay] quirk like Shigiraki using the orbs. And each of these orbs gives me the generation to use them along with the resistances as well to match.

Storm Orb: Created a large whirlwind.

Explosion Orb: Caused a massive explosion.

Flame Orb: Incinerated the victim on contact.

Ice Orb: Freezes any opponent it touches.

Lightning Orb: Stuns opponent with an electric jolt.

Rot Orb: Whatever it hits erodes.

Summoning out the [Big Leaguer] I began to playfully use the Teigu as an experiment on them using my body to fuse them into my body.

Remembering a bit of the Teigu themselves they have been successful had them obtain the hides and corpses of Super and Special class Danger Beasts such as the dragon Tyrant and The Rare alchemical super steel, Orichalcum.

Orichalcum…

Basically, in all of fiction, it's pretty much the hardest super metal in fantasy-like words like these and they are very durable as well since the Teigu's are created to hold the power that makes them quite the useful conductors of powers huh?

Shame that most people in this world can't hold or make these Teigu's more useful and only the Empire knows how to create only 48 of them while other countries can't unless it's Wakoku the creators of Teigu's.

Another Emperor 400 years before the presence of the story had also attempted to create his own Teigu and try and create weapons that surpass the original 48 using his resources.

However, this venture failed, because despite being powerful in their own right, the newly created weapons were nowhere near as powerful as the Teigu and were thus then named Shingu.

In the island continent of Wakoku, the creation of Teigu-like weapons is common knowledge among the 22 nations of the continent and are instead referred to as Meihou. Unlike in the Empire, they can be easily produced if one has the right materials and the required amount of money for production.

Whatever…

Using the quirk [Overhaul] I began to fuse the [Big Leaguer] into my own body as I can feel that my body was instantly destroyed as I felt each moment of pain being torn apart but only for that brief second's till I was reformed again.

Ow…

Using the [Overhaul] quirk on my body is still a very painful process to get used to but the fact of the matter is I managed to fuse my body with the last of the orbs used for the Teigu [Big Leaguer].

Noticing my body a bit I can feel that my bones are lighter than I remember and felt like I have new functions I never had in my body before. I can feel like I have some open muscles that I never tried before but can summon it like a command.

The feeling is somewhat similar to a quirk, but I can tell some differences from at least six of them I can use now. Grinning at this I placed my hand towards an open field as I began to use my body features to get used to the body's new functions.

*BRR*

Suddenly I managed to summon up a bright blue fire coming out from my hand being completely wild at the air like a condensed fire emission beam as I looked at it awe, "So that's what it feels like to burn with fire as bright and colorful as blue… but…"

When the burst of condensed fire was done I looked at my hand to see it has some burn marks seen but then began to heal itself automatically.

I see…

Despite me generating the fire I can't seem to have the control for it even if it came from my body I can only generate it and control how hot I want it to be. That is an interesting fact to learn from this.

Stepping my foot on the ground I began to use another power from the body as I began to feel a chill erupted outside to see a decently large row of ice going off in the distance but I know for sure that it wasn't that strong when it was an orb though?

Is it possible that it evolved and grew to be the biological perfect state for me to use when I used the [Overhaul] quirk on my body and made it stronger for me to use? Sigh… no use asking such unknown questions.

Moving my way towards my destination I made my way towards the forest section of the area as I was met with more plant-based Danger Beasts in my way like the trees and grass in the area.

Just one swipe of blue fire at them and they were completely done in. Still, though having the ability to generate fire, ice, lightning, wind, erode, and because explosions are pretty handy abilities to have around.

"ROAR!!"

Getting the attention of the more beast-like Danger Beasts in the area I was slightly surprised to see this Special Type in the open I believe it's called the Apeman.

Apeman is a large, sasquatch-like Danger Beast species. Apemen seem to be muscle-for-brain Danger Beasts with little reliance on tactics and more on brute force. Although they are the muscle for brains, they are quite powerful, as they have been able to even damage users handling Teigu with protective capabilities.

*Swoosh*

That was when it began to dash at me as I have no time to play with this thing. Quickly going into [Bullet Time] I wanted to know what I should do with this guy but seeing I'm in a rush I'll just end him here.

Scratch that maybe I'll save him when I have a corpse at the ready to integrate the Apeman into weapons like [Lionel] transformation. Summoning out from my [Pocket] I brought out some belt I began to fuse the Apeman into it by command using the [Overhaul] quirk and stuffed it inside my [Pocket] again.

I'm going to need time to figure this out of creating my own Teigu's for now though creating some prototypes would do nicely.

With that brief but beneficial encounter done with I began to move towards the direction of what the alchemist has said as I finally met the castle as I breathed out in relief, "God damn it that took too long for my liking. At least now I made it here in one piece."

The castle itself looks to be kept in shape with stone walls and glasses as far as I can see with no cliché of gate moats or the sort. Although I do question it looks more like a manor than a castle maybe as castle-villa perhaps?

*Creak*

That was when I saw the castle gates open up as I saw the person I wanted to see as she came out looking quite annoyed at me. That was when she glared at me with her impression of me as she spoke angrily, "So then you're the fucking asshole that have been killing off my experiments you god damn motherfucking hill Billy BITCH!!!!"

Yup, she's pissed off.
