Lucifer and Gabriel were staring at each other's souls and it seemed like they could kill the other at any moment. No one was there to stop them, no one to support them too. It had happened quite often when they were in heaven and their mother used to run in between to stop them. She knew Lucifer would stop somewhere but once the pride is hurt, it was almost impossible to stop Gabriel.
"Brother, you do know that Mother is not here to stop either of us." Lucifer warned as he knew that he was losing his patience.
"I am glad she is not here. You just said something so awful about my girl and you think that I had let go of that? You wish!" Gabriel huffed as he clenched his fist tighter on the other's collar.
"I just allowed you to know a fact, Gabriel. Why are you getting so offended? You let her come to me when you had all the chances to stop it. You knew that nothing in hell works according to the rules."
