Devil's Little Guardian

"So, are you ready to obey my orders?" His deep ocean voice fanned against her slightly twitched earlobe. "Y-yes, master." "Break a rule, you will be facing the same punishment as that douche." He smirked pointing at the cell which was completely dark and covered with magical dusts. Kristen choked out hearing the painful cries from the cell. That man had been suffering the same pain since the past two hundred years. He will suffer until some one replaces her master, the Devil himself.

PRETTY WITH YOU

Kristen was having a fun conversation with the man that she didn't even notice that the room which she is in belonged to the devil. She was there on her first day when she saw the couple making out. She seemed to be hypnotized by the charms in front of her that she even forgot about her objective of being on Earth. She was warned about his irresistible charms which she never believed and now she fell into it easier than anyone else. Lucifer was not much of a talker, she noticed that but every word he spoke left an impact. Sometimes, it was flirting but the next seconds a wonderful philosophy that she couldn't digest.

"Have you tried praying? I think it would help a lot of your concerns." She said cheerfully making him roll his eyes.

"Pray to whom?"

"The God, who else? He has the answer to every problem." She continued.

"He, himself is the problem here." Lucifer mumbled to himself before shaking his head.

"Said something?"

"Nope, I am not into those. My problems cannot be solved because it is fated on me." He passed a pressed smile, his head flogging with the memories of the past.

He was someone who believed in his father the most, even more than Gabriel. At times his brother used to be impulsive and make his own decisions but Lucifer used to tell him to trust his father but not anymore. There were days when he would be waiting for his father to talk about his concerns and obey his pieces of advice. Once he was grown big to realize the reality of his thoughts, he started figuring out everything on his own.

It was a fatal attempt because his father would find it out sooner and later, starting from smaller punishments which ended up in banishment. He was never a rebel but he believed in his thoughts and interpretations which didn't go well with his father's concept. It can't be blamed. His father once called him Satan, it came out as a harmless word but the impact it left on the boy was massive.

"How can you call me something like that, Father? I just expressed one of my concerns." He was bewildered at the statement which took everyone by surprise.

"Your thoughts symbolize him at times, Lucy and it worries me." His father explained.

"I am not like that." He fought back, trying to hold back his tears.

He was just twenty, centuries back it had happened and no one took his side. He was definitely not ready to accept those words because how people used to idealize the Devil was disgusting. Someone who would dwell inside any existence and provoke them to sin, to hurt others, to kill the angels, bloodthirsty beasts. He was not any of that as much as he knows.

He remembers how much he bugged his mother and brother to let him know that his father didn't mean it. He wanted some kind of confirmation that the word slipped out in the heat of the moment but no one bothered to listen to his pleads. He was considered as a Satan long back, and in the end to prove that word his father sent him to hell. Now with the official title of the ruler of hell, The Devil himself. His father would stoop down to any filth to prove his words and he was the victim.

"Hey, are you okay?" Lilah shook the man, noticing he was lost somewhere.

"Uhh?" He asked blinking away the tears which threatened to fall down his hazel eyes.

"You were lost in your world it seems."

"I have the habit of zoning out a lot. Sorry if I bored you." He weakly smiled, hiding the pain behind as usual.

"Who doesn't zone out?"

"Not when you have a pretty lady as a guest. That is rude." He reasoned, which surprisingly added a tint of pink to her cheeks.

He was just flirting and it sounded all-natural that she wanted to believe that he was just spitting out facts. He opened the curtains, allowing the moonlight to sweep into the room and a cold breeze that wrapped them. Kristen stood up, not being able to contain her calm seeing the moon, it looks pretty this far and much better than the view from heaven. Earth indeed is one beautiful place.

"It is so pretty." She spoke standing next to him, in the open space and resting her hands on the silver railings.

"Seems like you have never seen a moon." He laughed but stopped seeing her reaction.

"You for real?" He gasped to which she nodded.

"I have never seen this pretty moon before." She agreed with him.

"Well, things get prettier when you are with me. That is just my magic."

"Ohh?" She asked her lips forming the shape of a small o.

"It is a fact and if you had allowed, I will show you more of this. No pressure but just letting you know in case."

"What about your 'babe'? Will she be fine with me hanging out with you?" Kristen asked making his face drop in an instant.

"Not so sure? But I am in control here and she wouldn't mind if you tag along with me and Naomi." He grinned earning a small hit on the shoulder from her.

"Now that is rude."

"Father, don't you think we should call her back?" Gabriel asked his father for the millionth time if possible.

It has been only four days and he had lost his sleep. He knows his brother more than anyone and sending his fiance to him sounded way too dumb. How can his father agree to that even if it was her choice? Of course, she doesn't know Lucifer but that was not the case with others. they know him better and he was sure she would be in his spell soon. He was not going to lose her to his brother, he is not ready to lose anything or anyone to him.
