"Even when he had become a demon, nothing really changed about him. Why do you think that is?" Lucas asked.
Lilith, however, was ruminating about something, failing to hear what her husband had said.
"Lilith," called Lucas when he realized. "What are you thinking about?"
At this point, they came to a halt, and Lucas, blindfolded, faced Lilith with a questioning look.
"Husband…" Lilith stared at his husband. "Do you think I can't fight against them?"
Her eyes flashed with crestfallen, and her downcasted expression was evident in her distressed voice.
Even when Lucas could not see her face, since what Lilith saw was what was in his vision, he could naturally perceive her emotions.
Lucas was not insensitive to not having an idea of what she meant, so he replied, "Why made you think so?"
"It's because you did not instruct me to stall against them. Since you said earlier, you were not only implying my Father, right?
