Waking up the next morning, Owen walked towards his mom and sister room after ordering food for them to eat.

Greeting them and dropping the food on the table, they all sat down before eating. Knowing as he have two other people to visit and take care of, he quickly walked out of the inn before buying some foods with him so they can eat.

Seeing as Owen walked out of their room to go visit Kara and her mom, Bethany let out a quiet sigh as she remembered that she promise to answer his questions if he was to ask as they were safe already.

Staying for some minutes with Kara and her mom, he politely excuse himself so as to depart as he have a lot of things on his mind.

After building his courage last night, he didn't want anything that will make him change his mind, therefore going back to the inn was the most suitable solution.

Reaching the inn, he walked towards his mom and sister room before knocking on it and walking inside after being opened.

"How come you are early today?" Asked Beatrice as she was surprised to see him. "Didn't you go visit Kara and Helen?".

"I did, but something have been bothering me that's why I didn't stay for long" replied Owen to Beatrice as she close the door. "Mom, you remember promising us that you would tell us everything we want right" said Owen as he sat down.

"I do" was the short reply from Bethany as she knew it was just a waste of time to prolong the matter.

"Mom, I have been having some doubt in my mind that making me not to address the matter, but after questioning myself for some time, I have picked my choice, I'm ready, do tell us why we were being attack and what happen to our father" said Owen as he look at her.

"Beatrice what about you, do you think you are emotionally stable to handle anything I have to say?" Asked Bethany.

"Mom, I'm ready, I do want to know the reason for everything" replied Beatrice.

"Owen and Beatrice, this story will affect you in different way, I know you want the truth and that's what I will give you" said Bethany.

Taking a long breath and waiting for some time, she finally start the revelation of how everything came to how it is now.

"I know you will have questions to ask me but I want you to hold it in and don't distract me because I'm not sure that I will be able to continue if I was to stop" said Bethany.

"Okay" replied Owen and Beatrice.

"The first time I met your dad was in an alleyway, he thought I was being robbed but instead I got it under control as I apprehended the thief. Seeing your father also coming out of the alleyway, I thought he was also a thief so I attack him, but your father was just too strong so I call my people that has always been following me" said Bethany as she take a breather.

"Seeing my people beside me, my morale was boosted as we outnumbered him, but your father knocked all of them unconscious in less than two minutes while leaving only me conscious and also taking my family pendant".

"After his display, he just walked out of the alleyway, even though I wanted to hit him so badly for humiliating me, I wasn't able to as he was stronger than me".

"Waking my guards up and walking home, I thought that would be the last of him until he later visited my clan while asking for me. As one of he leader of the five clan, my father didn't take it lightly so he spar with him, but lost".

"My father being a wise man and knowing that if you can't beat someone, then join him, he decided to recruit your father to keep me company. That was how me and your father met and after some days, I started growing feelings for him, instead of the hatred for him, I started loving him".

"Even though your father was a secretive person, I still like him as he was willing to protect me with his live. When I got capture by the Dolfant clan son, your father singlehandedly came to save me, not caring about the risk".

"With your father being great in martial art and archery, I pleaded with him so I can learn from him, which he agreed to and became my personal tutor".

"Even though I was good in archery already and was boosting of it, your father made me question my skill as he could perform amazing feat, shooting three arrows was unheard of, but your father did it like if it was nothing and they were all accurate".

"Every training with him was effective as I can see myself improving, instead of only defense that our clan martial art was base on, I later learn how to attack with the training of your father".

"The Qi technique I instructed you guys to learn is also created by your father, thereby only four of us currently know the technique".

"Your father was a rich young man and also powerful in terms of sword but not frame, he love living a quiet life even though he can clearly become a powerful figure in the kingdom and I do like him for that as he wasn't the type to showcase his riches like the rest of the suitors that ask for my hand in marriage".

"With my dad agreeing to the marriage of me and your father, we both got married and I move to his mansion. As a young woman I did felt restless staying in a man house, but your father was good at everything, therefore after a day, I was okay with my new home".

"He made sure to take care of me in every way I wanted, we weren't lacking in anything and your father was always there by my side no matter what".

"With your dad showing me his place of works and other things, I became free with him as it no longer felt like he was hiding anything from me, but all that change when we all heard a message sent to our head" said Bethany as she think about that day which was clearly playing in her head like it was just yesterday.
