Lin Fan didn't panic when he heard this voice like all the other times he had heard this voice before.

Instead, Lin Fan just calmly turned to Yan Luo and said, "I need to take this call." After saying that, he moved to a quiet corner of the room.

Yan Luo was confused why Lin Fan would suddenly put a call over what they were doing, but he did have his guesses as to why. If he wasn't mistaken, the one calling should be the one that was backing Lin Fan.

Curious as he was, he didn't go and listen in on Lin Fan secretly. He turned off his powers and respected Lin Fan's privacy because he knew that a relationship could only be built on trust, even though he was technically only "using" Lin Fan.

However, Yan Luo felt the same way about Lin Fan as Lin Fan did about him. He liked the personality that Lin Fan had and if possible, he did want to become friends with him. So at the very least, he would try to give him the respect he would give a friend.
