Lin Fan had been sitting in front of his computer playing his favourite dating sim when he suddenly heard this voice in his head. The worst thing was that he was at the best part when this voice suddenly sounded.

Lin Fan took off his headphones and looked around, but seeing that there was no one there, he asked, "Hello? Is anyone there?"

The voice once again sounded in his mind, "Hello, host, you have been chosen for the Doki Doki Dating System as the Goddess of Love has felt sorry for you after looking over your life. Before the system issues a quest, please save your current state as a precaution."

Lin Fan was still confused by all of this as he repeated, "Save? What do you mean by save?"

"Save request has been confirmed. The host had created a save file."

Lin Fan finally couldn't take it anymore and shouted, "Will you just tell me what is going on!?"

But the moment he did, there was a knocking on the wall as his next door neighbour shouted at him to keep quiet.

Still, the system responded and said, "Host, the Doki Doki Dating system will help you finally leave your single life and find the love of your dream. Please go out and find a girl to capture, the system will do its best in supporting you!"

Lin Fan didn't know what to say to this system. It was asking someone like him to go out and hit on a girl?

Lin Fan was the very definition of normal, rather he was normal when it came to his appearance, the other parts of his life were all below average.

After an incident at his university, he had dropped out in his second year and had stopped going out completely.

The moment he did reach the counter, his arms that were rather weak from his lack of exercise couldn't hold the large bundle that he had anymore. His hands crumbled under the bundle and he fell forward, dropping the entire bundle on the counter.

The girl at the counter had been surprised by the sudden action, but then she revealed a faint smile.

Lin Fan's face couldn't help turning a bit red from this, but he also revealed an awkward smile, hoping that he could just play it off.

But then there was a screen that suddenly appeared in front of him, filling him with shock with the content on it.
